Got picked up in the spring for trying to by booze under age and about a month later he was arrested for holding an underage party at his parent's estate where some girl got very sick. I got a gas mask when I was there in 2003, before the Gulf War. The whole kit. We were told to carry them around with us but very few people did. Tl Aviv cleared out like crazy, though. One reporter did a great bit where he went to the airport and interviewed famous Israelis who were leaving (most went to Eilat for a 'movie festival' that had it's largest attendance ever, oddly enough) by asking them, "Why are you running away from Tel Aviv?" It was a gas.

He said he was at the FRC the day it happened and the shooter was going for a head shot, but the security guard got suspicious when lefty larda$$ was reaching under his jacket and reacted in enough time to knock the shooter's arm upwards, getting the security guard a shot in the wrist.The security guard wrestled larda$$ to the ground with his good arm.

Back in the day my wife swooned over Jimmy Smits; he just looked like your garden variety PR to me. I'd never have picked him (or George Clooney, for that matter) out as a heartthrob.
