— Gabriel Malor Last night, Obama was on his bazillionth fundraising trip this year. There were some familiar faces at the party:
Steve Westly, a Silicon Valley venture capitalist, was one of the first to raise red flags about the administrationÂ’s support for a $500 million loan to Solyndra, the solar energy start-up that later went bankrupt. He wrote directly to senior Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett in 2010 to raise concerns about the companyÂ’s viability ahead of the presidentÂ’s high-profile visit that year.Matt Rogers, a former senior adviser at the Department of Energy, played a key role in approving SolyndraÂ’s loan as part of the stimulus plan.
Both men were spotted by White House print pool reporter Darren Samuelsohn of Politico at the Piedmont, Calif., home of Quinn Delaney and Wayne Jordan, who were hosting the $35,800-a-head event.
Samuelsohn noted that Westly was seen near the pool “juggling lemons, entertaining kids at the party.”
Juggling lemons? How perfect is that?

When life gives you lemons, squeeze them for every campaign dollar you can get and then make the taxpayer pay one thousand times that amount.

Greed is not that guy over there, minding his own business, working hard, and enjoying the fruits of his labor. Greed is that bunch over there, banding together to get the government to confiscate the first guy’s wealth at the point of a gun and “redistribute” it to them.

And that caused Bullshitico and all the other MFM butt-kissers to chastise the Choomer-in-Chief for diverting taxpayer money to his big supporters....
Amirite?
Seems they're dealing with this the same way they deal with the endless parade of lies and distortions in Bark Obama's campaign commercials: if forced to notice, they'll make excuses and offer creative "explanations."
But Poppin' Fresh can make an "Obamateurism" out of this. That'll show Obama!

It's never been about saving the world, it's always been about controlling the world.
Some believe that it is the right and privilege to decide what is best for the masses.

The worst part of it is, he spoke at the VFW and so could use it so that we had to pick up the tab for his trip. I guess if you run out of money you just use the tax payers money (I know, I know he has been doing it all along).
He stands there and lies about all the money that Romney has and how he was so overspend when running against McCain, and his supporters just say, "yes massah".
The most dishonest pres in my lifetime - he can stand there and say Romney lied and play what Romney said he said and then play what he said and it's an exact quote,. We are so doomed if we can't get this guy out!

Juggling lemons? How perfect is that?
LOVE IT.
I think it would be an even more perfect metaphor if he completely failed at being able to keep the lemons in the air, and then didn't have the sense to take the lemons and make lemonade instead.

"RMoney" bumper stickers....and?
Is that supposed to be some sort of pejorative?
Given the stupefying dolt and band of gallumping shatstains currently setting fire to and dynamiting the public fisc, I'll gladly take someone who has the supposedly insulting nickname of "RMoney" to be the next steward of my tax monies.

Sounds like either a regressive or a Paulbot. *nod*
I'm heartened by the number of Romney signs I'm seeing spring up around NH, as well as signs for other republican candidates in state and Congressional elections. I've yet to see a really big Obama yard sign, or even a small one. I do tend to see more Obama bumper stickers than Romney ones, but:
A) Most of the Obama stickers are from 2008; and
B) Republicans and conservatives generally don't plaster our cars with politician-related bumper stickers; at least not here in New Hampshire. It's irritating to have to scrape them off after an election, and there's nothing quite so depressing as a "Dole for President" bumper sticker in 2012.
Then of course there's the fact that lawless regressives are more likely to key your car if you have a Romney bumper sticker, or any bumper sticker that's not overtly left wing.

Some on our side were hand-wringing about this yesterday, but the actual facts of the case make it clear it's nothing more than a red herring. My take is up on my blog.

live in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area, a nexus point for UNC, NCState, Duke, etc. and all the attendant lefty riff raff such establishments attract.
See about 2 to 3 "o-hole 12" stickers per lengthy drive. That ain't much, given that this should be a nest of earflaps the eejit acolytes. Makes me happy.

Thanks. I think it's almost as pathetic that there are conservatives who are whining about "Romney not doing his homework" regarding the ad.

"Well, that would require Mitt Romney to run an entirely different campaign from the one he's run so far. And he's not going to do it. He is playing to- and has from the beginning of the campaign- played to the kind of nativist base of the Tea Party."
YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!
Mitt Romney has been playing to the Tea Party base. During his entire campaign!
A whopper like that only flies with people who honestly paid zero attention whatsoever to the Republican Primary.
