— DrewM Game on.
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has scheduled a vote for next week to consider holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress over the controversial Fast and Furious gun-tracking operation.Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., released a 64-page memo in early May outlining the case for holding the attorney general in contempt. The chairman based his argument around Holder's failure to respond to an October 2011 subpoena for internal Justice Department documents on the operation.
The committee's vote for contempt is scheduled for June 20.
Speaker Boehner tried to work out a deal to avoid this (some think because of a worry about a backlash over going after the first black Attorney General) but "Justice" didn't budge.
Will there be cries of "Racism"? Sure there always are. And it will likely help Obama on the margins with parts of his base.
On the other hand, being tough on Obama over Fast and Furious will energize parts of the GOP base as well. We will have one other thing going for us....we're in the right trying to get to the truth about how US law enforcement agents and hundreds of Mexicans were killed by the reckless and illegal acts of this administration.

"Kinder, Gentler HeatherRadish™"
Unintended consequences!
Can I still get original, prescription-strength HeatherRadish from behind the counter?

I would be moderately surprised if Boehner had anything to do with this. Boehner has no direct say on what the committees do.
> Oversight would not be moving forward with a contempt vote if House leadership opposed the move. But will leadership support having a full House vote?

Hmm, must'a been that other site.

What's your deal anyway? Maybe calling them out on their perceived wish washy ways was what impelled them to fish or cut bait?
There's lots of people read this blog that provide feedback to those that are mentioned.
What's in it for you if they show those of us up who doubted their aims pointing out how they looked?
I still have doubts and until Holder resigns or is in jail (preferably both) by the efforts of Issa and the House, my doubts will be valid. Won't they?
They've been at this for 2 years weft. How long does it take to prove that Holder is a lying liar when he claimed he didn't know who signed off on it? If true that meant he's incompetent. If false that meant he was lying. Either way they had enough evidence of whatever to throw a contempt charge at him. Why they didn't I guess we'll never know.
I hope they do cite him for contempt. It's the LEAST they should do. An indictment would be better. That they haven't until now shows a cynical view of the law and the positions they hold and the disrespect they have for the American people.
Holder and those involved in his Department aided and abetted murder. Here and in Mexico. That they weren't indicted or even cited until now is NOT to the credit of Issa and Boehner.

What they haven't learned is that Leni Riefenstahl is dead. People don't clamor to the movies anymore to spend $12/ticket + $6/popcorn +$5/soda and watch whatever people put on the screen. If they even smell propaganda, they won't bother. Hollywood learned this with their various anti-Iraq efforts.
Such films might be helpful if it provided liberals with arguments that would help them, but I don't think it will. Michael Moore didn't help them much in 2004

After Holder's last hearing on the Hill, they had no choice but to do this. He lied, he implicated WH and Axlerod, etc. etc.

Didn't Junior Buckley, Fat Fuck Frum, Creased Pants Brooks, and Peggy Drunk Before Noonan assure us that the SCOAMF was too super brilliant to govern as a leftist and would surely govern as a moderate?

One Bottle?!??! How on earth am I gonna cook up a decent amount of Crystal Heth with only one bottle?

Um, doubting? Calling people whom you never met 'pussies' and 'cowards' isn't doubt. It's being a conspicuous asshole. The Angry Conservative personas that people like to adopt is a tad old.
So, what's it it for me? Well, I'm just returning the bitter and stupid with a little of my own.

Doesn't mean they won't try it and the MBM will call it a MUST SEE movie that EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT !!
The MBM is already passing off as "no big deal" the scandal about leaking operational details to the producers of the film

That's the "preference cascade" in effect among Peggy's cocktail party comrades.
One good week for the SCOAMF and she'll be back to getting fooled

It's also going to finally force the MSM to stop studiously ignoring Fast & Furious.

Glad to help you get your rocks off. Are you done? Or do you have anymore stupid pointless snark to exude from one end or other of your alimentary canal?
From some of your word choices, I would guess that your political leanings are more blue than red which means a lot of what you say in your comments isn't any more the truth than what oZfic says but does.
If you had an ounce of conservatism in you, you'd be glad to see this happen and not worry about going see I told you so. But actually, in looking up your hash, I couldn't find too many defenses of Boehner or Issa so you saw what was said but didn't want to risk your credibility by countering it with any reasoning why they may be holding back? Sounds like you just want to zing a few "ultra Conservatives" to me.
We'll see how the vote, if they vote and how the House votes, if they vote. Keep in mind that Boehner is already on record to be willing to "compromise" with Holder. To let his lies and aid to murder go unpunished. Yeah that's the kind of man I want to emulate.

Wow; Thoughtful? If you think that's thoughtful, then, well you certainly don't measure up to average in the area of thought. He's never been moderate his entire career, and suddenly, when he no longer has to worry about having a broad appeal to voters he's going to lurch to the middle?
Hahahaha HAHAHAHA! I think the article you read was a parody or something.
