— Ace US Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich claimed in a response to Congress that the DoJ never permitted assault weapons to be walked into Mexico. This letter was "retracted."
On Feb. 4, 2011, Weich wrote to Congress that the idea that “ATF ‘sanctioned’ or otherwise knowingly allowed the sale of assault weapons to a straw purchaser who then transported them into Mexico … is false.”“ATF makes every effort to interdict weapons that have been purchased illegally and prevent their transportation to Mexico,” Weich added in that letter.
The DOJ has since retracted WeichÂ’s letter but has not held anyone accountable for providing that misinformation to Congress, or for Operation Fast and Furious itself.
Now he'll be resigning.
That's not the only scandal he's covering DoJ on. The Daily Caller has recently reported on a bribery scandal in the Virgin Islands, with the Governor taking up to $20 million in bribes for favors. Weich's claiming DoJ doesn't know anything about that, either -- despite the fact that...
...TheDCÂ’s investigation unearthed allegations that two DOJ prosecutors on a team of more than 25 accepted cash bribes from indicted finance executives in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Up to seven DoJ prosecutors may be implicated in bribery.
And the DoJ doesn't know about it?

First off, holy moly, Ace is up early!
Secondly,
Up to seven DoJ prosecutors may be implicated in bribery.
And the DoJ doesn't know about it?
So here's a question. The FBI and whatnot has been able to, apparently, gather evidence that seems to indict Mickey Loomis of the New Orleans Saints in wiretapping at the Super Dome back before Katrina. Yet the DOJ has no idea that its own people are being implicated in bribery schemes in the Virgin Islands? They can fadiddle around with the former, but don't really see it as worthwhile to keep track of the latter?
Of course, according to Holder he doesn't even know about things that have been specifically addressed to him, ala F&F memos and emails. So to say I'm not shocked by this is an understatement.

Hey, did you know we're coming up on the one year anniversary of Bin Laden's death? Cuz we are! Isn't it great that Obama killed Bin Laden? 51 Barky isn't a complete failure.... He has succeeded in turning this into a 3rd world country.
When it is pointed out that Obama is a failure, it is alluding to his failure at what he is SUPPOSED to do as POTUS, not what he WANTS to do.
He has failed tp represent all the citizens of the USA as their President.
He has failed to uphold his oath of office.
He has failed to have the USA's best interests in mind.
He has failed to not eat a dog.

The Obama adminstration has brought to the entire US Government the high ethical standards and governance best practices of outstanding Democratic adminstrations in regions noted for being vibrant economic and social success stories, like Chicago, Detroit, and Philadelphia.
Translation: Obama wants to use his expertise in organizing metropolitan-scale shitholes to create a nation-scale shithole that he can community organize, since governing within the constraints of the Constitution is an unwarranted burden on such a gifted genius.

My name is XXX. I am a 2009 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law.
I am writing you in protest of Ronald Weich's appointment as dean of UB Law. Mr. Weich was made to resign his position as Assistant Attorney General in what should have been shame, though I'm sure he felt none personally. Mr. Weich's involvement in Operation Fast and Furious and the ensuing coverup demonstrate that he is a man of both poor judgment and deficient morals. His actions and the actions of others that he attempted to cover up have resulted in the deaths of two Americans, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and ICE Agent Jaime Zapata, as well as the deaths of hundreds of Mexican civilians. He attempted a bald-faced lie to Congress in his now infamous letter of February 4, 2011 to Sen. Grassley. I find his proven status as a liar to be especially damaging to the reputation of UB Law and the legal profession, as well as personally insulting.
His appointment to the position of dean brings shame on UB Law and the University of Maryland system. In addition, the obvious golden-parachute nature of this appointment coming so soon after Mr. Weich's resignation adds a taint to the school.
I request that Mr. Weich's appointment to dean be rescinded.
Sincerely,
