Obama No Longer Rockin' The Vote with the Young?

Unemployed young people can't move out of their parents' houses with Hope and Change credit cards.

In 2008, Obama had a 34-point advantage over Republican Sen. John McCain among voters younger than 30. He won about two-thirds of the vote in that age group.
But a new Harvard poll suggests the president could face a more difficult sales job with younger voters this time around. Obama led Romney by 12 points among those ages 18-24, according to the survey. Among those in the 25-29 age group, Obama held a 23-point advantage.

The picture above is of a Colorado University student who got a funny picture snapped with the president on one of his seventeen bazillion political trips.

She says Obama is a "wonderful dude." But when asked by optimistic Obama-boosters on CNN if she'll be voting for him, she says "Um" and claims she has some principle against saying who she'll be voting for on TV.

Which means, in all likelihood, she's not voting for him.

The anchorettes pretend they're happy to hear she won't reveal her voting preference, but I can't help think they're butthurt that the girl spoiled their Obama-loving party.

37 On my way into work I listened to a podcast of Milt Rosenberg's WGN-AM radio show. He was taking calls about the election, just asking people who they were going to vote for and why.

1 or 2 people said there were voting for Romney because of the economy, and a LOT of people said they were voting for Obama but were completely incoherent regarding why.

The handful of people who weren't completely incoherent about their Obama support spoke only in terms of class warfare rhetoric.

And of course there were the handful of "a pox on both their houses!" Ron Paul numbnuts types who don't want Obama re-elected but really don't want to vote for Mitt Romney.

I'm thinking we might be boned. I had no idea there were still so many stupid people running around blind to the damage Obama has been doing.

We had a similar controvery around here locally. Now, if you're black you can become a police officer for the City of Dayton if you have a failing test score.

After one of the elections that GWB won, either against Weird Al or Reporting for Doody, Eleanor Clift's now dead husband wrote a column in our local fishwrap asking for people who left the presidential selection blank to contact him. A woman that I know voted that way and I urged her to get in touch with him because I wanted at least one semi-sane individual to respond. I figured that he was doing it strictly in a "gathering information" type of thing which I'd expect of somebody that wanted to at least give the appearance of possessing integrity. When I asked her subsequently if she'd done so she said yes and the cockwipe was a real fuckhead to her, snottily stating that "Well you know all you did was end up giving the election to the victor". I hope that fuck's death was extremely painful and served as a preamble to a life of torture in Hell with Satan having the face of his crone wife.

I get that young people tend to be liberal because they are idealistic and poor so they don't pay taxes, etc. But, isn't a better question how Obama is doing with 22-28 yr olds? That's where he'd be potentially losing votes.

In this case they might have a legitimate reason to want more ethnic "diversity". If the SEALS get sent on an operation in Africa (for instance) that calls for them to blend in with the local population, it might be a bit more difficult for a bunch of white guys to pull off.

That new "Forward" campaign slogan is just typical, isn't it?

I mean....it reflects the hive-mentality of the liberals/socialists who make up Team Barky. ....It implies "Onward!" ....."Onward with our Mission!".....like a command to the troops.

I can see how they would like it, and think that it was a good idea.

But in light of President GolfsAlot....."Forward" should be spelled "Fore!ward".

.....These people who surround him, are so steeped in their own outlook, and adoration of Barky.....that they seem oblivious to the things that he has done in office that are definitely not awesome....and leave him open to mockery.

They were so oblivious, that they also came up with that "Winning The Future" slogan.....and didn't even notice that the acronym of it was "WTF".

Yes! In fact, not only did that happen, it happened to the same host of the show I was talking about earlier, Milt Rosenberg.

There were two broadcasts in question where the show was disrupted by an avalanche of retarded Obamabots who were objecting to the host giving airtime to Obama-critical guests. One of the guests was David Freddoso, and I don't remember who the other one was.

I used to have the podcasts of those two shows; they were downright eerie at times. This was when the cult was at its strongest and most fervent.

This "scandal" serves the purpose of letting people in the military who might be tempted to vote for a lefty, like Obama, what the consequences are. As I've mentioned before, Discovery has done a documentary on the 2 week selection process for army special ops training. Here's the thing. The process is so tough that just making it to the end of the 2 weeks is considered an accomplishment. Many of the soldiers go through the process a few times before they make it. at the end of the process, not all of the soldiers who made it through get selected. In this particular two week selection, at the end, there was this black guy who had gotten through the 2 weeks, but wasn't selected. I can't remember exactly what he said on camera, but I remember him, because for the hell he went through, and the disappointment, he was still positive. You were left with the impression that he would probably go through it again with the increased likelihood of making it the second or third time. That's one of the things they're looking for, an attitude of not giving up. But if they start lowering standards to promote diversity, his making it will be diminished. If he makes it under the present standards, he and everyone else will know that he made it because he was the best. In this particular 2 week process,

Apparently her dad (a big conservative) "outed" her name via an e-mail to the radio host, saying he should get her on the air to talk about her encounter with Obama. In his (the dad's) words, there was more to the story than the regular media were covering, the implication being that she wasn't a typical liberal brat all goo-goo about The One.

During her interview, it became pretty apparent throughout that she wasn't a liberal, even though she wouldn't come straight out and say she wasn't voting for Obama.
