— Ace I'm looking for the backstory now, but wanted to get it up. You can skip until 1:00. Nothing happens until that, except for OWSers shouting some f-bombs periodically.
Backstory: The police were putting up notices to vacate. I guess they saw this guy ripping them down.
[H]e allegedly went from tent to tent removing notices from the Park Service....The arrest coincided with the Monday deadline for protesters to remove camping equipment from the park and nearby plaza. Many have removed prohibited gear, but others have moved in and camped to deliberately challenge police.

I wish the DC police would be trained by NOLA police who don't take crap from anyone. My college son (clean cut, handsome nerdy preppy type) was at the SEC Basketball Championship a few years ago. As most morons know, on Bourbon Street you can stagger around with "to-go" cups of beer or your beverage of choice. My boy and some of his friends were mindin' their own bidness, when a policeman bumped into one innocent lad (crowds on Bourbon are packed...you just go with the flow of the crowd). Son said it appeared deliberate by the cop, and his friend said "Excuse me" in a sarcastic voice. Friend was instantly arrested. Another friend (this one I knew, good kid) asked, "What is he being arrested for?" He got immediately arrested as well. My son said at that point he saw the drill, found out where they were being taken, and a few of them took a cab across town to bail them out. These two guys were thrown into the drunk tank with real live criminals. For some reason my son called us for the bail of one friend at 2am and we did it and were repaid later. I am not sure why that friend did not call his own father, who is a wealthy orthodontist, but whatever. Regardless, those cops in NOLA would have tased and arrested the entire bunch of OWS who either screamed at them or had that obnoxious whistle. I respect the cops in NOLA and everywhere, and believe they are way too tolerant with these OWS hippies.
This, folks, is just the start. They want so badly for this to be 1965-1970 again, with Watt's Riots, Dem Convention riots, Kent State riots. Here we go.

My girlfriend lives across the street from Occupy DC.
I don't mean that in vague terms, I mean, her apartment complex is LITERALLY across the street from McPherson Square. As in, you exit her complex door, walk about 30 feet, and there they are.

Some of my friends got annoyed. I asked them, had they been down there? They said no (which is ironic, given that the bar we were at was literally three blocks away from the site).
