16 OMFG, my paused on demand just reverted back to regular television where I had the absolute misfortune of hearing the dickwad CBS evening news guys discussing how global warming caused the fires in New York and that hurrican season is going to be horrendous this year because of it. At least I think that's what they were saying, I was too busy tripping over the dog and screaming loudly at the television to capture every word.

Oh, praise be, willow.  I was fearful that you had something horribly wrong.  It not you, it's me.  I've gone from being worked half to death to being bored stupid and, frankly, I prefer the former.  I'm at work all day thinking, should I stick a pen in my eye and go to the ER just for some excitement?  It sux.

And, buzzion, I know how stupid that is, but I lived in Santa-fuckin'-Monica for many years and the "news at 11" were always out there and I would say that and they would simply pale and point their cameras elsewhere.  Not a lot of rocket scientists among the "journalist" crowd.

Meg Ryan has destroyed her looks.  Then, of course, there's the Queen of Botox Nicole Kidman.  I was watching Flirting the other night and holy hell she looks like a completely different person now.

108 By the time this season is over, there won't be anyone left in Raylan's little town. I'm getting kind of tired of the killing. It's like Chicago on a Saturday night.

Southland, though, I miss. Come baaack!

111 Cameron had a pretty interesting special on the Titanic wreckage but the libtard son of a bitch had to compare the Titanic to "climate change". They just can't help themselves.

****

He's a pretentious shit and I don't like his movies, but his absolute determination to nailing every detail of the Titanic for the movie was impressive. His willingness to put his own ass on the line to dive to the deepest, coldest, darkest, loneliest place on earth is fucking awe-inspiring.

That map in the sidebar really put his accomplishment in context today.

130 ""and Ashley Judd and I think John Derbyshire at the end.""

I'd like a John Derbyshire discussion, but as Vic said on Easter Sunday after Andy accused him of being a racist, we simply cannot, in this US of A, or on this Ace of Spades, have an honest discussion about race without it devolving into hideousness.  I guess.

So quit  referring to it or have some balls and quit being, as Holder says," a nation of cowards".

By the way, you can go over to PJ media and see J Christian Adams have a reasonable discussion, or over to the Blaze, where there are also reasonable discussions.  But the commenters aren't anywhere near as entertaining or literate as you find here.  I'm sorry Ace doesn't trust us to "do the right thing". heh.

143 I just finished watching the season 3 finale of Justified. The body count isn't as high as I thought it would be, but there were some nice plot twists. Overall, seasons 1 and 2 had better plotting than the current season. Still, because of the fascinating characters and solid acting, I'll be back for season 4.
