Liberal Group: This Election Is Entirely About Race (And Religion)
— Ace

There is no other fair way to read it.

The group calls itself, portentously, The Message.

Their message is racial discord.

According to a news release, The Message said it plans to use videos to "say things that Democrats are afraid to say, connect with young voters-many of whom are alienated by today's political climate, and give smart and insightful voices an opportunity to contribute to the debate."

84 #38--I think it was George Romney, Mitt's father, who pushed for re-introducing black priesthood in the Mormon church. (Interestingly, the Mormons originally accepted black priests. They were driven from Missouri in part because they opposed slavery. It was Brigham Young who later decided that blacks bore the mark of Cain). The elder Romney had a great civil rights record, and was praised by MLK jr. For some reason, Mitt doesn't talk about it. By the way, Harry Reid CONVERTED to Mormonism in the early 60's, about 15 years before the ban on black priests was lifted. If we were smart, we'd hang that around his neck.

94 Of course it is all about race (and sex and sexual orientation and gender and stuff) but it is mostly about race. You see, anglo-normative whites are all oppressors. My professors taught me that whites are all sub-human "snow people." Before whites came, all of the Americas, Africa, and Asia were a happy place. They had flowery meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the children danced and laughed and played with gumdrop smiles. All the problems are because of neo-colonialism and anglo-normative values which oppress them. Romney is white and therefore racist. Worse, he doesn't even aknowledge this and beg for forgiveness by persons of color! And he doesn't even worship Gaia!!!1! We just need to destroy anglo-normative oppression and all the "sun people" will live in a Gaia-reverent utopia of non-hierarchical communities with free arugala for everyone! NO JUSTISE!!1! 104 This tactic may not work as well on the young voters as they think. I have 2 (white) daughters in their early 20s that used to come home complaining about the preferential treatment minorities would get when they were in high school. The old white liberals with the guilt complex might buy this but the young have seen this crap in action. The young may be trained to say the right thing but in the voting booth that may change.

Herman Cain is a great choice.  Col West is a great choice.  Condi Rice is a great choice.  Same with Adrien Fenty, from wiki:  "Though Fenty won the Republican mayoral primary as a write-in candidate, he declined the Republican nomination and said he would likely not seek elected office again."  http://tinyurl.com/7rs9oy  Fenty has worked for dems but he leans more independent and I think he doesn't realize he's more republican.  He did phenomenal things in DC, phenomenal.
Fenty is very similar to romney, they'd would get along like two peas in a pod.
