"President Obama has removed so much of the cowboy image of America that has been imprinted in the mentality of Iraqis by Bush," Baghdad lawyer Raad Mehsin said.
But Carawan Ahmed, a high school teacher in Iraq's northern Kurdish capital of Irbil, said Obama has ignored the Kurdish minority, which continues to struggle against the Shiite-dominated government.
"When Democrats, including Obama, are in power, we lose the sympathy and support from America. To be frank, the Republicans protected the Kurdish people, while Obama's administration is not," Ahmed said.

1. Increase corporate taxes.
2. Expand mortgage refinancing programs.
3. Tax credits for green energy companies, and small businesses that hire people.
4. Create Veterens Job Corps.

This woman apparently didn't know that the 'white powder' substance was cocaine.....which is understandable. .....Thing is, now I guess our tampons will get searched by TSA at airports, or by entrance guards at govt buildings. ....Yuk!

There were a couple of girls in the apartment complex where I lived during my teens that used to torment their brother. They would soak tampons in water and then fling them by the string up to the ceiling above his door.
Then, they would pick a fight and he would storm off to his room and slam the door behind him.

Ol' Peggy was probably just cribbing off of Valerie Jarrett words.
From Newsbusters back in 2008:
The co-chair of Barack Obama's Transition Team, Valerie Jarrett, appeared on Meet the Press this weekend and used, shall we say, an interesting word to described what she thinks Barack Obama will be doing in January when he's officially sworn into office. She told Tom Brokaw that Obama will be ready to "rule" on day one. It's a word that reflects the worst fears that people have for Obama the "arrogant," the "messiah," that imagines he's here to "rule" instead of govern.

Obama's rock-star-like reception at Berlin's Victory Column in the summer of 2008
AN illegal act and pretty much the most repulsive thing an AMerican political campaign can do. Barky should have been arrested for this - and he still should. AMerican politicians are NOT ALLOWED to hold political rallies for foreigners or take any money or material help from foreigners for any AMERICAN political campaign.
Where the hell is that piece of shit McShame and his un-Constitutional campaign laws? That fucking coward should burn in hell.
was a high point of a wildly successful European campaign tour. The thawing of a harsh anti-Americanism that had thrived in Europe was as much a reaction to the Bush years as it was an embrace of the presidential hopeful.
So, now the AP admits that the Euroscum, who have lived off of America since WWII are a bunch of ingrates who hate our guts. This "thawing" the AP fantasizes about (though the article is about how it isn't really happening) just means that even the idiot lefties know that the Euroscum still hate the nation that saved them and even allowed France to have a joke of a 5th Republic (at some point you would think that France would just change the name of that joke of a nation).
Europe deserves, as their punishment, to be forced to take Barky and live under his "rule". Fuck 'em.

Barky drapes himself in rhetoric about what's "Fair"......and yet doles out Waivers to ObamaCare to a chosen few. ...That's just one example.
That's the hallmark of a totalitarian regime isn't it? ....Create laws that are so heinous, that even the loyal followers don't like them....so that they have to seek special favors of relief from them, thereby creating a way to keep them in the fold.

I've noticed that the spaces tend to disappear most often when you go back and delete/correct some text you have already written. For instance I put the space between disappear and most in the sentence before. I then went back and deleted the space and the "mo" from most and put it back in. Let's see if the space is there.

It was somehow fitting that I heard of Carroll Shelby's passing during the opening ceremonies of last night's Nationwide race. I posted a small tribute over at my blog out of respect for all he did to help FoMoCo compete agains Chevy.
And that ad for the minivan was aimed at guys IIRC. It's supposed to have some guy stuff in it. A nice concept, but the totally wrong platform. Now, if they put a functional blower sticking out of the hood, they might be on to something...

What pisses me off....is that we keep getting punished, for what the bad guys do. ....Or because of someone shirking their responsibilities, we get more regulations to contend with.
Because of the Tylenol tamperer...we got all sorts of 'tamper-proof' packaging that make it harder to gain access to products. ....Because some parent allowed their kid to get into the medicine cabinet....we have 'child-proof' caps on things.
Now....because of this 'Tampon-tampering', we will probably have to have a pair of bolt cutters to get the new wrappers off of our tampons.
And if we carry a couple in our purse......and try to go through Security:

Posted by: dagny at May 12, 2012 01:10 PM (JoL4S)
Yeah. ....ButI think that 'colonialism' is just a convenient cloaking device for hisracism and hatred toward "typical white people".
Beck blew the lid off Barky on his TV show this past Thursday. Remember Barky's poor, beleaguered grandfather who was a cook (aka slave) to the British in the Colonial days? Well, grandfather's wife said THAT'S NOT TRUE. In fact, he paid 12 cows as a dowry to marry her, so he was quite well to do.
So if Kenyan grandpappy really wasn't forced to be a slave to the Brit colonials, what was B.O.' reason for sending back the bust of Churchill? Will Dinesh D'Souza have to rethink his book?
GB even had quotes from Stanley Ann that put the lie to stuff Barky has claimed. There were 47 clips in that show, and each one was more stunning than the last.

Meanwhile, there would be lines of young, young kids lining up by the nurse's office at lunch to get really heavy duty drugs for the ADHD that every single boy seemed to have.

That's more totalitarianism for ya. I can remember when individuals were punished for crimes instead of the population at large. Case in point: in a 9th grade class, the whole class got punished for what one student did. As I was sitting there quietly, meekly, (and very stupidly) accepting that shit, I wondered what exactly I had done to warrant being punished.

141,131....BurtTC,
It's nice that you want to give Barky the benefit of doubt about his hatred towards white people. ....But the clues are there.
He championed Derek Bell's hate-whitey views, and taught classes about them. ....He worked solely as a Civil Rights attorney, shaking down companies/banks with accusations of 'racism'.....while sitting in a hate-whitey church for nearly 20 years.
His books are laced with his disdain for white people. ....He is married to a woman who majored in "How to see racism everywhere" in college. ....And he worked as an agitator for community organizers, whipping up racial tensions in order to motivate people on racial issues.
Perhaps you didn't know about these things....or have forgotten about them. ....But the clues are real, and they are there for all to see.

Burt, it takes two to tango but only one to force a war. Barky and his minions are going down the race road, whether you like it or not. They've been doing it since the beginning but it's going to get exponentially worse as the election approaches.
And being honest is never the wrong policy. What scares people are those would not stand up for themselves and the truth in the face of clearly underhanded, incorrect, and nasty attacks - as we have been getting, also, since Day One.
In an effort to avoid losing on an issue that most of America sees pretty clearly you make the loss that much more likely.

That's more sociopathic per se. A true NPD personality can well trick themselves into believe they're doing good, indeed the only one who's doing good. It's part of the package they sell themselves about how truly wonderful and great they are. Which is why progressivism/socialism is such a draw to him -- the idea of "doing right" but the liberty of being as petty and malicious as he pleases in the process. And if only everybody else were "doing it right" (i.e. his way) they wouldn't be targets, so it's their fault.
Posted by: sistrum at May 12, 2012 10:48 AM (AyryN)
A dead short usually causes them to flat out explode...violently. The "slower" fires happen when one is damaged and has a small air leak.
The LiPo's I've seen disassembled have HUGE internal reaction surface area and are capable of dumping instantaneous short circuit amperage in the range of 1000+ amps.
