This is dri's link from the sidebar. It's a clip from a Brazilian prank show. They have an elevator rigged so a "ghost" can appear and terrorize people. It's pretty hilarious.

The scare here is strong so I'm not laughing at these people so much as I'm laughing in the knowledge that I'd be pretty scared too.

This kind of reminds me of that      show on TruTV, "Impractical Jokers."   Some of the things they do on that show...    I'm amazed they don't get arrested, beaten to a pulp, or shot.

121 Best candid camera prank I've seen was the 100 year old cashier at the grocery store taking about 1 minute of slowness to ring up each thing. The customers were extremely pissed off but couldn't complain because she was old and feeble.

Most of the diners came back and sat in the booth opposite the person eating their meal, stunned. Some tried to explain to the guy he was eating their meal, others were too stunned to say anything. It was kinda funny. Then they tried it on some big guy that looked like a truck driver. He said "I've been waiting for years to do this" as he was taking off his jacket. All of a sudden a bunch of guys popped out of nowhere to restrain the truck driver as the video cut out. Best episode ever.

the two year old started behaving as a two year old will after  waitng 45 minutes for food .

the mothr of the two year old said, 'we should leave'
the Spouse said 'no, she will stop  ',

she takes the childs high chair and places it at the next table (strangers!)

the child stops crying, the strangers at the table blinked and resumed eating.

131 Best prank ever played on me was going to the DMV with my expired license and being grilled over proving my citizenship, having to drive to the SSI office across town, and 18 hours to another state to get my BC from the hospital I was born at, while obvious illegal aliens with translator in tow were being handed drivers licenses with no hassle whatsoever. They never played the prank on TV, and there was never a reveal of the cameras.

135 Most dangerous CC I watched was a hot chick asking a passerby to help her move a heavy box into her new apt.  Gives the guy a huge, awkward cardboard TV box and asks him to wait by the door while she goes around back to open it up.

She leaves and 2 huge, angry guys come around the corner, point, and yell, "There is is!"

They get up in the guy's face, literally inches away, and say it's their TV that was just stolen, press his back against the wall, etc.  Then the girl peeks around the corner, the mark sees this and tries to get her help, and she ducks back - humor since she won't come out from hiding and the guys don't see her.

I saw that setup ending badly if any of the marks had a CCW.  smh.

How did they know somebody wouldn't have just started beating the shit out of the girl, with every bit of adrenaline fueled strength they could muster, and with whatever weapon they could find?  Two adult women could have killed her before anyone could intervene.

 

Add onto that the chances for heart attack and that is one freaking irresponsible show.  The only way they'd ever avoid catastrophic liability is if the whole thing was faked and the suckers were knowing plants.
