Obama Down To MoE Leads In PA and MI
— Ace

What do you do when your firewall is on fire?

Um, Old: I saw this on Twitter and thought it was new. It's not. It's from October 8.

Plus, it's numbers we've already seen. I thought it was confirmation of those numbers.

Guess I should have read it.

Think about how many things in the world are actually contingent to one degree or another on who does better in the next presidential debate, everything from Israel to the fiscal cliff.  Ever since the Republican primary debates, it seems debating is more important than ad buys.  Perhaps many people have quit trusting political ads of any kind?

Whatever Romney is doing, he should stop doing it and start preparing for Tuesday.

45 Unequivocally attached Rice to the 9/11 movie bs as a WH initiative and nothing to do with State dept position. Senior State dept statements forcefully state the WH was informed of security threats and the Benghazi attack was definitely a planned military-style action, with the movie as a "convenient excuse". I'm seeing also questioning a mysterious "CIA memo" that backed the idea the attack was a spontaneous mob that got out of hand. Refs to that memo can't be found anywhere except from Rice's statement and Langley denies it ever happened. Plugs opened a huge can of shit.

60 Since the Obama White House has already thrown the Secretary of State under the bus, the key to taking down the Obama Administration and Obama/Biden re-election campaign is for the GOP to take it hard and fast to Hillary Clinton and the State Department.  This has all of the makings of the October Surprise bloodbath that everybody has been waiting for.

Michigan Republicans are very energized and there is a belief we can turn the state red, at least at the national level. Some internal Republican polls show Romney in a tie.

The Debster has Pete way down, and despite a lot of great efforts on his behalf, the numbers just will not move for him. His hope right now is for a Romney win in the state and some long coat-tails to pull up Pete's count.

I think "There Will Be Blood" is a good (though somewhat overrated) movie. However, that clip by itself doesn't work if you haven't seen the whole movie and saw what the guy who is crying in that scene had done years earlier to the main character in that scene named Daniel Plainview, who is played by Daniel Day-Lewis. Thus, Plainview, a hate-filled man who had gone insane by that point in the movie, was exacting revenge on the other guy.

I really think that is the case with ads that people generally tune them out. DVR is more common now and with cable/satellite/internet, you are seeing less and less benefits from ad campaigns, UNLESS they are a 5 to 1 or 10 to 1 ratio like Mitt V Newt in Florida or Obama in early August.

Debates matter more because they let us see the actual candidates WITHOUT the spin and crap from the shit media.

Where in Delco? I've only seen two Obama signs in my travels in the western part of the county. Well, three if you count the one that was amended to NObama, UNbiden.

If there's no Obama signs up around the MacDade blvd. corridor, then the donks are in trouble in the keystone state. One kind of odd sighting: the local union hall had a Pat Meehan lawn sign for a few days, then nothing. That was followed by a huge Pileggi wooden sign with posts planted on their lawn. These are both GOP officeholders. In 2008 the grass in front of the local was festooned with obama lawn signs. No democrat love there yet.

100 BTW, I disagree that 'Daniel Plainview' was old and insane in that scene

he was a retired oil executive, maybe just a little cranky

that snake-oil salesman of a preacher had it coming

101 I was referring to Hillary. How does she blame Odumbo when she herself kept trumpeting the 'it's because of a video' story? I read that last night. It will get interesting..... Posted by: Tami at October 13, 2012 02:31 PM (X6akg) I get you. Thing is, she didn't specifically attach that movie, or blame a "spontaneous protest" for the Benghazi disaster, iirc. Very carefully did not do that. Secondly, Plugs jammed her right between Langley and the WH. Nevermind her credibility. This issue is who takes the blame. Somebody will, because CIA won't let either one of those two jerks hang them out to dry for something they aren't responsible for. Interesting ain't the half of it. Bubba is involved now. If it's true he's assembled an ad hoc legal team, shit has most assuredly gotten real. Somebody getting deep sixed in the next few days. The only question is who it will be...

102 be still my heart

are you telling me we get to see a public pissing contest between White House and State over who got our Ambassador killed?

Only weeks before the election?

103 104 Exactly that.

104 Anyone else think Daniel Day Lewis is overrated? Why does playing over the top characters equate to being good? I find his portrayals usually so unbelievable I don't even watch the full movie.

105 the State Dept has many career employees--many, many.  They are not happy about Stevens death & the resultant finger pointing.  While some may have a political affinity with Hillary (they probably all do), they want someone to own up to this & fix the problem.  Watch for some of them to start leaking.

==========

She blamed the video while STANDING NEXT TO THEIR COFFINS!  If that doesn't refer to Benghazi, I don't now what does.

Day to day politics versus statements in the record. Your point is taken. MY point is your point doesn't matter at all. Neither of the two has any credibility, so character isn't part of the fight in any way.

We agree...and I hope you don't think I was yelling at you....I wasn't.

These people just disgust me.
