Shirtless Biden Washes Trans Am In White House Driveway, as the immortal Onion article had it
In the 12 swing states likely to determine the outcome of the presidential election, only 40% of registered voters view Biden favorably, while 54% view him unfavorably. These numbers are worse than President Obama's who is seen favorably by 50% of registered voters in those same states and unfavorably by 49%....
Independents are also down on the VP, with 50% saying they view him unfavorably and 35% holding a favorable view. The survey found the same pattern with voters who are not strongly committed to any candidate, with 52% viewing Biden unfavorably and only 33% holding a favorable view.
Why should Biden's favorability ratings be so low, compared to Obama?
Wasn't Biden supposed to be the reassuring, charming one with decades of serious foreign policy experience?
Wasn't he supposed to make Irish Grandmothers swoon or something?
I would suggest something else:
It's safe to say you don't like Joe Biden. He's white, after all.
How much of the differential could that account for? Oh, probably not a huge chunk. But some of it. Some voters will say they have a high opinion of Obama, while saying they don't have a high opinion of the senile dolt Biden, even though they don't like either.
And on election day, those people will stop counterfeiting their actual beliefs.
If this baseless speculation is anywhere close to correct, Obama could be looking at a very short night on Election Night.

It's why you send the VP out to do it...to spare the top of the ticket (who people really vote for or against) the hit.

It's a link to True The Vote -- an organization created out of TX to preserve voter integrity. They're pushing to get 1,000,000 volunteers to help with different aspects of poll watching and researching voter rolls, etc. Sounds like a lot of people but I was just on a conference call with people from 46 different states. They just need to get the word out.
Everyone reading -- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pass this link on to everyone and anyone you know.
Thanks, lu

That Hildebeast will replace Joey Plugs to become the first female VP, setting her up in 16 to be the nominee. She also may be able to open up the money spigots via Billy Jeff's supporters.
If he did this, it would be a desperation play, and would be seen as one. The only way it can be done is for Joey Plugs to step down for "health issues". Since he had the aneurysm, people would believe it and the media would sell it bigtime.

Tough road. Declining population, businesses fleeing, collapsing tax base, comatose real estate market, etc, etc. If NY ever recovers, its a painful path that will take many decades, and the NY voters are too delusional to vote for anyone advocating that necessary pain. They'll choose to drive off the cliff Thelma and Louise style.

While I agree with this, I also fully believe the JEF loser of a scoamf will stop at nothing to finish the job of fundamentally transforming America. They are so close....sooooo close. If he has to suck it up and jettison Biden to inject enough life into his dismal presidency, he'll do whatever it takes. Even putting up with the Hill. And yeah, I do fear her running as VP. Jug Ears is running way too close for comfort in the toss ups. He should be at 10%. He's not. He needs a little push to inch past Romney. There are a lot of Dems unhappy with this crapweasel...enough to sit it out. But throw the Hildebeast on the ticket and they'll be back.

2) Health reasons
3) Padded room in lockdown to prevent more Bidenisms on campaign trail
4) A big 'effing deal
5) All of the above
Then...who would SCOAMF choose to share the ticket? Someone who would not cast him in shadow. A selfless soul who would commit political suicide by sharing ticket (and we know all politicians, good and evil, are narcissists by nature).
The answer for VP remains: Joe Biden: too stupid to know he won't be able to run in 2016 in what he perceives to be such a successful dictatorship.

I like to refer to the death penalty when talking to liberals as:

Prior to the VP spot, Joe was nearly insolvent.
He owed almost as much in loans as he was worth. The house was in deep hock, he had lines of credit strung out all over the place, etc. How he managed to get that fucked up financially after sucking down a senator's phat salary for 30 years is still a mystery to me.
The only thing I can think of is he may be a retard, and a cheater in college, but he's not particularly corrupt as a politician and simply never learned how to profit from being a senator.
She may simply be hanging around for the phat VP paycheck and retirement he'll get. That's been enough to pull him out of the ditch over the past few years.

Yeppers.
Racism is thrown around so excessively now that it's easy to dismiss it when it does occur. But you know what? I think the results in Arkansas and Kentucky *are* colored by racism. I'll concede that because I believe real racism still exists. Read the comments on most YouTube videos to see it in action.
I wish liberals would only admit how prevalent the soft bigotry of low expectations is in return. Or this corollary that Biden suffers. Real racists would make fun of a black Joe Biden among themselves, but many whites would hesitate because of his color. I guarantee you when a white person is being asked by a black pollster he or she finds it easier to express a negative opinion of Biden than of Obama.
As an aside, I'm happy to see SNL's willingness to lampoon the buffoonery that is Al Sharpton--albeit they are somewhat inoculated against the racism charge by having an out-spoken black comedian act the skit.

I think he'd drop-kick Biden in a second if he was convinced it would help him *and* HRC was willing.
As for Clinton's reluctance, she wouldn't do it just to help Obama. But if she became convinced that she could come off as the Democratic savior who then deserved the reward of a party coronation in 2016, that might work.
They have to find a way to ease Slow Joe out without its seeming like a panic move. If that can be done smoothly--and remember that the media will gush all over it--then it's a no-brainer IMO.
