— andy 9pm Eastern on NBC. The GOP thought we still had Monday Night Football going on, but they're so inept that even the attempt at boneheaded counter-programming failed.
Here's an exclusive preview of the frontrunners' opening statements:

Of those 84 ethics charges that were brought (by the democrats) 83 of them were dismissed for stupidity and the last one was left to be decided by the IRS which found him not guilty, he was fined $300,000 for shits and giggles because it cost money for the hearings.
I wouldn't believe much of charges that were brought up by left wing morons to begin with and the 84th charge about paperwork and tax exemption issues was left to the IRS and was nothing.
Big whoop!

Then the president can sit back, say it's not him saying this, it's their peers, their own party and he wouldn't bring it up, cause he's a nice guy, he won't behave like this, but, since they gave him the material he felt the American people should see it.
Newt did the right thing and romney wouldn't let him drop it. You know people aren't going to like romney for that, he's picking a fight.

If Gingrich does win [the nomination], veteran GOP strategists tell CNN to expect pressure on Senate Minority Leaders Mitch McConnell, House Speaker John Boehner and other Republican leaders to call key GOP donors and ask them not to contribute to Gingrich's campaign.
But remember kids, the idea of an entrenched Republican elite is silly.

I guess I'm confused which part of this, people think Newt cant do. Deuche and turd accurately described Bush vs Kerry if you weren't into war or social issues.
Newt and Mitt are both more conservative and more competent better then Obama and Bush. (excepting only Bush's religious conservatism)

Romney and Newt are both more conservative then Bush on those matters. So you should definitely be happy to the have the most conservative party leader we have had since at least H.W. Bush and in many ways probably since Reagan.
Don't let the radical conservatives and leftist trolls trick you into thinking we are left with naught but choosing John Kerry vs Juan McCain here.

Maybe we conservatives can do like the left does and learn to let them lie like when Obama says he is against gay marriage and then does the wink nod and we all go on about our business.
Most Americans get antsy about big changes even if its thing they agree with. Like a Comedian you can go right up to the line where they agree with you plus one more logical step and they will love you for it. Take one more logical or necessary step and they will turn on you like a pack of dogs.
We all know America need revolution but it you must sell it one step at a time. The left go lucky, they had no interest in one step at a time but conservative resistance managed to slow them to one step at time e.g. the exact speed America was willing to tolerate leftist revolution.
To me the new Lefts successful revolution of America me is a close blueprint for a reformation and rebirth of classical constitutional American freedom.
Or we could keep like we do, slow the left down just enough so America is fine with it, while talking a good game and giving immigration, abortion, gays etc.. plenty of soundbites but never getting around to doing anything about any of it.

Gingrich says he would work to get a "signable" version of the DREAM Act. He advocates that children of illegal immigrants who are prepared to join the military should be able to earn American citizenship. He doesn't support the part of the bill that says you can have a path to citizenship if you go to college.
Romney agrees.

Coming back from the break they had a wide shot. The wider shot now included not only the young men, but also a much older gentleman. For some reason, the visual of the previous question and then seeing the older man gives me the giggles.

And I have a feeling that skill is transferable. He is running for our nomination. I think he has the capacity to be very very effective with moderates. If he can read one demo so well, he can perhaps read another as well, in ways which aren't flat out offensive to the former.

They should all release them or none release them. I don't think it's anyone's business until you are the nominee. But, you can't tell anything from one year or even two years if you count the draft for this year. They are just going to create controversy for some and others will allude to "stuff in previous returns". If it's cut and dry, then it's cut and dry. But they are going to be going over those returns with a fine tooth comb, comparing them to bain filings, and any other public record.

With all respect, are you retarded? The rate -IS- the proportion. It's the percentage income paid, thus [tax]/[income]=[fractional rate]*100 = percentage
You just said the [rate] isn't going to matter, it's the [percentage] ... ugh! Our country is fucked.

You claimed 'they' in the media were discussing the tax [rate] and masking away the [proportion] paid, which will outrage Joe-six-pack when he computes it himself.
Uh, no Joe is smart enough to know that the 15% rate listed in the first paragraph is what to compare against their rate -- because it's the same thing. No hidden illuminatus or rabbit tricks.
If Joe-six-pack is one of the 54% of Americans who has money invested in the stock market (ie. he's a Republican), then he understands that the 15% rate is the same as he pays on cap gains. And if he's not in that 54%, the likelihood of getting his vote with any candidate has pitfalled already.

They will also be thinking about the fact that under newt's plan romney wouldn't be paying any taxes at all. Both candidates were dinged in that entire exchange which is why it's highlighted on politico.

A conclusion that I know nothing about macro or micro economics is a stretch from our small exchange.
Perception is everything. The release of mitts tax return plays right into the president's hands in an odd sort of way.

We're at that stage where it should never have come to this. If only WOPR had gamed it all out before Matthew Broddrick decided to get laid, he'd have seen nobody wins.

Don't know the answer to this question, if I did I'd send an email to each campaign.
I think you have to have faith that the American people can ferret through the bs.

shit, I pay over 15% just in self-employment taxes, that doesn't even count income taxes.
Time for me to SELF-DEPORT.
