— Ace A bomb detonated on a bus, killing Israeli tourists.
The Israeli premier noted that Wednesday's attack followed similar attacks or attempted attacks in India, Georgia, Thailand and Kenya and Cyprus in recent months. He said that once again, "all signs point to Iran," though he did not offer any evidence to back up the claim."This is an Iranian terror attack that is spreading across the world," Netanyahu said. "Israel will react strongly to Iran's terror."
I am really starting to think no one's ever going to take military action against Iran, not Israel and certainly not Barack Hussein Obama.

More pressure on Bibi and his coalition which may be headed for a snap election. Not sure 100%, but caught something on the radio about the possibilities of elections soon.

@2: It's the anniversary of a previous Iranian attack. The only thing that gets Islamists harder than goats is terror anniversaries, for some reason.

Someone will, at some point, the question is: how many dead before it happens? I don't see the world sitting by after Israel and Saudi are nuked.

Short answer: Because they have a lot of recent history of attempting or making similar attacks. Either Iran directly or Iranian client Hezbollah.

Maybe so, but I think the difference between having an American President telling you he will support whatever decision you make, and having one tell you that you'll be twisting in the wind by yourself is the difference between a response occurring minutes later, and days/weeks/months later.

And they get to thumb their noses at a weak America. Which encourages America's enemies to evade sanctions and shit that they know won't be backed up.
It lets terrorist leaders report successes so the masterminds can collect fat cash and go spend the weekend in Monaco or Vegas with hoors and cocaine.
Barack Obama has declared open season on Israel and every semi-sane Middle Eastern government and surrendered in two wars.
And he's just getting warmed up.
He'll soon have "more flexibility" if the smacktards reelect the SCOAMF.

Ok, thanks for the replies. I guess I wasn't being very respectful, given the situation, but my immediate assumption was that there was no good reason for tourists to be there. I see that I was wrong.

Why would Iran do this?
Iran's power increases during times of Civil unrest. They have non military units (Hezzbolah types) in many countries, supporting power grabs.
They also realize that Russia, and China, will NOT back any military action against them... so.... chaos favors them.
Endgame? Israel attacks... Iran plays innocent and releases unconventional warfare... Iraqs government falls apart... Egypt sides with Iran... Hez and Hamas side with Iran... Afganistan blows up... Saudis initialy side with America, right up until they see how spineless Obama is, then they cave...
America withdraws from the Mideast... Western economies, which are on the brink in Europe fail (oil problems)... Americas economic depresion continues... and Iran lasts it out... gaining power and humbling the Great and Little Satans...

What action did the US take against Iran when we determined they were fueling the insurgency in Iraq, providing intelligence for our adversaries, and equipping them with reengineered IEDs? How about when they were ruthlessly gunning down protesters, thereby providing a framework for the Syrians to quell their own rebellion?
Good old appeasement--it never fails!

"The letters my colleagues and I sent on June 13 to the Inspectors General of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the Department of State – and the follow up letter I wrote to Rep. Ellison on July 13 – are unfortunately being distorted. "

Is this guy a republican? Cause he never seems to help the team out. Last night I read a bunch of articles where he was asked about his choice of Sarah Palin for VP instead of romney and he essentially said she was the best man for the job but sort of insulted romney in the process.
So maybe it's in meggy's genes...
