Obama Is A "Radical" Who Is "Dangerous" To Free Speech Says.....Mitch McConnell
— DrewM

I know lots of people think McConnell is among the Rinoeist of the RINOs but no one can deny he's outstanding on freedom of speech (remember McConnell was the lead plaintiff in the case that sought to overturn McCain-Feingold).

Today McConnell is going to speak at AEI (11:30 eastern, livestream here) and he gave Breitbart News a preview.

In short: Obama is a Stuttering Clusterfrak Of A Miserable Tyrant.

“This is a dangerous, radical administration,” said McConnell.

“I’m going to lay out a long litany of abuses pursued by the Obama Administration and its allies against its political opponents,” McConnell said. “It’s reminiscent of the Nixon administration. It’s much more pervasive than Clinton. They have their enemies list. They’re checking it twice. They’re going to go after those that have been naughty and not nice.”

...

McConnell is incensed over the administration’s use of government and nongovernmental resources to target its political enemies. “They’ve used the IRS, the FEC, the FCC, the SEC, their allies in the Obama campaign to go after people who disagree with them. The Obama campaign has rifled through the divorce records of a major donor to an opposing super PAC. The government itself is intimidating donors. Appointees at the IRS and other agencies are pursuing similar efforts to ferret out who is contributing to outside groups critical of the administration so that they can scare them off the playing field and shut them up.”

Much more at the link, including a recognition of leftwing attacks on conservatives like SWATing.

Game on, gloves off.

3 I saw McConnell on some show yesterday talking about this and about the dems idea of amending the 1st Amendment.  He seemed pretty passionate, if you can imagine such a thing.

12 Yeah, he says all this and yet Nixon was forced to resign just ahead of impeachment.  is there any chance they will impeach Obama?

Don't make me laugh.  The Republican Party is so terrified of the CBC they voted to to extend the unconstitutional section  V of the VRA another 25 years despite it being nothing more than a tool of the Democrat Party.

This is nothing more than rhetoric, and like Obama's open mouth I discount rhetoric and watch actions.

I'm sure they'll be required to fill out their complimentary voter registration cards before being given their work permits.

This is such an obvious ploy to woo Hispanics. Timing, everything. And talk about an abuse of power. I can't wait for November to toss this Marxist piece of trash out on his ass.

Hey, now.  That sounds a bit angry...

That said, it's nice to see an otherwise useless RINO taking a stand against the enemy.  Good for him.  I hope he serves as an example for the others of his kind.  It's time to dog pile on the traitor-in-chief and his administration of thugs.

17 I'm glad he's at least trying to do something, but the fact is that Obama can and will do pretty much anything he damn well pleases. He knows the MSM will ignore even outright crimes and so the squishy-headed swing voters will never know about them. That's all that matters.

20 And yet even more open defiance of the law.  He is implementing the Dream Act despite the fact that it has been rejected in Congress multiple times.

Under the president’s “deferred action” executive order, students in the U.S. who are already in deportation proceedings or those who qualify for the DREAM Act and have yet to come forward to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials, will not be deported and will be allowed to work in the United States.

22 I'm one of the few morons that think McConnell gets a bum rap compared to that weepy cocksucker Boehner, who's done about as little with a House majority as possible.  If the SCOTUS upholds Bammycare, that dickweed won't have a hair on his orange ass if he doesn't submit a bill to defund the POS and see what happens in an election year and who supports a grossly unpopular law.

Even then it was a complete tub of shit brought to you by the same MFM turds that fellate the JEF.  There was nothing that Nixon did that Landslide Lyndon Cocksucker Johnson didn't do more of, led by his catamite in chief Bill Moyers.  Part of Nixon's problem was that he was such a squirrely fuck that conservatives didn't trust him either after dogshit like wage and price controls.

I distinctly remember John McCain assuring all of us in 2008 that we had absolutely nothing to fear from an Obama administration.

46 It was a great speech.  McConnell is not exactly what I'd call a dynamic speaker and that somehow gave his words more weight.  It was a serious speech about a serious subject and as much as I think McConnell is a squish in deference to propriety, it was pretty devastating.  Too bad nobody will hear it.

49 McConnell has finally realized that playing nice and following the standard rules of conduct means he just gets played for a chump by Dear Leader Obama. He is frustrated at being a tacit accomplice to Obama's "leadership" and he wants it known on the record that he knows the President is a lying liar who lies and cheats at everything including his golf game.

GO to CSPAN and see his speech at the American Enterprise Institute, June 15. Even if you think you know all the outrages perpetrated by this criminal Administration and their henchmen -- it's MUCH worse than you think. I was shocked shitless by some of the things McConnell revealed, and I've been a blog addict since 2001. . . .

He Gets It. He Really Gets It. And, boy, did he give it to the Jackass today!

54 I agree with the folks above who noted MM's usual mild-mannered mien: that made his measured delivery all the more devastating. He did NOT mince words: called Obama a lawless tyrant in all but name, and yes -- he DID talk about the SWATting tactics, at some length, as another instance of the abuse of power. He also laid the blame for this shit squarely on The Boyfriend's doorstep, for not stepping up and stopping it: said it was obvious the bastard approves (sans profanity, of course).
