The all-bacon burger has been created.

Behold:

Not only that, it is right here in Southern California. I need new pants.

Nuthin' wrong with bacon.  Fat, either.  I had to have an arteriogram done 18 months ago - I am a walking "poster child" for a heart attack.  Unfortunately for the cardiologist, my arteries are COMPLETELY clear.....

Yeah - I eat lots of fat.  Too bad  it isn't as "bad" for you as they would like it too be.

Carbs, on the other hand.....

I am now seeking $100 million in financing, preferably via a DOE grant, to expand production. Utilizing the Moronette Bikini Process© and the gentle sunlight of Maui, I expect production and other things to rise quickly. 116 Speaking of what pigs eat, a couple of hours ago History channel was doing a Modern Marvels on Mega meals.....they were showing a lot of the buffets in Vegas.  All the left over food (of which are a lot of pork products) gets processed together, and one place it is shipped in huge containers is to the local pig farm.  There it's processed further, heated up to destroy bacteria and fed to the piggies.  They love it.

148 Damn. They are relentless. This is a long one, so it will be broken up.

Friend --

President Obama is wrapping up a campaign bus tour through northern Ohio and western Pennsylvania, where he's been talking to people about his commitment to investing in American workers and creating jobs here at home. Yesterday, he backed up his words with actions by standing up to China's unfair trade practices, and showed his faith in American workers and industry yet again.

As we've continued to learn this week, Mitt Romney has bet against America as a private citizen, as a businessman, and as an elected official. Check out this week's tipsheet for details, and be sure to let others know about the stark differences between President Obama's and Mitt Romney's records when it comes to protecting American jobs.

#1 Standing tall against unfair trade practices
Yesterday, President Obama filed a case with the World Trade Organization against China's unfair trade practices. China has imposed more than $3 billion in unfair taxes on more than 80 percent of our auto exports to China, including cars made in Ohio and Michigan. But while the President has stood up and enforced trade laws against China, Mitt Romney attacked the President's 2009 effort to stand up to China on behalf of the American tire industry, calling it "bad for the nation and our workers." Check out this blog post about the Presidnt's record of holding China accountable for its trade practices, and make sure people yu know have the facts on the issue.

#2 Map of Romney investments
A Vanity Fair article published this week revealed that Mitt Romney has heavily invested in foreign tax havens, raising questions about whether he's ever avoided paying U.S. taxes. We already knew that he had a Swiss bank account until just last year, and that he still owns a mysterious corporation in Bermuda. The article notes that Romney's finances are "deeply entangled" with Bain Capital, including investment funds in the Cayman Islands. We don't know all the details because he won't follow precedent by releasing his tax returns, raising a lot of questions about his finances that Americans deserve to know the answers to. Take a look at this map of Romney's known investments in offshore tax havens, and make sure others see it, too.

Diner owner serves Obama breakfast, dies happy06 Jul 2012 23:45:00 GMT

Akron was the site of a sad and unexpected twist to President Obama's campaign swing through Ohio has emerged: 70-year-old Josephine "Ann" Harris — the namesake owner of Ann's Place — died this morning, about an hour after serving the president a breakfast of eggs, wheat toast and bacon. Soon after the presidential visit — which came complete with a hug from Obama — Harris complained of fatigue and a tingling feeling, and she later died at a local hospital. The saving grace was that Harris was reportedly "ecstatic" about the president's visit, as she told a local reporter soon after the visit. "I'm sure this was her highlight," Harris' sister told the Akron Beacon Journal. "She loved Obama."

153 Very interesting stuff being reported over at ZH about GM. Guess what, we are being lied to once again. Only this time, investors are suing GM over their lies.

First up, GM recently reported sales rose 16% in June. But here's the kicker -- sales are counted when delivered to dealers, not when delivered to customers. And dealer inventories have been soaring. Truck inventories are now at 135 days worth, when 60 days are normal.

Second, from The National Legal and Policy Center:

We now learn that government purchases of GM vehicles rose a whopping 79% in June.

http://preview.tinyurl.com/7nq9tze

I know Vashta Verada reported this the other morning in the Headlines thread, but without a source. This whole thing is political, with the JEF in Ohio touting the 'GM success story'. Yeah, we lost $45 billion so far on this 'success' and gave them a $50 billion tax break to boot.

The scumbags will do everything and anything to drive their narrative. Fuckers.

#3 Do you have a Swiss bank account?
Do you have an offshore bank account? As far as I know, it's pretty unusual for any American to have one -- especially someone who wants to be president of the United States. But just to make sure we weren't missing anything, we asked some people on the street whether they have an offshore bank account. Take a look at the video, see what they had to say, and share it with your friends.

#4 What a president believes matters
The campaign released a new TV ad this week that highlights a key difference in President Obama's and Mitt Romney's economic philosophies: The President believes in an economy that expands manufacturing and brings jobs back to America, while Mitt Romney's policies would encourage outsourcing, threatening the security of the middle class. Watch the spot and share it with your friends and family.

Lastly, the Romney campaign and the Republicans announced this week that they raised more than $100 million in the month of June. We're still crunching our June numbers, but for context, that's about what we raised in April and May combined. The President is counting on you, and he's betting that the grassroots organization you're helping to build can overcome Romney's unprecedented money machine. So thanks for stepping up -- now invite your friends and family to join the Truth Team as well:

Thanks,

Stephanie

See! That's what's wrong with this country! Everyone should just take what is offered and quit trying to modify the menu! (tongue firmly in cheek).

193 Truck inventories are now at 135 days worth, when 60 days are normal.

Pretty soon GM will just send'em straight to the crusher from the assembly line, and count the sale by the pound to the junk yard as a "sale".

Think of all the low performing dealerships that could be shutdown with such a plan.  Cut out the middleman and save, right?

Drats and curses, the missing clevis pin in my ornithopter caused my calamitous descent into a Chelsea green grocer!  I myself managed to escape unscathed, but three street urchins and a scullery maid were killed and their gibbets strewn about the street.  Damn you, Goolsbee!  Now I most certainly will not invite you to participate in my cabal with Cecil Rhodes and the Krupp Armaments conglomerate to take over Marconi's wireless contraption scheme.  Good day sir!

None of our female co-worker would agree to make an appointment so they could sly inquire whether she'd been born with the name or acquired it through marriage.
