Jim Moran's Son, Pat "Hardcore" Moran, Resigns
— Ace

Apparently no one ever told him that illegal voting was illegal.

Since Pat Moran was never told illegal voting was illegal, and fraudulent voting was fraudulent, has Jim Moran now so instructed the other workers in the office he shares with Obama's OFA and Kaine for Senate?

Oh, Jonah Goldberg just pointed out: Pat Moran is/was his dad's Field Director. The guy in charge of getting out the vote.

42 How is some b@stard forging votes that effectively cancel my right of suffrage any different from a gun-toting hooded KKKlansman, waving a noose outside a voting place to scare black people away? In both cases they are striking at the heart of the PEACEFUL process of choosing our leadership, by making our right to vote meaningless. This is of course an old story in the 3d World, where gun-toting men frequently render votes meaningless. And in all these cases, they deserve the same fate: a bullet in the head. That goes TRIPLE for the execrable Pat Moran. He has rejected the path of the (honest) ballot...therefore the voters of Virginia have no effective recourse but the bullet. Let's not confront Ogabe, or Holder, or any other D-Rat with this case, of course not.

Wisconsin One Now and other progressive organizations claimed that the billboards, which simply read, Voter Fraud is a Felony were intimidating to certain voters and discouraged them from voting.  Nevermind that the billboards were all over, in every kind of neighborhood.

I guess signs that say "Shoplifters will be prosecuted" or "Don't text and drive" are also intimidating.  It's a wonder these oppressed people can even breathe what with all the oppression and all.

105 The Liberty and Freedom Foundation SLEAZE PEDDLER GLORIA ALLRED MET WITH OBAMA TWO WEEKS BEFORE TRYING TO RELEASE HER "OCTOBER SURPRISE" = The depths of slime and gutter politics that the Barack Obama campaign is sinking to really hit an all time low. Today it was revealed that sleaze peddler Gloria Allred, who is trying to dig up dirt on Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney in order to assist Barack H. Obama win re-election, actually met with Obama two weeks ago in what appears now to be a coordinated effort between Obama and Allred to alter the election with some salacious charge, because Obama has failed everywhere else and can't run on his record. The snake oil saleswoman Allred is trying to unseal the divorce transcripts of an ex partner of Romney's because the wife in that divorce can't pay her $5,200 a month rent, as if that was news. This after Romney turned down a chance to run with a story about Obama's cocaine usages and potential dealing. AMAZING.

It was part of a scheme to steal an election in eastern Arkansas that included absentee ballot fraud and buying votes with money, food and even alcohol.

"I guess I always knew all along it was wrong, but I really didn't think it was that big a deal," explained former Democratic state Rep. Hudson Hallum. "I always heard ... that's what everybody did."

Found this while looking for a post from Reuters UK ____________ CAIRO (AP) -- BY SARAH EL DEEB, Associated Press An Egyptian security official says a local militant suspected of involvement in the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya has been killed in clashes in Cairo. The official says the man, known only by his first name, Hazem, recently returned from Libya. The official, who spoke Wednesday on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief reporters, said an investigation into the man's possible involvement in the attack is under way. This is the first time an Egyptian has been declared as a suspect in the attack on the Benghazi consulate last month, when the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans were killed. The official said the suspect attacked approaching Egyptian forces and was killed. He kept weapons in his hideout, the official said.

This afternoon, I was strolling into the reception area of my office, and overheard a conversation between the receptionist and a secretary. The receptionist, a sweet older lady, was in full rant mode...the firm has just handed out the benefits package for 2013. Health insurance rates are at least doubling (depending on which plan you choose). I walked over, shook my head, and just said  "blame that Obamacare". The receptionist (who happens to be black) narrowed her eyes, looked at me and said "you just can't trust these politicians". I said that there's one chance to fix it, in 13 days. Neither woman answered but boy, they looked mutinous.

195 It's impossible to ignore these Ohio early turn-out numbers. The Asbentee ballot gap has been severly closed and the early voter numbers are much closer thsi time than in 2008 in Ohio. It's nearly impossible to imagine the Democrats somehow turning this around on election day and closing the gap the GOP had in Ohio on just that day. At the VERY least, this state will be within 2 points and it's starting to look more and more Romney.

Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.

You have to stay at the seat at the table of democracy with a man like Barack Obama not just on Tuesday but in a year from now, in four years from now, in eights years from now, you will have to be engaged.

She was, of course, correct.

Now, thanks to Barack Hussein Obama, more people than ever before are engaged, informed, and involved.   The goal being to kick his scrawny ass out of office.

That NYT article is hilarious. It reeks of getting the excuses for losing in first.

Basically:
(a) It's all Clinton's fault
(b) Romney is a LIIAAARRRR!!!
(c) Obama was just the poor little virtuous innocent who trusted Clinton and Romney to do the right thing by him.

They are our enemies in the truest sense. They should rot in prison for what they've done. This isn't even the action of a socialist anymore. This is pure evil and willful destruction of our people. I'm so sick to my stomach.

396 The fact that it appears that the only way to get positive polling for Obama is to both use a high D sample (34-40D) and also flog the 'early voting' metric (which is, obviously totally unprovable) and claim he's ahead there, means that Romney is doing fine, just fine in Ohio, and very likely Michigan and possibly even Pennsylvania too. I'm actually impressed at the little tricks pollsters are finding to show that Obama is ahead by 5 points or whatever. Hilarious stuff, but not a cause for concern in Camp R.

According to him, David Petraeus is made of solid gold: a great leader and patriot. I trust my friend's judgement. I cannot envision a scenario where Petraeus would sell out his country and his principles for the sake of any political gain, ever. Whatever he did (or didn't do) as this Benghazi mess played out, he did for the sake of the country.

470 @475 if anything, i'm concerned that some people are disengaged enough to keep throwing money at that sinking ship that made the acorn video three years ago. o'keefe is precisely the type of self-important pseudo-celebrity that conservatives are supposed to dislike...asking for donations so that others can fund his sitting on his butt without a real job in order to release increasingly irrelevant exposés...like this BIG HIT about some other self-important, mid-20's nobody without a real job who got caught on tape...GASP...telling a stooge that utility bills are easier to forge than bank statements. ~.~ considering there was 120% turnout in madison during the WI recall, this little nothing is simply NOT A BIG DEAL, sry...and certainly not the "most important proof of voter fraud in the history of EVAR", like o'keefe claimed it was before the tape started rolling. i doubt i'm the only one who was disappointed. -.- neway, we can expect there to be *FAR* more serious coordinated efforts to steal the election that dems surely know obama has no chance to win legitimately at this point...and they clearly have the machinery in place in important battleground states like WI. so yeah, i AM concerned that people might buy into the idea that this kind of weak sauce is what we need to be worried about...but i'm pretty sure you accusing anyone else of "trolling" is about as empty at the impact this video is going to have nationally. @478 ...if you could get my cock out of your mouth for half a moment and rub those two brain cells together REALLY hard, maybe you'd be able to understand what...nah, who am i kidding, lol? whatevs! if a jobless nobody almost-maybe breaking the law on tape is a Big Win in your book, it's no wonder you totes act like a lewzar with nothing better going on than repeatedly slobbering all over the dick of someone you hate on the internet. :3 sorta glad, tho -- just changed my diet and been worried about the juice! seeing as you can't take my peter out of your mouth for even a single second, i guess it's tasting just great! whee~eew! xD

471 Posted by: jimi ray at October 24, 2012 08:40 PM (79EF9) Gee, Jimi. You sound awfully jealous. Even if what he's doing could be called working around the fringes, O'Keefe is trying to do something positive. You, not so much. Yah. 30 minutes of amatureish entrapment. That Moran fell for. Don't know 'bout you, but it seems to me in my overly simple mind that Moran the Younger won't be engaging in any more shenanigans like that this election cycle, ne c'est-pas? Please to excuse if I place the score at +1 for O'Keefe.

473 Posted by: jimi ray at October 24, 2012 09:31 PM (79EF9) Don't understand why you're slamming O'Keefe. He's nervy, imaginative and brave and what investigative reporters used to be before they were suborned by ideology and proximity to power.

476 A friend of mine tried for the Republican nomination in Moran's district a few cycles back. He didn't get it and the female insider did with party backing. She was subsequently trounced, of course. Moran is in a district that gives him more job security than a D.C public school teacher with tenure and I would bet he is reelected again this time. Only two ways he is ever going: In handcuffs or a serious threat of them, or on a gurney.
