Proverb of the Day
— Ace

Proverbs 29:9

When a wise man has a controversy with a foolish man, The foolish man either rages or laughs, and there is no rest.

Via Twitchy, from @RightInAmerica.

I re-watched it. It was like having an argument with your drunk, blowhard, dullwitted uncle at Thanksgiving. And your drunk blowhard dullwitted uncle, who is superior to you only in age, keeps asserting he's right about everything by shouting "I WAS THERE!!!"

The biggest issue of the debate to me was Biden's claim that the  intelligence community  were the one's telling the administration that the Benghazi attack was due to the video.  Like Brit Hume said, "Biden threw the intelligence community under the bus."

CIA analysts are probably downloading copies of their memos warning of terrorist threats in Benghazi as I am writing this.

He kept interrupting Ryan so much that at one time Ryan tried to tell him about congress working together with the president like it was a new concept for biden. But, the entire debate showed why this administration has gotten nothing done with congress. If you thought it wasn't the administration, that it was congress, last night you saw why it wasn't congress. The other night you saw a non communicative president and last night you had attack dog joe. If the administration is playing "good cop, bad cop" with congress like it appears, no wonder nothing has gotten done.

Hello! Hello! Hello!  It is I, Hadji, the Comic who is Muslim.

The Moran with a Koran, for you tea party people among us.

Hadji watched the debates last night.   "But, Hadji" you say "There was only one debate last night."

No, no, no, no,  no - my friends.  There was the debate among Paul Ryan and Joe Biden and there was the debate in Joe Biden's head.

By Hadji's count that makes for two debates.

Looking at the television last night, the debate in Joe's head must have been quite the ha-ha fest.

Hadji has seen people who are like Joe while Hadji does his comedy.   They are low-tipping, waitress pestering, unfunny scum -

Not the good type of scum like what we have on our youghurt  but the bad type of scum, the kind that a camel gets between its toes when it has been too long tied to the same place.

Both are Catholics so I wondered why she put that question in in the first place. Joe used it to ruminate and wax poetic. But I was commenting on that question of faith and starting to say that the left will read everything that Ryan was saying about faith wrong. And two people, who voted for obama in 2008 interrupted me with "slow your roll, he didn't say he's going to take away your rights" I thought that was very telling last night.

99 Erevis over on Ar15.com crunched the numbers:

In the VP debate, Biden interrupted Ryan 82 times. The moderator interrupted Ryan 34 times, for a total of 116 times in a 90 minute debate.

Now, let's break that down further:

Biden spoke for 41:50 minutes. Ryan spoke for 40.05 minutes.

This means that Ryan was interrupted by either Biden or the moderator EVERY 20.73 SECONDS.

Try making ANY POINT under such assault.

104 The way I see it, it's clear that Biden's strategy was to attempt to get under Paul Ryan's skin with his derisive and dismissive attitude and his constant interruptions and boorish behavior.  Paul Ryan didn't fall for the bait and that alone shows he's a better man for the job.

A guy from Ireland on a local talk show pretty much confirmed ace's assessment. First he identified himself as a member of the drunken Irishman club. Then he said watching Biden reminded him of family dinners where the drunks all get belligerent and shout words without meaning, while unsuspecting guests look on, mouths agape.

The guests in this analogy would be the undecideds.

Somehow, ol' goofball, harmless, affable Joe got substituted for the Real Deal because his gaffes are so numerous as to make him seem the clown. Alas, the guy isn't a clown. 134 Biden is still blaming US Intelligence

Joe resents those who know better, who told him so FAR IN ADVANCE.

So the Obama administration is just that stoooooooopid because there is no "intelligence" they bother considering.

Obama failed to attend his intelligence briefings. THAT was headline news for over a month before the Ambassador's assassination along with the murders of our government officials in Libya. Obama failed to attend intelligence briefings while and after the attack in Libya. He chose to party in Las Vegas instead.

Aside from the obvious blow back in diplomatic security abroad, blaming US Intelligence, claiming there was none, leads to further abuses against our own Natural Rights and civil liberties already ignored/dissolved by the dictator Obama/Holder.

Also, regarding Biden/Obama "honoring" our returning military veterans, then WHY WAS OBAMA/Napolitano FIRST DHS MEMO defining our veterans as domestic terrorists to be targeted for surveillance as enemies of the State?

141 Bad News:

Biden was wrong about nuclear weapons as well.

The hard part is getting enough Uranium.

The easy part is building a weapon. If you can build an artillery piece, you can build a uranium gun-style nuclear weapon.

We didn't even do a full-scale test of the Little Boy bomb before we dropped it. That is how easy a uranium gun-method nuclear weapon is to make.

Anecdotal For What It's Worth:

Watched the debate with an uninformed voter and a newly informed voter just getting knowledgeable about issues:

The Completely Uninformed voter was disgusted with Biden: "That old one? He yells his answers and then laughs at the young guy. That's rude. That Ryan guy is serious and polite and the old one isn't even listening to him because he won't stop smiling and laughing. And the young one isn't saying anything laughable, he's serious and has some good ideas.  Why is the old one doing that?"

The Newly Informed voter: "What's with Biden and the smiling? It's creeping me out. He looks like a child molester."

They both thought Ryan won by a mile.
