12 Feinstein said her bill, S. 3239, would codify an agreement between the United Egg Producers and the Humane Society on how egg-laying hens should be treated and how eggs should be labeled.
--
The conflict between them, Gulliver learns, began years ago, when the emperor’s grandfather, then in command of the country, commanded all Lilliputians to break their eggs on the small end first. He made this decision after breaking an egg in the old way, large end first, and cutting his finger. The people resented the law, and six rebellions were started in protest. The monarchs of Blefuscu fueled these rebellions, and when they were over the rebels fled to that country to seek refuge. Eleven thousand people chose death rather than submit to the law. Many books were written on the controversy, but books written by the Big-Endians were banned in Lilliput. The government of Blefuscu accused the Lilliputians of disobeying their religious doctrine, the Brundrecral, by breaking their eggs at the small end. The Lilliputians argued that the doctrine reads, “That all true believers shall break their eggs at the convenient end,” which could be interpreted as the small end.

Heh, I actually work at a golf course. The worst pests are muskrats and geese.

Muskrats suck because they burrow into a bank from a water hazard (pond) and dig an enormous maze of shallow tunnels which eventually collapses under the weight of a 3,000 lb. rough mower. Not good for the guy riding it.

Geese are just plain assholes. They're loud, mean as hell and shit all over the place. The fuckers prefer open grassy spaces near water. Which is exactly what a golf course is.

I fucking wish we only had to deal with gophers.

30 He'll be flashing me a shit eating grin all day and bragging about his good shots, nothing worse than a sore winner. A nine iron across his back might be an option.

32 @26 Is Johnny Walker Red label any good? I know zip about scotch. Posted by: Tami at May 26, 2012 03:31 PM (X6akg) JWR is okay for a blend. Try Glenlivet. Single malt. Everyone, who likes scotch, likes it. in my experience.

Posted by: naturalfake at May 26, 2012 11:39 AM (G9qZk)

33 I watch Caddyshack every year in preparation for going to my Dad's country club for the Fourth of July. I swear it could be Bushwood. The old people who like to show off and be waited on to excess are amusing. The young families who dress in matching outfits like the Family Von Trapp are hysterical!

57 Dewar's White label is good for a blended scotch. Glenfiddich single malt sctotch was awfully good the last time I had it. Also much to be said for the Georgi 100 proof blue stuff.

59 57 comments in 84 minutes. what a disgrace. liberals who need to look up every talking point before they pretend they can think for themselves have more to say than that. And they only have about 10 talking points.
