— Slublog Earlier this evening, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan held a rally with a few friends in Wisconsin.
Ryan took the opportunity to brag on Wisconsin and throw out some red meat with a smile. Then Romney took the stage and...well...I can't believe I'm writing this about Mitt Freaking Romney but he went out there and was clearly out of bubble gum.
During his speech someone in the crowd heckled him.
The heckler made a poor choice.

Both of them are THRILLED and enthusiastic about Ryan. Mom came out of it last year, said "We were wrong to vote for someone with so little experience."
Don't let the media convince you that all old people are frightened and confused by Ryan. They know that Medicare is untenable, and they don't want to saddle their grandkids with that nightmare.

Went to a Marine's funeral yesterday. On account of a rumor Westboro was going to show up, the three miles from the church to the cemetry were lined with approximately five thousand people. About 600 bikes from the Patriot Guard Riders and other clubs.
Just in case.
Part of the route went past an assisted living place. The facility was set back from the road, up a slight hill. On top of the hill, in front of the building, were probably three dozen folks, some in wheel chairs, attended by staff, with flags.
My father is in one of those places. For his ninetieth bd, we got a copy of his WW II Silver Star cite and framed it to hang in his room. Turns out that a lot of his male buddies are vets. The women, of course, lived through it.
I don't know if they sing "God Bless America" in school any longer, but they do in the old folks' homes.
Not afraid of how they'll vote. They've seen people try to put them on for seventy years.

Agree with several of your other points, but we should be glad they didn't have more babies. We don't need them. If anything we need less - we can't figure out enough ways to employ all the people we already have, and employment is the only way for most people to participate in the economy. Human labor is increasingly redundant. Useless. Indeed, it is especially good that the libtarded side of the population cut back on breeding - we have too many Dem voters as it is. My cousin died in 2005 at the age of 62 with unpaid student loan debt from the 70s. He could have easily dealt with it but was a pathological avoider of unpaid debts. He also had a collection of parking tickets you could use to create a travelogue of the nation. There were tickets in his collection from places nobody had ever heard him mention visiting.

The important thing is for Romney to stay on-message. This means just enough defense, followed by a massive Unemployment and The Economy pummeling, with an occasional Fast and Furious jab.
Never let Axelturf go on offense. Axelturf canot defend himself (i.e., his client, BO). Axelturf's previous campaigns have been all about diaqualifying the opposition, then finding dirt on them and forcing them to spend all their time and resources defending themselves. Axelturf has minimal "spin" skills (admittedly, The Mayo Clinic of Spin is needed) but he has no skill at a heads-up issues-and-performance campaign.
From the looks of this video, Romney is going to force Axelturf to defend. This means really bad results for Obama ...
I expect Obama to back out of the debates.
