A lot of Mitt's millions is dedicated to GOTV. It will be much like 2004 when Rove was finding GOP vote totals that was shocking the Dems.

Back when I was in grad school, I was reading a book on the treatment of prisoners and ransom customs in the Holy Land during the crusading era, and the author brought up a study someone had done of Israeli soldiers that had been captured in 20th century. She summarized it as indicating that repatriated (male, I think) prisoners tended to respond to their captivity in one of two ways - either they became very passive and demonstrated a learned helplessness that persisted long after they were free again, or they became hyperaggressive and independent in a reaction against their former helplessness. I wonder if McCain fell into the former camp.

I love fresh figs. My gramma had two fig trees. One was a black mission fig which was delicious and some green figs which were stickier and had a thicker skin. Down the street from this farm a neighbor had a huge old golden fig tree and i loved those yellow figs, but when they sold the place the new people chopped the tree down. WHen i rode by for figs, i just sat there stunned on my horse and they came up and waved "Oh HAi! you must be the fig girl, they told us you would be around!"
"WHERES THE TREE???"
"Oh we dont like figs."
I really thought very bad things at them. it was depressing. I do love figs.

Actually I think there was a scandal about that in the news recently. I think it went like this:
1) There was coffee that sold for something like $100 bucks a pound, that came from the poop of some sort of catlike creature.
2) The reason it was good was that this cat only picked the ripest, best coffee berries.
3) Someone got the bright idea of force feeding any old coffee beans to these cats, and selling what came out of their butts.

My mother passed away in 2009. After the funeral, a tattoo artist, (brothers friend) set up shop in my parents dining room and inked anyone into it with memorial tats. I was sick at the time and did not get that 2nd one and still havent taken the guy up on the offer. I should do that.

Niiiice. I put a 15# recoil spring in the G36 and cleared up the FTF/FTE problems it was having. The G36 has an unsavory rep for FTF/FTE, I think the 17# spring is too much for it.

Yes, the G36 uses the same 17# spring as the G29. It is a .45ACP after all, but still I think it is too much spring. I got a lot of practice clearing malfs with it when I took my class at Tigerswan. Frustrating to say the least. I'll bet it would run better now.

It runs MUCH better with the 15# spring vice the 17# so I would tend to agree with you there, especially given that guns foul rep. It is very ammo dependent which points even more to an incorrect spring. It works good now, I lurves this gun.

230gr standard white box Winchester FMJ target ammo, with the 15# I'd get 3 or 4 FTE/FTF in 100 rounds. When the gun got dirty (after 200+ rounds) it would happen every 2 or 3 mags (Pearce+1 extensions so 7rds per). Now I can shoot 500 rounds with maybe 1 or 2, depending on the ammo. It even reliably shoots and cycles Range Partner's light loaded (230gr hollowpoints on 5.0 gr powder) reloads. I'm reloading with 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0, I need to get to the range to see which ones I like best.

Oh, got it. The CAI + long tube headers + comp tune + 300 pound lighter car might have helped him a bit as well. He ended up winning the bracket for street radial/NA class so I didn't feel too bad losing to him...especially since I was running top down and not really trying to compete (it was a test n' tune, the real race came later).

The problem that gay guys have is that they are a minority -- let's just posit 5%, although that's a source of contention. That means they've got to have some way of "advertising" for potential partners that can overcome 95% noise -- so they have to shout their availability 20x louder.
Hetero guys shower, dress nice, try to act witty and sophisticated.....now just amp that up by a factor of 20, even without attempting to skew it toward their desired audience. Instead of a 10-minute shower, try 200 minutes of primping; instead of dressing nice, try mimicking a fashion model; instead of acting witty and sophisticated, try being the life of the party.
It's not their fault, really -- the math is against them. It'd be like a Jewish guy who won't shut up about the yeshiva -- it's annoying to goys, but it increases his chances of finding a "nice girl" that he can take home.

Yeah PurpAvg, that is why they are called Semi-Auto suicides. The switch for the clutch I think was in the shifter.. you pressed down. And the goobs who constantly rode the shifter would wear the switch out.
