— Ace Shockingly enough, it actually delivered a few laughs for once.
I didn't watch it on Saturday. I never even remember anymore. It's virtually unwatchable.
Which makes this news.
Two good bits, a fake commercial, and a Mitt Romney impression that cracks me up.

Some of their stuff is funny even now. I get the feeling that Seth Meyers might be able to be pulled over to the dark side, but he's got to earn a living, and he can't do that if he goes too far off of the reservation.
Their recent "Real Housewives of Disney" was hilarious:

But why the hell can't they do anything like that with the SCOAMF? The fact that they refuse whilst also rolling out the anti-GOP stuff is contemptible.

I think they'll pass it up, or they'll do something about how stupid Republicans are for caring about "clang."
But even if they take a shot at Obama, it will have taken them more than three years, which is ludicrous!

So SNL begins the political war in earnest. Who could've guessed it? Right out of the box, Romney is defined as The Panderer and not to be believed. As opposed to SCoaMF who panders more than he governs and actually has a compelling, proven record of lying.
Is it any wonder why I've skipped SNL for years?

We also rip on Obama every day. We're the South Park of the political realm. Everyone gets multiple turns in the barrel.
SNL on the other hand is still under the impression that not finding anything critical/funny about SCoaMF buttresses their legitimacy as social commentators as well as keeping them edgy. They're "edgy" alright. Just like "Clown Nose On-Off" Stewart.

Romney is almost impossible to satirize because Romney's defining characteristic is that he's normal. He looks like a normal person, he sounds like a normal person, he acts like a normal person. (Sure, he may wear Mormon Jesus Underpants or whatever, but that's not on public display.)
As far as I've seen, he has no speech quirks or characteristic turns of phrase. The liberal comedians will basically have to create a fictional character called "Mitt Romney" and force everyone to recognize it.

The Romney skit..... You know, the very same thing could be done with the SCoaMF. He repeats himself, over and over. ....That voice from the audience yelling "We don't believe youuu!" would work for him as well.
Never before, in the history of tv comedians, has so much fertile ground for comedy been overlooked.....intentionally....as has been overlooked since the JEF took office. ....It's really sickening.
