New Lost Verse To Alannis Morrisette's "Ironic" Discovered 17 Years Later
— Ace

Above the Post One-Liner:

It's just a perpetual calender of opposite days in retard world.

-- ErikW

Don't you think?

"Everything bad that's ever happened under [Romney]Â…he blames on other people, and that just isn't very Presidential." -- @theDemocrats (apparently a real Democratic twitter feed)

Oh, by the way, Obama's a liar.

I'm looking at Twitter now, watching people like Mike Allen from Politico trying to gin up interest in this.

Meanwhile, Greg Sergeant (identified as an easy turn by Media Matters, willing to print whatever they pushed) mused thusly:

But here’s my question. Even if you accept that there’s no evidence Romney had direct involvement in Bain’s investment decisions, is this really the type of argument that’s going to fly with voters? My guess is that the distinction the Romney campaign is making here will be lost on them. They are unlikely to buy the argument that Romney bears no responsibility for the activites of a company during a period in which he is listed as the “chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president” of the company.

In other words, as @drewmtips interprets, "So what if the facts aren't on our side. They're slightly confusing and Romney will have to fight back against the confusion. So let's push the false story anyway, guys!!!"

Thanks to @slublog.

On related subjects (I think):

1) I like that American Thinker article - they've adopted my theme that Obama's running his campaign like he runs the govt.

2) I don't like Townhall's "Most Shameful Moments" article - it's comepletely inadequate. Ace could run a thread where people could come up with WAY, WAY, more shameful moments for that list. #8 for example, is more of a gaffe, or blunder, than something "shameful". I can think of two lawless acts that aren't even on there - attacking Lybia (consulting the US, but not Congress), and the recess appointments when Congress wasn't in recess. On the Holder thing, he blames Obama for Holder's actions, when Obama's shame in it is the misuse (and abuse) of executive priveledge. It just goes on and on, how the author misses the mark...

On the Bain stuff, they're grasping at straws. The fact-checkers - who are liberals - have declared the presidents comments to be lies that's VERY SIMPLE. The onus is on Obama at this point to give the complicated explanation of how his lies are really true.

The way I remember it, Obama was blaming Romney for actions taken by his COMPANIES - actions which took place after Romney had left. So it's more of a really outrageous misrepresentation. It's directed at people who will readily buy the line that "rich companies outsource". I'm sure they didn't expect their own groupies to call them on it.

This is why I fear Bark Obama will win re-election. He has made lying, false innuendo and suppression of details about his own life into cornerstones of every political campaign he has run. Worse, it has worked for him, each and every time.

It may be that you and I see through the incredible bullshit he and his campaign are pumping out, but the average voter, fed by establishment newspapers and the TV networks, does not.

Moreover, the "conservative" media -- RedState, Clownhall, NRO and the Weekly Standard among them -- have neither the resources for or interest in doing the kind of research it would take to get the truth about the Choomer-in-Chief out to the public. Can you imagine Jonah Goldberg or Poppin' Fresh actually getting their pasty hands dirty in a search for the facts Obama has suppressed? Or can you imagine them putting out actual declarative-sentence opinions against Obama if someone handed them the evidence?

I don't think so.

Mutt Romney can do his best -- which isn't all that damn good -- but without support from the eunuchs who claim to be on his side, he will get nowhere. The Obama cheerleading squad works 24/7. Poppin' Fresh would rather titter about "Obamateurisms" than expose the felonious behavior of Obama.

In short, unless we get some of our bloggers, talkers and "opinion leaders" to get off their spreading asses and combat what the Democrats are pushing, we're in for four years in which the U.S.A. will be brought to its knees by the enemy within.

Somebody should make a list of the most outrageous Obamanations. I'm thinking maybe cut it short at 20.  Things like:

1) Made fun of the Birthers, when it turns out that he was the original Birther, calling himself a Kenyan native to sell books.

2) Spend millions of dollars of other people's money, just because he was insulted that anybody would question his birthplace - then relented anyway.

3) Blamed the economic downturn on Bush's tax cuts - and then agreed to extens them.

4) Promised to halve the deficit, and never submitted a budget that didn't double it.

5) Denounced people against gay marriage as homophobes - after campaigning against gay marriage himself.

 6) Promised to "stop the oceans from rising"; suggested voters would have a religious epiphany to decide to vote for them.

7) Greek columns...

56 How come you guys never talk about "smart military" stuff around here any more?

We have been declared "the Enemy"....by our own current POTUS.

This same president, is deploying Lawfare, Class Warefare, and 'divide-and-conquer' tactics....against his own people.

So, one could say....that our own CIC, has turned politics into a military operation.

89 But hereÂ’s my question. Even if you accept that thereÂ’s no evidence Obama  had direct involvement in Fast and Furious decisions, is this really the type of argument thatÂ’s going to fly with voters? My guess is that the distinction the Obama campaign is making here will be lost on them. They are unlikely to buy the argument that Obama bears no responsibility for the activities of a federal agency during a period in which he is listed as the “chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president” of the government.

That whole Romney blaming Obama thing make my brain hurt.

You know one of the few things that voters know about Romney?  He managed to run an Olympics that didn't wind up with host city in the hole forever.  *waves at Montreal who paid off the 1976 Olympics in 2006*  So it's pretty easy to say "Hey he was just on the letterhead while he was off RUNNING THE OLYMPICS USA!  USA!  USA!"

I would venture that nearly everyone has worked for a company where the guy who was the boss on paper was just a figurehead.

Nine days. In nine days he left the business he created so he could turn around the corrupt and indebted post-September 11th, American Olympic Games.

I wonder if people will understand if the paperwork wasn't planned out in advance by teams of lawyers.
