I agree with this because he's a real man; not some needy metro twat like the Indonesian.  And his authenticity cuts through like a laser because he doesn't need to prove anything about himself because there's no guile to him.  If you need something done he'll say yay or nay and work accordingly.  And his voice stays calm because he can kick any motherfucker's ass who gets in his face; and because everybody knows that, never has to do it.

132 Question for musical Morons I have constantly been forgetting to ask:

Is there an actual technical musical term for a part during a song (we're talking pop music, not classical) when some of the instruments are silenced (often it's just singing over the percussion track)?  It seems primarily a staple of hard rock/cheese metal --examples that come to mind are the last verses or some closing refrains of "You Give Love a Bad Name," Quiet Riot's "Cum on Feel the Noiz" (or however they misspell it), and "We're Not Gonna Take It."

Usually any time you drop all but the rythem section it's called a 'Breakdown'.  It's always called a breakdown the Chorus part just identifies its location in the song.

Sometimes you drop everything and it's called a 'Cut'.

Interesting question. There are musical notations for "rest" (silencing the instrument) for different lengths of beats but as for the entire band going silent except for vocals, I don't know.

He has a history of being for a 'version' of the Dream Act.....dating back to when he was in the Florida legislature. ....Which varies slightly from the Dem's version, but it is still full of rewards for people who are here illegally, and their children.

 

This has been largely forgotten, until in recent days, Rubio brought it up and talked about proposing a 'GOP version of the Dream Act' in the Senate.

 

From what I understand....this 'version' gives tuition breaks to children of illegals, as a 'path to citizenship', as well as incentives for illegals to join the military. ....Just like the Dem version of the Dream Act, this version is seen as a slap in the face to all the people who have come here legally.

Rubio has made a couple of questionable moves that should give pause. For one, he pushed for a unanimous vote on fast-tracking Georgia into NATO. Rand Paul is the one who stepped in.

Given my choice, I would choose Rand Paul or Paul Ryan for V.P. although I think both might be far too valuable where they are.

Until her recent questionable actions, she has been very popular in Jax. She has taken heat from the local independent press for filling our jail to over-capacity and for refusing to feel sorry about their cramped quarters: "They are living in better conditions than our soldiers overseas."

It is not surprising that she is running unopposed.

The only thing it is missing is the way the Dem's version of the law was worded it provided an instant qualification for tens of thousands of illegals to citizenship. His doesn't have that probably only because it has not been written up yet.

This is an instant loser for Republicans.

I know what you mean, but I can't agree that Cain "talked sense" --- "999" was a liberal claptrap with Aff/Act in it and he never made any sort of "sense" when he was asked about abortion, Libya, or the many women coming out accusing him of harrassment.
