I know since my family has raised hunting dogs since I was a kid*, but most families will have a fond memory of a dog someplace. Few things are as foreign to western culture as eating dog. And for those moderates who would be sympathetic and forgiving, (he was only a child after all) in doing so they must also remind themselves that O did not grow up in Western Culture, and that the West is a foreign culture to him.
(6 dogs passed, all made real contributions to the family)
