Olympics Preview: Hot Australian Hurdler Edition (JWF)
— Guest Blogger

I can't be the only one eagerly anticipating the women's 100-meter hurdles at the London games.

Emerging 19-year-old Michelle Jenneke, who hails from Sydney, has become worldwide internet sensation after some very interesting dance moves at last weekend's Barcelona World Junior Championships.

While she completely dominated her women's 100-metre hurdle event, it's Jenneke's sexy warm-up dance - which included wiggling her hips and shimmying - that's made her famous around the Web.

The footage has gone viral and has become a YouTube sensation - with the most popular video one of her moving to a catchy dance tune.

It has gone everywhere, even USA Today - which described the footage as "unique way of stretching."

Um, yeah. We apologize for the tardiness in getting this video posted. It was really crowded down in the bunker.

If you're interested, and you know you are, the women's 100 m hurdles schedule is here.

Special added bonus. Smoking hot American Lolo Jones is also competing in the event. You're welcome.

Follow me on Twitter or visit here.

Update: Whoa, my bad. As someone pointed out, sadly Jenneke won't be appearing in the Olympics this year. There's always hope for 2016.

6 Don't mean to bust your bubble but she won't be in the Olympics. This was at the junior world championships. This is what I miss about college track the most. Hurdlers, pole vaulters, sprinters and distance girls make the world go round.

7 I don't think she will be running in the 2012 Olympics...that was World Juniors. Maybe in four more years. I love how during the race you can see her focus and drive kick in, while before and after the race she is so friendly and seemingly care-free.

Good deal.  When a girl has an exquisite body and rushes out to get inked up it really puts me off.

I used to know a girl who had a birthmark on the upper part of her arm that she went to great lengths to keep hidden.  She also had a tattoo on her ankle that she was proud of.  I felt like telling her that the tattoo looked a lot worse than the birthmark.

I think this sort of thing is another reason so many people (conservatives at least) are so discouraged.  The justice system is so far removed from actually administering justice that it is laughable.  The victim is being persecuted while the perpetrators get a slap on the wrist.  The talking heads are all chattering about needing to find out what reason led the Aurora scumbag to do what he did, rather than offering suggestions as to how to get him to a speedy trial.

Absolutely not to play devil's advocate, but why does everyone assume lil miss 17-year old is telling the truth about what really happened?  I saw no evidence otherwise in all the comments I read- if the case was as open-and-shut as she claims it is they wouldn't have had to plea-bargain.  Although if she had just told a friend the boys' identities and then the friend blabbed the names all over the internet all of this could have been avoided.

Prosecutors almost always want to plea out the cases. It is much more efficient for them, plus it helps with their conviction rate. Very few cases ever make it to trial, both civil and criminal. The plea bargain is to criminal cases as settling out of court is to civil cases. Civil cases are settled out of court not because of guilt or innocence, but because it is cheaper to write out a settlement check than to pay the attorneys' fees for a court case. In a criminal case, the plea bargain makes it easier for criminals to get behind bars for a term that would be shorter than if they were convicted, and it takes an "OJ Jury" out of the equation.

Secondly, the girl was not a signatory to the plea bargain, so she should not be held liable for saying anything about it.

183 Navycop no, that's not true tho I can see why you'd want to believe that- many people plea to the lesser offense to avoid the risk of being wrongly found guilty on the much harsher offense they'd be charged with if they went to trial.  That much I DO know with 1000% certainty.  Now they are required to assert that they are in fact guilty as part of their plea bargain but which would you rather do, lie about that or risk spending 5 or 10 or 20 years in prison?

Read more carefully and you'll see that I never asserted the guilt or innocence of ANYBODY-ever- nor did I ever say she was lying- nor did I ever defend any rapists.  If you really had a convincing argument you wouldn't have to make up lies about it-

Interestingly, you can get deep insight into how eman REALLY feels about women by the fact that (s)he thinks identifying me as a female is an insult.  Now that IS a tell...

Peaches if you don't get the cogency of the article I linked this doesn't seem like the time or environment to explain it to you- it doesn't seem you have much dedication to uncovering truth right now.  I still remain polite and kind to you although you have shown me neither.  That hurts you more than it hurts me-

<You seem to be the only one that thinks the guys are innocent.>  I don't, I just entertain the possibility that maybe the girl's story (which was the only story reported) MIGHT not be true.  I've said that NUMEROUS times here, and you can't somehow make me say what you want me to have said here, because I didn't.  If you don't get that I can't really help you, but it's fundamental to everything that's gone on here.  I've also been nothing but cordial and conciliatory to you, and you're the one doubling down on the hostility.  Why such emotional investment in misrepresenting my position and what I've written here?
