Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) told supporters he will not seek a House seat in Washington state this year after losing a primary to a fellow Democrat earlier this year, Roll Call reports.
Said Kucinich: "After careful consideration and discussions with Elizabeth and my closest friends, I have decided that, at this time, I can best serve from outside the Congress."

There are a few people I've noticed online that love to dissect polls and numbers, CAC being one of them. There are also people like me that just get sick of them, I might pay attention to them towards the end of a campaign just to see how the wind is blowing, but that's it. Then there's a the rest of the conservative blogoshpere that invest way to much into them. Not because they care about the direction of the country but because politics and government isn't any differant to them then a football game. It's about their candidate of choice or Republicans in general "winning". There's a certain unseriousness about that we should be turning away from, instead it will intensify over the next six months. Most of this is promoted by people like Allahpundit, someone that morphed into caring more about getting a rise out of people then political punditry.

Not only that need to take one cable/network programming and turn it center-right. Entertainment programming is an even bigger force. "Last man Standing" is doing great, nad a great example of what is out there to be harnessed. It doesn't have to be hardcore conservative, simply center right the costco-sams club, middle class type values.
