— Ace This is dri's link from the sidebar. It's a clip from a Brazilian prank show. They have an elevator rigged so a "ghost" can appear and terrorize people. It's pretty hilarious.
The scare here is strong so I'm not laughing at these people so much as I'm laughing in the knowledge that I'd be pretty scared too.

Marcus, repost from last thread. This is pretty scary...
Marcus,
You hit the nail on the head. Listening to this guy speak at the convention, I watched a youtube video of it afterward, after the election debacle.
Reagan was from a regular family in small town Illinois that turned this fucking country around the people believed him.
Here you have a guy whose parents were immigrants and worked as bartenders and retail checkout line night shifts. THIS IS AMERICA!!!!!!
If he has a good heart, people will trust him and believe his message. Rubio was tea party before the tea party was even really fired up.
The tea party is the reason he is now a Senator, although there was no formal alliance. His best friend is Jim DeMint. Folks that is good enough for me, WITHOUT QUESTION. If he passes vetting, this looks to be our guy.
Which is why I keep saying: Marco Rubio-Tom Cotton 2016!!!!

We all agree we need the right candidate in 2016. Not the best of the worst.
So what are we going to do about it, other than bitch on a blog???
Ideas?

It must be something in the water in Egypt.
There was a prank show there that had piece in which someone would run up to someone standing by the street and drop a briefcase before running away.
Much hilarity ensued.

I would freak the hell out, but as long as the little girl didn't actually make any threatening moves, I'd probably just stand there frozen in horror. I don't think I'd actually SCREAM.
Which probably means that yes, I would, and I'm too proud to admit it.

This kind of reminds me of that show on TruTV, "Impractical Jokers." Some of the things they do on that show... I'm amazed they don't get arrested, beaten to a pulp, or shot.
When someone tries to tickle me, I tell them flat out, "I WILL flail around and probably break your nose, and I won't be even the slightest bit sorry. You're warned. Now stop." The same goes for stupid, STUPID pranks. "If you pretend to be a terrorist and you pretend to hold me or my family hostage, if you then die from being cracked over the back of the head by a cast iron frying pan wielded by me, I will not be the least bit sorry."
I hate pranks.

No, but these days you don't really need any basis for blaming something on somebody- just ask George W Bush.
In his defense at least Alan Funt had the good taste to include naked women in his elevator pranks.

the mothr of the two year old said, 'we should leave'
the Spouse said 'no, she will stop ',

She leaves and 2 huge, angry guys come around the corner, point, and yell, "There is is!"
They get up in the guy's face, literally inches away, and say it's their TV that was just stolen, press his back against the wall, etc. Then the girl peeks around the corner, the mark sees this and tries to get her help, and she ducks back - humor since she won't come out from hiding and the guys don't see her.
I saw that setup ending badly if any of the marks had a CCW. smh.

How did they know somebody wouldn't have just started beating the shit out of the girl, with every bit of adrenaline fueled strength they could muster, and with whatever weapon they could find? Two adult women could have killed her before anyone could intervene.
Add onto that the chances for heart attack and that is one freaking irresponsible show. The only way they'd ever avoid catastrophic liability is if the whole thing was faked and the suckers were knowing plants.
