— DrewM Richard Nixon's got nothing on Barack Hussein Obama.
Frank VanderSloot is the CEO of Melaleuca Inc. The 63-year-old has run that wellness-products company for 26 years out of tiny Idaho Falls, Idaho. Last August, Mr. VanderSloot gave $1 million to Restore Our Future, the Super PAC that supports Mitt Romney.Three weeks ago, an Obama campaign website, "Keeping GOP Honest," took the extraordinary step of publicly naming and assailing eight private citizens backing Mr. Romney. Titled "Behind the curtain: a brief history of Romney's donors," the post accused the eight of being "wealthy individuals with less-than-reputable records." Mr. VanderSloot was one of the eight, smeared particularly as being "litigious, combative and a bitter foe of the gay rights movement."
About a week after that post, a man named Michael Wolf contacted the Bonneville County Courthouse in Idaho Falls in search of court records regarding Mr. VanderSloot. Specifically, Mr. Wolf wanted all the documents dealing with Mr. VanderSloot's divorces, as well as a case involving a dispute with a former Melaleuca employee.
Who is doing the digging around on those who dare to support Mitt Romney? A former Democratic congressional staffer and a former reporter.
Liberals aren't interested in debate, they are interested in punishing enemies.
Of course Obama himself would never stoop to calling American citizens his enemies. Oh, right.

You know, this is actually terrifying to consider. Give money and every single thing about your life can be dug up and then lied about.
I still want someone from the Left to explain to me how it was good for Jeri Ryan's children to have all the stuff in the divorce records made public. Still. Waiting.

Difference? Which Party they give money to.

And Obama donors get a pass in the me-meeeeedia. Our local paper barely mentioned a fundraiser at a “private waterfront home” in Madrona. But?
“President Obama’s scheduled Thursday swing through Seattle will include a $35,800-per-couple fundraiser at the home of Ann and Bruce Blume, according to an online invitation from the president’s reelection campaign.
Bruce Blume is the founder and CEO of The Blume Company, a commercial real estate firm. Ann Blume is secretary of the board for SightLife, a nonprofit dedicated to ending corneal blindness, and serves on boards for Seattle University and University of Washington.”

Is Frank VanderSloot is the 63-year-old CEO of Melaleuca Inc., really a particularly ... "litigious, combative and a bitter foe of the gay rights movement."?
It looks like the Obama campaign website, "Keeping GOP Honest", will find out. Soon, I suspect. And all in the little town of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Maybe in the larger town of Boise. Preferably not Salt Lake City. I suspect that "Michael Wolf " is in the process of losing his identity.
I'm guessing that, while "Keeping GOP Honest" may not have much money, they have solid links to other people who do have money, lots of money ... and VanderSloot, being particularly litigious and combative, will soon help himself to a big slice of that money.
My recollection, from living in the general area some time ago, is that the people of Idaho Falls and Boise, and Salt Lake City, believe in due process, and equality before the law ... Idaho Falls, while perhaps in a remote part of Flyover Country that Isn't Even Flown Over, isn't remote enough for Democratic tastes.

She seems (as do I) to agree with your sentiment. We mostly blame it on the economy (our kids were born in '75, '78, and '81), and we remember the general mood back then, but it wasn't egged on by "community organizing".
She goes out of her way to be non political, because she's surrounded by teachers at the Boulder Valley School District (she's a "para Pro").

He ran on an unrealistic and impossible Economic Platform. This is the First step to walking back his promises... He MUST somehow blame Sark for his failures..
He will say its the worst economy since the depresion, and blame Sark... saying its much worse than he thought... than Sark told him... and so MUST continue on with Sark's plan...
Sound... familiar?

"Americans will be "f**ked" if Barack Obama gets re-elected" ... this according to Beach Boys singer Bruce Johnston.

Looks to me like this guy Vandersloot gave a lot of money to some groups that TehGheys don't like. That is his biggest crime. No doubt they are going to try to tie him to Romney and his bullying the poor gay boy 50 years ago.
This explains why the Obama campaign was so pissed at Joe Biden. They didn't have enough time to dig up all the dirt on Vandersloot and people like him. This was all going to be put together and tied up in a bow and handed to the Washington Post and New York Times to create the new narrative of Mitt Romney: H8er.

Fuck yes that is a great idea; let those turds hire their own enforcement goons for the garbage they put out. But nail 'em if they violate one obscure dipshit provincial statute in doing so.

Repeal all the so-called piracy laws, repeal the tax breaks they get, investigate their accounting shenanigans where a film that makes a billion gets to be called a loss to avoid tax and royalty payments, tax swag tables, enforce labor and environmental laws that Hollywood gets a pass on
Then let's see how they handle "sticking it to the rich"

No problem! My crush on Gowdy has been building for some time now. Gowdy for Speaker! Gowdy for VP!
It reminds me of the cross-examination scene in My Cousin Vinny. "I'm through with THIS guy!"

RE Trey Gowdy...Me and the Mrs were watching one of those 48hrs type crime investigation shows on Lifetime (stop laughing.) where the wife is usually guilty of killing her husband for insurance money. Anywhoo... Mid 90's Gowdy was a SC prosecutor who was full of piss and vinegar now he is just a Bad-Ass Mofo!!

I like our bench. Its deep. With alot of Badass Mofos. Been feeling very optomistic lately.

I'm watching the Gowdy/Sebelius clip linked above and I just love how when she's asked what the basis is that government can NOT force religion on people, her answer is the fictitious "seperation of church and state"; anyone with any knowledge of our country would have simply answered "the 1st Amendment".
I also loved her answer of "No, I do not", lol, and her excuse that she doesn't live in a world of legal memos like Holder. If she's admitting that HHS aren't as professional as the DOJ, then maybe we need to do away with HHS.
