— Ace Reginald Bours, Attorney to the Stars, doing some fine work.
Also doing some fine work -- Judge Rupp.
Kimberlin made a number of statements, but his basic argument boiled down to Walker wanted to encourage people to blog about Kimberlin to incite others to harass him and send him death threats. As evidence, Kimberlin again had pages of Twitter feeds and blog posts. This time, though, Judge Rupp did something extraordinary that Judge Vaughey did not. He actually looked at the evidence Kimberlin presented. After looking at them, Rupp declared, “I see nothing in here that threatens you personally.”
Kimberlin maintained that Walker was harassing him and engaging in cyberstalking.
Bours questioned Kimberlin regarding the Maryland stalking statute:
Bours: Has Mr. Walker been anywhere near you, except court, since April 19? Has he followed you in a public place?
Kimberlin: No.
Bours: Has he threatened you?
Kimberlin: Not directly.
Then Bours asked Kimberlin about Walker’s recent “swatting” experience, in which someone posing as Walker called the police saying that Walker had shot his wife (see here.) Specifically, Bours asked Kimberlin if he’d had anything to do with it or was aware of anyone who did.
That definitely got under Kimberlin’s skin. His voice rose in anger as he denounced the implication as a “despicable smear.”
Hit that first link to find another judge shutting down a blogger over phony "harassment" claims. A Massachusetts woman was involved in a hit-and-run; she seems to have been given very lenient treatment, and the suspicion is she was given lenient treatment because she's the daughter of a top corrections official.
A blogger blogged about this, and the hit-and-run woman claimed the same phony "harassment" that Kimberlin did.

Kimberlin: Not directly.
This is the kind of evasive answer that gets my kids in all kinds of trouble. It's childish and sullen.
And precisely what I'd expect from BK.

Ace --- most excellent news.
Thank you for staying on this and for effecting change.
New Media is the catalyst in our present fix of progressives out of control, less I repeat myself.

The MA case is just as bad, if not worse, since that judge required that all prior postings to be removed. Yeah, that's a really great way to make it look like nothing fishy is going on, yuppers.

you know something that has bugged me about this whole shebang?
the lack of integrity of aarons and spouses empoyers.

"Mr. York, were you in any way involved with the SWATting of Mr. John Doe?"
"No. I had nothing to do with that. It's unfortunate that it happened, but I have no knowledge of the SWATting other than what's been made public."
or...
"That's a despicable smear!"
One of those answer is an honest one. The other is subtext for "You have no right to accuse me of something you can't prove!"
Seriously, it was just a question, not an accusation. Kimberlin treats it as an accusation. That says a lot right there.

Amazing how a competant judge can make a difference.
And note how in the Mass. case, everyone is saying the judge is wrong, wrong, wrong.
Looks like an appeal would certainly overturn that ruling.
