While the republicans are down in Tampa waiting out the storm, can somebody/anybody please have a workshop with those idiot senate candidates and explain that rape is not on the conversational menu for this election??
Rape is to be condemned, then change the subject. Idiot candidates do not need to impress the rest of us with their loony toon ideas on the various types of rape. Just shut up already!

You were doing fine until that last sentence.
Unless you're running for a House seat in a redder than red district, that won't fly.
If you don't believe in an abortion exception for rape, the correct answer is that you condemn rape and dodge the question.

Left wing rag Austin American Statesman is running with the meme, "Latinos target Cruz."
Leftist rag sucks balls. I am trying to form a high trust society in my neighborhood. The Latios like me since I married one. They not only will let me live, I am allowed to map out the various fire zones, and other areas of defense.
On the up side, the claim to "know people" in the cartels and can deliver 40mm grenade launchers should that be deemed necessary.
Hey, you take allies where you can get them.

Hollering first in every thread is stupid and a waste of time, so since no one really cares, I'm just going to yell random numbers and hope my post number matches what I blurt out and I'll feel good about it.

That's the effective political answer. Immediately segue into the economy and the need for change.
Clearly killing babies for the sins of their parent is reprehensible and ghastly, but it doesn't sit well with a lot of people to think that through logically.

Heh, a prominent womens group has declared that they have their panties in a bunch over the DNC's refusal to provide free daycare at the convention.
Basicly, according to dem logic, since there will be no free daycare, their right to access day care has been denied. Dems are anti-child care!
No word on whether theres an exception for rape or incest in getting the free day care, but probably not.

As if New Orleans "deserves" being spared another tropical storm or hurricane, the public determining it's someone else's "turn".
Reflect how regularly the media ignores massive destruction from hurricanes and storms hitting other port cities, Galveston for instance, other places than New Orleans or Miami.

Give him $500K a year and tell him every time he makes a reporter from the LSM cry, there will be $10K deposited into Callista's Tiffany account and $25K for each one that he can get to foam at the mouth. Tell him if he makes it one year, you will make all the Press Conferences Pay-For-View and give him a 50% cut of the NET.

------------
Social issues are a big loser for Republicans.
That's why the Dems keep bringing them up....especially the abortion/rape issue.
I like the fact that the Republican party is the party of....Freedom.
And less Government Intrusion into our lives.
A woman should have the right to purchase a firearm, right?
She could 'take a life' with that gun.
But allowing her to have the freedom to have an abortion? No! We have to outlaw that.
We conservatives rail about the Government trying to micro-manage our lives.
Except on the abortion issue.
It makes us look like hypocrites.
We could outlaw abortions....but it will not stop them from happening.
Just like with owning a gun.
People will just go underground for it, and go around the law.
Just like how Drug Laws have not stopped people from doing illegal drugs.
Is abortion an abomination?
Yeah. It is.
But as a political issue....it's a loser.
I for damn sure don't want my tax dollars paying for abortions.
Most people don't.
I would like to see our candidates simply state that...."Abortions should not be an entitlement, paid for with tax dollars".
And leave it at that.

I actually don't think thats as true as it once was. The nation seems to be tilting away from supporting abortion so much but the smart tactical thing to do is keep up the pressure, but do it quietly. If you push people too much they tend to react rather than listen. Women especially tend to be really touchy on the issue even if they know better. And young guys are gung ho on abortion because they figure women are and besides, who wants to be stuck with a kid because you went bareback with some hookup? Consequences are for the old.
