— Open Blogger You guys remember former Politico Reporter Joe Williams. He got suspended from Politico(and was subsequently fired) for making these comments:
Well it turns out that aside from being a subpar reporter and race baiter, his other hobbies include fishing, cross-stitch, Sodoku and pummeling his ex-wife.
From John Nolte at Breitbart.
Betsy Rothstein at FishbowlDC is reporting that Joe Williams, the Politico White House Correspondent who parted ways with the left-wing outlet last week, is guilty of assaulting his ex-wife, author Amy Alexander. Just a few months ago, in May, Williams plead guilty to second degree assault, was fined $200, and given six months probation.
He blamed the "right wing noise" machine for his suspension from Politico. I wonder if he used that line in court when the judge gave him six months probation.
[Update] Politico isn't going to weigh in on this issue.

In the course of trying to urge such order, that fellow whined that an Army of Davids was being rallied against him, probably both confusing and amusing the judge.
Apparently, when you have a real judge they don't put up with his bullshit.
Probably helped that Aaron had a lawyer this time, too.

It seems like only yesterday that Jon Corzine was the life of the party, holding court on the Hamptons political circuit, raising money for Barack Obama.
Now, Corzine — just months removed from a humiliating financial scandal — is persona non grata in the tony playground of the rich, and it’s clearly taking its toll, insiders said.

Another post about that piss-yellow coward, John Roberts.
This time, Thomas Sowell weighs in:
"But what does the Bill of Rights seek to protect the ordinary citizen from? The government! To defer to those who expand government power beyond its constitutional limits is to betray those whose freedom depends on the Bill of Rights."
I'll keep saying this until it gets through: What makes the Roberts Ruling so evil is when he says, "You have your rights but, you do not have the right to refuse the tax on your rights."
That one line discards the ENTIRE Constitution. Amendments I through X mean NOTHING after Roberts anointed the federal government our king and sovereign by blessing their power to tax any and everything--even when he admits the rest of the Constitution says to do so would be unconstitutional.
PS: Don't bother calling yourself a conservative if you haven't read The Vision of the Anointed. In fact, that should be a litmus test for all Republicans who run for office. If you haven't read it and can't quote at least one point from it, you don't deserve to be elected. It perfectly distills to complete evil and mendacity of liberal social, political and economic policy of the last 50 years.

I remember having political arguments at a couple of German pubs when I was living there in the 70's. The marxism is strong in Europe. And people who think that prejudice against Jews is a thing of the past is just deluding themselves. It's a strong current just under the friendly-German surface.
I think it was Germany where I unconsiously started turning into hardcore conservative. Socialist arguments are weak, and eventually turn vicious.

When someone has decided to accept collectivism. Forever will it dominate their destiny. Once you surrender your identity to the collective there is no getting it back unless you have a fundamental philosophical realignment. The only chance you have to reach such folks, is if they still have a faith in God (Something socialism has to eventually destroy) you can start with the simple premise, "Why did God make humans individuals instead of making them like ants? Did he screw up or intend for us to go through life fighting our individuality?"
Most of the turncoats we get from liberalism are folks who deluded themselves into believing liberalism wasn't collectivism; that at the fundamental level people would still be individuals and guide their own destiny. Once they are faced with the bitter reality of liberalism they either at that point accept it and join the dark side*, or reject it and become conservative.
* That entails making peace with the FACT that those who will not be collectivist need to be imprisoned and/or killed in order for utopian society to function correctly. I remember that about every socialist I meet, no matter how nice they may seem. This guy has made peace with killing me if I won't give up my freedom.

Where the fuck in Germany did you find something friendly? I found the Krauts to be pricks and assholes, with few exceptions. I had the thought while there of "Too bad the war ended before we could introduce the Fadderland to the Fat Man".
Fucking rude, unhelpful, arrogant fucks.

My wife was actually almost run off the road in 2008 because of her McCain/Palin sticker.
I conceal carry, so I am actually waiting for the same to happen to me sometime. She gets to have all the fun.
I actually have my anti-Obama stickers on my car with magnets. I use the kind intended for business cards that adhesive on one side

I don't know, I watched that clip. Not a one of those white people on tv with him challenged him on that point. I think he's right... the white people he knows are not too comfortable around black people, they'll let a black man get away with the worst comments.
Maybe he's jealous, maybe he WISHES he could get on Fox News as often as Romney, after all black men are known to be called out on their b.s. there. Maybe he's tired of being around such wusses.

Every time I see a "Coexist" or "Tolerance" bumper sticker I want to
slam into the back of the car repetedly.
Yeah, I have immense amounts of fun with people who smugly tell me how tolerant they are. I generally smile back and say, as sweetly as possible, "I'm a Republican". Oh the fun that ensues. Well, it's fun for me but then again I like poking things with sticks.

Also remember that when leftists talk of tolerance (toward gays, for example), what they actually mean is acceptance.

Or, as here in California's schools, advocacy.

just like the moon
thou art variable,
always dost thou
wax and wane.
Detestable life,
first dost thou mistreat us,
and then, whimsically,
thou heedest our desires.
As the sun melts the ice,
so dost thou dissolve
both poverty and power.
Monstrous
and empty fate,
thou, turning wheel,
art mean,
voiding
good health at thy will.
Veiled
in obscurity,
thou dost attack
me also.
To thy cruel pleasure
I bare my back.
Thou dost withdraw
my health and virtue;
thou dost threaten
my emotion
and weakness
with torture.
At this hour,
therefore, let us
pluck the strings without
delay.
Let us mourn together,
for fate crushes the brave.

Maybe this time he'll blame Booooosh!

"Mitt Romney's Electoral College Advantage"
Why the GOP nominee has a slight edge in the one poll that counts Suppose that this NovemberÂ’s presidential election is so close that one candidate wins the popular vote and the other wins the Electoral College (and thus the election).
