Like yesterday, one was a guy who fell because he was up in his tree cutting off branches in anticipation of the storm. There is no way in the world that was a good idea.

But, how can the NYT headline an editorial about how Sandy shows the need for more and bigger government if we can't shoehorn any and all deaths we can as "caused" by Sandy?

And how can all these government agencies justify their funding if barely a single handful of people were actually killed by the effects of the "Storm of the Century?"

B'Gal wants to vote early since her arthritis keeps her from standing for any length of time. I have lots of studying to do, because our ballot this time is two freaking pages, front and back, with lots of constitutional issues. I'm trying to get her to wait just a bit.
