Romney leads Obama by 11 in Virginia
— CAC

Per Kimball Political, reported here.

PDF here.

One caveat- he deliberately used Gallup's D/R/I split in weighting the sample- R+1. Adjusted to match more Democratic samples, it would still give Romney a substantial lead.

In light of the evidence that typical Media organizing for Obama (MOFO) has to end when the last dog has, indeed, died - well, it makes sense.

117 Yeah, we have had it with OB.  Virginia is a wonderful place to live and that bunch needs to move far away.  Today I was happy to see that H. Clinton's supporters are mad at Barry after she took the fall for Libya.  They are inflamed with rage!  Perfect timing,  Hillary.

I can vouch for that from the ladies in my family. My prediction? Barry will try to act the adult in chief, and say, it falls all on him, he's fully responsible, ya know, try and get the ladies's votes back.  Funny, how he had to be forced into it.

122 Well, let's not dose acid and smoke crack all at once.  Yes, obviously, Romney   is ahead in VA and is a likely bet in VA.  But he won't win it by 11 points.  Not even close.  In '04 Bush was a wartime incumbent president who   was presiding over a growing economy and he only won VA by 8 points.  VA   has a much higher than average percentage of blacks along with large numbers   of federal government workers and contractors, young students and the hyper   wealthy.  Romney + 4 would be a good result.  In any event, Fla. appears   locked up.   Romney is ahead in VA.  Obviously the media polls alleging   Obama in the lead in OH are bunk.  I suspect Romney is up in OH by 1.0 -   2.0 points.  OH will be close.  The zombie-Democrat turnout in Cleveland will   be colossal in scope.  Romney is in good shape.  But there's plenty of work   still to be done.

126 Obviously President Obama would like to win all 50 states, but that is unrealistic. So Virginia may go to Romney? So what. All that means is that Obama has more money to spend where it counts. He doesn't need Virginia to win, so it isn't a big deal, and logistically it probably helps being able to concentrate his efforts in fewer states.

When he takes 300 electoral votes all of you amateur pollsters will be crying into your beers.

199 They should replace "Hail to the Chief" with the Monty Python theme song when ol' Stalin McFuckstupid comes sauntering out. Ah, a guy can dream. Dream of hilarious temper tantrums. ...

200 The post about O moonwalking onto the stage made me chuckle and reminded me how much O sounds like a standup comic. At least at Dem-friendly rallies. You can really hear him slip into that comic cadence and rapport with the audience, which starts whooping and guffawing. Joe was a clown, but O really would be a natural standup comedian after his term. He obviously loves it and feeds on the audience response.

That's when I am at the library, when I am at star bucks, before they kick me out, it changes.

210 122 Well, let's not dose acid and smoke crack all at once. Yes, obviously, Romney is ahead in VA and is a likely bet in VA. But he won't win it by 11 points. Not even close. In '04 Bushwas a wartime incumbent president who was presiding over a growing economy and he only won VA by 8 points. I suspect Romney is up in OH by1.0 - 2.0 points.OH will be close. The zombie-Democrat turnout in Cleveland will be colossal in scope. Romney is in good shape. But there's plenty of work still to be done.

Remember the D's had control over the voting in 08, and there were lots of shenanigans going on during the 08 election, i.e. ACORN and others registering voters and students registering to vote in several different locales.
