Hannity Interviews Brian Terry's Parents
— Ace

Usually genuine victims would encourage the media to take a look.

Usually the rule is "if it bleeds, it leads."

Usually the press is interested in massive, supposedly unauthorized covert operations to send armaments to bad actors (such as drug barons).

But of course the press is still in Palace Guard mode, so only people at FoxNews (and CBS' lone real reporter Sharyl Attkisson) are interested in their story.

For the rest of the media, Brian Terry is simply an UnPerson, one of those many eggs which must be broken for the omelet.

1 I watched this live and it enraged me and broke my heart.  As I told my husband, if Chinless Wonder got around to finally calling us after months had passed (which is the case), what I'd say to him could not be repeated.

5 How I wish we'd retire the word "closure."  With all due respect to the Terrys and everyone who's lost a loved one, in my mind there's no such thing.

Comfort in knowledge and acknowledgement, yes.  "Closure" of grief, no.

If our only child were to lose his life in Afghanistan, I will never feel "closure" just an empty hole in my heart.

Okay, everyone line up by network and or major market.

Now these buses will be taking you to a place called REALITY.

Remember that word people. It's where everyone else in the country has been living while you painted pretty pictures and slobbered over every word Obama managed to not mangle.

Like Abu Ghraib.  A scandal occurred under a Republican president.  So what happened?  The President demanded an investigation, and people did hard time in prison.

F&F did not need to hurt Obama, since I doubt he personally did anything wrong.  But since he's following bad advice, and being astoundingly heartless and tone-deaf in the process, it sure will hurt him politically.

88 Obama and Holder are reaping their arrogant stonewalling. Thinking they could lead Issa on and on because thanks to the legacy media the scandal wasn't gaining any national traction.

Little did they know that Mr. Issa has the patience of Job (Kudos to Sen. Grassley also) and has let Holder talk himself into a corner.

Now that that clock is down to 1:00 and their goal is at the further end of the field they find that have to try to call a time out or technical flag to keep from having this played out for reals.

Tough shitski. You've made your manure pile of a bed, now root around in it and get comfy because it's the only thing that'll be clinging to you for quite a while.
