Name That Party
— LauraW

Episode #8,451: The Case Of The Site-Hacking Mayor

Felix Roque, the mayor of West New York, NJ, along with his son, were arrested for allegedly hacking into a site dedicated to his recall. The mayor also allegedly threatened the site's contributors.

...the mayor allegedly called another site contributor to tell him that the site had been kicked offline by "highly placed government officials" and that "everyone would pay" for getting involved with the recall push.

A couple hours later, the mayor then allegedly wrote to "Victim 5" and threatened to sic the Internal Revenue Service, along with a nice tax audit, on him or her.

Do you know how civilization will end?

Starvation and exposure to the elements. Each new generation is becoming less capable of providing for themselves.

So...Idiocracy - the humor - the sex = how it will all end

Why would the mayor of some shit hole town in NJ go to this length to stop a recall?  It has to be one of the following options  A) Something to hide  B)  That fucking stupid  C) Both A & B

Would you want to be unemployed in a city and state run by Dems in the Obama economy?

It's NJ.  Unless the Mafia local waste disposal company is hiring, being a former mayor doesn't provide one with many prospects.

As I recall, the first versions of this story from the MFM claimed that this cockholster was close friends with Gov Christie in the middle of the story, and mentioned that he was a Democrat in the last paragraph.

Posted by: IllTemperedCur at May 30, 2012 09:26 AM (xDqit)

28
[Gov. Chris Christie] had publicly embraced Roque last year after he endorsed Republican Joe Kyrillos over Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez. At one point, Christie traveled to West New York in support of Roque as Democrats became outraged over the endorsement.

In 2011, Christie had presided over the mayorÂ’s swearing in ceremony after Rogue won an upset election in the small town.

Oopsie!

Also:

"According to the FBI, Mayor Roque told them that he'd be OK with going to jail, since he was doing pretty OK financially, had "lived the dream," and could always work out and read if/while he was in the pokey"

The bastard needs to be sued into oblivion.

36 Lurch still hasn't paid yacht tax even though he swore the check was in the mail;

After the tax scandal broke two years ago, Kerry said he would immediately pay all sales and excise taxes to Massachusetts.

But when the Herald called the Nantucket tax collectorÂ’s office last week, there was no record of any bills or payments in KerryÂ’s name. A spokeswoman for Kerry said the senatorÂ’s accountant had tried repeatedly to get the tax bill from Nantucket, but couldnÂ’t get a response. The taxes, amounting to roughly $100, were finally paid in full last December, according to KerryÂ’s office.

43 I remember reading about this in the New York Daily News. His party was mentioned along with his name - Democrat. I remember precisely because I didn't have to play name that party.  The Daily News pundits are Liberal trash. Mike Lupica and Dennis Hammil both think it wrong white people get to vote, and Hammil is even upset Iowa has an equal vote in the Senate. However, in its news reporting, the Daily News is fair. Republicans do get good press and Democrats bad press sometimes, unlike in the Slimes.
