Have you guys seen this show? It's a paranormal thriller from Oren Peli, the guy behind Paranormal Activity. It's also a Steven Spielberg project. Good show. I saw the premiere. Bruce Greenwood--Captain Pike from the last Trek movie--plays a wildlife show host and father, Dr. Emmet Cole, who has disappeared in the jungle while filming his show. His family and some videographers set out to find him. The thing is, while searching for Dr. Cole, they're also filming a new show.
Dr. Cole left behind clues in the form of raw video that his family found on his boat after a long search in the premiere.
It's cool. Paranormal stuff. Monsters. Ghosts. Lots of tension and scary moments. Cool characters. Smart writing. Can't ask for much more than that.

Occutards are dropped into the Amazon, on a leaky boat, armed only with drums and flutes.
Rape, assault, starvation amongst themselves and hilarity would ensue.

Obama loses the election. Lefties collectively lose their shit. They go on hippie retreats in the jungle and divorce themselves from reality. A courageous conservative volunteer offers to bravely track them down and bring them back to sanity, until he has some sense talked into him.
The End

Star Trek TV reboot: whoever it was who played Simon Tam from "Firefly". Problem is that the actor is gay to the point of not really being able to hide it on screen and Pike, based on what we know of him from "The Cage", was not gay.

I've been catching the episodes on OnDemand.....since I kinda hate ABC and don't watch that channel. ....So I didn't catch tonight's episode.
.....
The hired gun security guy is an interesting character. He seems to be working for someone else, whoever he was talking to on the phone. ....And he seems to know what "the source" is.
.....
Seems to be something going on with the blue dragonflies. They swarmed the search party when they first headed up the tributary that they've been going up. ....And then there was that one that flew into the mouth of the girl, which immediately seemed to be posessed with the spirit of Dr. Emmet Cole.
.....
So far, it's not too bad. I'll probably keep watching.

Had to shut it down. Could not take anymore of that paranormal tension.
