21 One of the MFM campaign talking points will be that Obama has had the most "scandal-free, ethical" administration ever. The good news is that the average low-info voter isn't concerned with political scandals, (They all do it) but does know that the economy is circling the drain.

23 And even if they have to make it 80 seconds, they need to mention the number of whistleblowers and the amount of documentation we have, and something about the estimated number of dead. And that it was a deliberate act of war against a neighboring allied country, and that Watergate didn't have a body count.

Well, you see - the idea is, I make some meaningless announcement in support of gay marriage, and then I rake in the campaign cash "fast and furious" from the rich gay guys...

That is what you're talking about, right?

Posted by: O'bumbles at June 13, 2012 04:44 PM (LK3ef)

29 25 What was Fast and Furious supposed to accomplish? Posted by: Scobface at June 13, 2012 08:41 PM (IoNBC) The DOJ won't answer that question. Though, by sheer coincidence, they said beforehand that they wanted to use the number of guns going to Mexico to push more restrictive laws here, they said during the events that they were not bothered by Mexican deaths (per whistleblower testimony) (paraphrasing), and after they were caught they went ahead and tried to use their own corrupt program to push more restrictive laws. So, you know, connect the red flags.

34 Yeah, I get that a likely ulterior motive was using those guns to justify more restrictive gun legislation here. I meant to ask what was the official reason for the program. So if Merovign's right, nobody as yet knows? That's just bizarre.

59 The only rational answer to WTF in what were they doing in Fast and Furious is that they were attempting to set up a vicious scenario where evil American "assault rifles" (aka similar in appearance, but not in capability, to real military assault rifles) and other assorted weapons not really available to even US citizens over the gun store counter would appear in Mexico with tragic results.

These tragic results would be trumpeted by a fawning socialist state government press as showing that obviously the Founders didn't really know what was good for the children (especially Mexican children as it turns out) and that we needed to add many many "control features" to that old out of touch Second Amendment and get guns (preferably all of them) out of the hands of those irresponsible US citizens.

Oddly enough, according to Eric Holder, we can also believe that absoltuely no one in the US government, in any position of authority, had anything to do with this operation.  Its inherent truth and beauty were sufficient for it to materialize spontaneously and involve multiple US government agencies (DoJ, DoS, BATFE, DEA,and FBI) and their personnel in a magical way.

Guess who's the chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence?  A committee who's responsibilities also include oversight of various intelligence related aspects of the DOJ/FBI and Treasury/BATF.

Now try and convince me the committee chair, and one of the most anti-gun Senators to ever to walk the floors of congress wasn't briefed on this operation before it kicked off and while it was ongoing.

This kinda shit was right in DiFi's wheelhouse.  She'd be pissed off if she couldn't have a hand in it.  The briefings were probably unofficial and done while walking around the mall or something, but you just KNOW she was in the loop.

This coverup has its tentacles reaching into the very body task with investigating it.  Closed door deals will be made.  Congress doesn't want the stink of this to waft its way too - you can take that to the bank.

American guns kill people in Mexico... and the guns are traced back to the US... Liberals and RINOs are outraged... and somthing must be done... and since its an INTERNATIONAL issue, we Ratify the UN Small Arms Treaty.

The UN Small Arms Treaty calls for Limits on Civilian Gun ownership... and because of a typo in the Constitution, some believe that Ratified Treatys are CoEqual in power to the Consitutiton.... thus the 2nd amendment goes away.

This coverup has its tentacles reaching into the very body task with investigating it. Closed door deals will be made. Congress doesn't want the stink of this to waft its way too - you can take that to the bank.

Agreed! And these clowns would be all too happy to have Holder alone take the fall knowing Obammy would pardon him if charges are brought. Thus cut a deal, take the fall, resign and no charges?
Good reason right there for a presidential contender to spend some serious pac money educating the American public on these high crimes and misdemeanors! What would Palin do?
Expose the bastards and force the media to cover it. That was McCains biggest mistake, while he had the microphone, the publics attention, he treated the bastards with kid gloves. Gloves off Fast and Furious everyday, every swing and border state until the media and the Obama regime wants to crawl under a rock.

98 Just because something never happened doesn't mean that it isn't true.

99 Romeo, I'd always understood that treatys are defacto amendments to the Constitution.

100 You freaks are worse than Paultards with your conspiracy theories.

Obama has expanded federal gun carry laws twice.  Why the hell would he wait until a  possible second term to ban guns?  Why not the first term?

Fools.

101 This Fast and Furious scandal and coverup has the makings of something that did my namesake in, the Swiftboat Veterans keeled me, keehauled me and throwed me over board.
Gun Owners of America , the NRA, and Team Mitt could do the same to OblahBlah and Holder!

104 #105 - You're quoting Politico, pretty much word-for-word.

105 Is Obama paying off Calderone to be silent on Mexican Nationals being slaughtered, will the new Presidente need to be bought off too?

That will add to the conviction of the person I propose to use them on.

Thank you very much. I'll get them back to you, and explain any scuffmarks, stains, or interesting matter stuck in the treads.

Hey, it is not like it is Obama's money; it is YOUR and MY money being used by Obama for the good of the planet ( the UN involvement is just icing on the cake)!

109 I noticed a trend in both MFM and blogs that do not mention the murder of ICE Agent Jaime Zapata http://tinyurl.com/bvzomoc
Honestly, why is there a media & blog black out on "Jaime Zapata" and "missing guns" ?
