He'll cut his tongue licking the can top like that.

The cat I used to have would jump up on the table after holiday dinners and stick her face in wine glasses. The ones we used for every day were way to small for her, but the ones for holidays had wider bowls. She once found my grandfathers, which was mostly still full, and was happily lapping up red wine.

15 At parties, my dog would pretend to drink beer by laping the inside of the cup, but above the beer level. She just wanted to be part of the party. In hindsight, I wish I had gotten her her own beer cup and put in something dogs like, and let her party, too.

We had a Siamese who would go all cougar-y when shown a picture of a siamese cat (that happened to be on a card).  It was a black and white pen and ink drawing of a Siamese, not even a photograph, although it did have blue eyes.  She's flatten her ears and start her cougar growl whenever she saw that picture.  Hysterical.

I had a dog that loved champagne, and after slurping her ounce or so on NYE would pass out in front of the fireplace.

Come to think of it, shouldn't my cat want the champagne and the dog want the beer?

99 Speaking of football food, anyone know the definition of "hot ham" in the context of sandwich meats? Is it "hot" as in spicy or as in "made to be heated up and served" or "buy iy hot, eat it hot". The hot ham grinders at the one place in MA where I'd get them used scicy ham, but I get a feeling there's a different interpretation. This only occurs to me because of this soothsayer-worthy Tweet I just saw from WI Gov. Scott Walker.

Governor Walker   Went to deli to get some hot ham and cheese for lunch and game.

101 I'm pulling for the Texans.  It would be a shame to waste such an epic defensive performance.  It would be a shame to reward Flacco for such a no-hearted, Jeff George-like performance.  But most of all, it would be a shame if the Pats had to contend with the Ravens rather than the Texans.

112 Go Texans, although I think Brady will likely put up 40+ on them too.  But they would be fun to root for in the super bowl.

I think Rogers is probably going to try to match Brady from yesterday, the Giants still have a Manning on their side, plus the coach's son on the Packers will be a distraction.

The hot ham grinders at the one place in MA where I'd get them used scicy ham, but I get a feeling there's a different interpretation.

The grinders are probably made with capicola, which can very from hot to fire breathing hot. The wiki article has nothing to do with the stuff you buy in an American deli, and I live in wop-land.

It's basically a good quality ham covered with powdered red pepper. It's great sliced thin, especially in combination with other cold cuts. Wonderful in hoagies.
