Only state even remotely "contested" is Delaware, if the Gingrich campaign can stop chuckling while saying it.
All five should go to Romney, and comfortably. Turnout will be down in all five as the primary is essentially over.
The Democratic primary fight in PA between Critz and Altmire in the 12th district could be interesting to watch though.
*Quick little announcement for you morons and lurkers: I am in the process of working on a new method of reporting election results focusing solely on margins, simplifying the burning question of who is ahead and where in tight races. I will be kicking that off with the Wisconsin Recall on June 5th. The method is easy: I get results directly from county sources and report them here. No need to click through AP, CNN, and a dozen other sites. All the numbers you would need to know, who is doing what where, all on the same page, updated minute by minute. Just refresh the page and enjoy. My goal is to out-project and out-report the biggies (like reporting Waukesha's results on the night of the primary right here on AOSHQ ahead of several major news sources). About time my ADD became useful...

Went to vote this afternoon and there was a small line, much to my surprise. The weather was not a factor.
Talking to some voters after, a surprising amount of enthusiasm was there. Maybe there will be a good turnout in the general after all.

Heh, I have a friend on facebook who has been piping off about what a huge success today has been for Ron Paul, and how his plan is strategy is going exactly as he wanted it to. Then he says that Romney is totally sweating it right now.
I swear the hardcore Ron Paul people are as out of touch as Obama supporters. Ron Paul!!!1

In Rhode Island they use their turn signals as offensive weapons. The usual is to leave them on for miles and then suddenly turn the other direction, but there are lots of variations.

5. Lets me avoid PA sales tax
4. Lets me avoid Pa State liquor stores.
3. Serves as a daily reminder of how bad Pennsylvania's roads are
2. Kept Joe Biden from being unemployed for yea these many decades
1. Let's face it, you can't fit 5 reasons in something so tiny

You should visit our award winning interstates. The potholes are only bad between the New York, and Ohio state lines. The rest is smooth sailing, with no staties from horizon to horizon. Also, all the rest stops are closed, and the holes in the road are colloquially referred to as 'shovel ready jobs'. Also, tobacco is cheaper in other states.
Yeah, we got nothing.

Allahpundit 1.) doesn't like Romney; 2.) knows his market, which is for doom and gloom and secretly hoping for Obama's reelection to "teach people a lesson." So he's only acting in his own perceived self-interest by demoralizing people.
But I feel the same way. He really just wants an opportunity to post the "happy winking Obama" photo because it pisses people off. He thinks of it as force-feeding us our lima beans, metaphorically speaking. I'm a little sick of it.

You forgot one. Or two.
Outside of PA, if you want a six pack of beer...you just go to the store. Hell, if you want a case, you just go to the store. Here in PA, if you want less than twelve beers, you have to buy them at the bar. If you want more than twelve, but less than 24, you go to a special beer store, (where, if you want to purchase two twelve packs, they have to ring them up separately , and they have to put the first twelver outside the door before they ring up the next). If you want a case of beer, you have to go to yet another special store....and god forbid you want to buy a bottle of wine.

Usually a state line is marked with a sign. Here in PA-DE it is simply marked with a liquor store. Brandywine Liquors just 2 miles away, across the street from the HS of course.

Since the media is on their side and that strategy has worked for them in the past and as soon as they find something that sticks they will beat it to death, necromancy revive it and then beat it to death again, rinse repeat... but still their desperate tactics are still a good sign. But when an angry mob has grown desperate you still aren't what I would call "safe" just that their might be an opening if you are clever and quick on your feet.

One of Romney’s communication strategists says that while he’s not counting chickens before they’ve hatched, he’s pleasantly surprised by how flatfooted the Obama camp has proven on these breaking stories. “They have 700 people in Chicago — 50 percent of their staff is social media,” the strategist says. “I’m afraid to be happy about it, because they can’t be this weak. . . . I wonder if some of this comes from the attitude: ‘How dare anyone question our commitment to women’s issues? We own women’s issues; no one can ever outmaneuver us on this.’ That kind of attitude invites you to get embarrassed.”

The neo-con is an idealist, often by way of Trotskyism, who thinks that the USA can be a force of good in the world. Many neo-cons are, yes, Jews but not exclusively. The neo-con is mainly a Lincoln Republican, or at least sees himself as one. The neo-con sees goodness as freedom and prosperity, and is generally libertarian. The neo-con supports democracy in the Near East, assuming that democracy will lead to goodness. The neo-con supports Israel only insofar as he sees Israel as a bastion of goodness, not because it is Jewish.
m3R4Y: That's a summary of my beliefs up to 2006, and to a more subdued extent up to 2009. I know whereof I speak.
Neoconservatism is a mistake, and I repudiate it, denounce myself and the rest of it. But what it is NOT is a form of Jewish nationalism.
Jewish nationalism just says that Arabs suck and need to be taken down several pegs, that Islam is evil, and that Israel is the homeland of the Jewish race. If America *did* make that set of beliefs its lodestone for foreign policy, I'd feel much better on tax day.

Voted today in PA. The Romney Collective and its Super PAC Deathstar got my vote.
Have to say the two interesting races statewide were the Senate Republican Primaries and the Democratics Attorney General Race.
Senate Race:
Welch was the establishment favorite, unfortunately for him he's running in year where the establishment is not well liked. He also had the endorsement of Gov. Corbett, but Corbett has not impressed a lot of statewide Republicans
Sam Rohrer - Nice guy, but he just doesn't have the right stuff
Tom Smith - I voted for him. He's from out west, great story, and in the last couple weeks he has surged after spending some of his own money on adverstising. Overall, it looks like Smith will win the "honor" of taking on Casey unless something dramatic changes in the returns

Neocons are just war loving liberals who have too much influence in the Republican party. It has nothing to do with Jews. Last time I looked, Dick Cheney and Marco Rubio aren't Jewish. These anti-Semites use Neocon as an insult to Jews an dit makes it harder for Conservative and Libertarian critics of the failure of Neoconservatism to make their case.
Take Syria for example. The Neocon want the US to invade and thanks to idiots like A Flea On A Dog's Ass, its difficult to critic them without being called a anti-Semite.

The more precise question is: "Do the majority of Americans want to survive by the fruits of their own efforts?"

Funny, I can't find anything encouraging martyrdom in the Bible or the Torah.
But...oddly....I can in the Quran. Fancy that.
I digested Bernard Lewis too, and took Arabic and ME studies at Boston University and I'm more convinced that ever Islam is incompatible with the modern world. So at this point, it's them or us.
Yes, the religion IS the problem.

Not many in my experience. My last tour before retirement was Iraq, and it cemented my attitude about Islam - and that was after being sent for what amounted to a Masters degree in ME studies. My experience is not unusual either.
I think you might find wishy-washyness about Islam a bit more common in the enlisted ranks, and doubly so in the support branches. Combat arms guys get to see jihadi handiwork up close and personal, and they hold no illusions about the "Religion of Peace" :: spit ::

(Here's a link [on id] from 2010 from Harvard ISS that may be of interest. -- BLOCKED!) - No Harvard links here I guess!
Here is some:
The commander of Saudi forces in the Gulf, Prince Khaled bin Sultan bragged in his memoir that more than 2,000 American troops converted to Islam through this campaign. “These Muslim troops are now the messengers of Islam in the U.S. forces,” said Dr. Abu Ameena Bilal Phillips, a Jamaican-born convert to Islam (1972) who worked during the Gulf war under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force while converting U.S. troops to Islam in his spare time. After the war, Phillips moved to the United States to “set up Islamic chapters in the U.S. Defense Department.”

Pisses me off too.
Just once I'd like a U.S. General (like Mathis) say something like, "I'll get real upset about my Marines (soldiers, sailors, etc.) doing something like that when I see the President of Afghanistan get real upset over his troops killing mine. Until then, fuck off."
He'd be relieved immediately, but he'd never buy a drink ever again in his life.

There is LESS evidence for Muhammad's life than there is for Jesus's. But this is not to say that there is NO evidence. Those who recorded both stories let slip often-self-contradictory accounts which might have made their subjects look bad according to the religions' later doctrines.
In Jesus's case, the virgin birth is a problem, the baptism by some other prophet is a problem, and the crucifixion is a problem. In Muhammad's case, that he was a merchant is a problem (to Arab warlords), and that he killed a lot of Jews in Madina is a problem (to Islamic legal specialists).
Bart Ehrman calls this the Dissimilarity Principle: if the original texts are passing on stuff they'd be expected to be embarrassed about, then it's probably TRUE.
But that means it's probably true that Jesus and Muhammad did exist.

Yes, that's about the quality of the argument.
And if you really think about it, that's a Marxist interpretation of religious history.

The virgin birth is an issue because Jesus was supposed to be the Messiah, and descended from the male line from David. Matthew gets around it by having God mediate Joseph's transfer of DNA to Mary. Luke does it un-Jewishly by just conceiving Jesus by God's Will and drawing the Messianic lineage through Mary. Luke is basically retelling the Perseus legend (first noted by Justin Martyr, IIRC).
The baptism by John is a problem because Jesus is supposed to be bigger than John. Jesus should be baptising John.
The crucifixion hangs Jesus on a tree and curses Jesus, by Torah law.
So all three of these pose a big problem for Christianity as a Jewish sect. Which is why they all have multiple solutions in the NT. But the "problem" for (Jewishly minded and early) Christians is the opposite of a problem for historians.
