Regarding the gays in the White House hating Reagan.  Read the David Horowitz autobiography.  One of the main reasons he went from hard, hard core lefty to conservative was aids.  He saw the spread of aids in S.F. and the liberal gay loving political establishment refusing to do anything to shut down the gay bath houses for fear of branding aids a gay disease.

The majority of deaths due to aids is from liberal politicians refusing to admit and deal with the cause of aids for fear of assigning blame.

And their new homemade ginger beer is tasty. When I take myself out to lunch by myself I usually get two appetizers (Northern dry-braised spare ribs are good as is the tuna tartare they just added, also the spicy green beans), the ginger beer, and sit outside.

You know, as much as I know that everything Obama wrote in Dreams From My Father was a lie, I'm still amazed at how BRAZEN some of the lies are.    This one is new to me, though I'm sure not to others.   From Ron Radosh's latest over at PJM, "ObamaÂ’s Life and the Truth: David Maraniss Almost Regrets Telling the Real Story"

Other fabrications found by Maraniss include that Hussein Onyango, Obama’s paternal grandfather, was not whipped and tortured by the British. Nor was his Indonesian stepfather killed by Dutch soldiers in the fight for independence. Maraniss calls it a “concocted myth in almost all respects.” The truth was far more simple and hardly one to call up reverence: he “fell off a chair at his home with (sic) trying to hang drapes, presumably suffering a heart attack.”

I never like to laugh at anyone's death, but... COME  ON.   Barry goes through all teh trouble of trying to make his stepfather sound like Teh Roxerz, all badass and killed by eeeeeeevil Europeans, and the truth is that the guy keeled over while hanging drapes.      It's kind of like having someone tell you you're descended from royalty, only to find out your actually descended from a chambermaid who worked    in the general vicinity of the palace,   but never actually went inside.

Well, in fairness, the population of people most likely to get AIDS overlap pretty significantly with the moonbat population.  Drug use?  Check.  Promiscuous sex?  Check.  Etc.  Thus, it didn't really seem like there was a need to have a separate moonbat-specific strain.  Sorta redundant...

I'll tell you something. Something I've never told anyone. When I was fifteen, I went to Macedonia on a school trip, to the site of Alexander The Great's palace. And for the first time in my whole life, I felt ... I felt I was home. This place was where I belonged. Years later, I got friendly with a hypnotherapist - Donald - and told him about the Alexander the Great thing, and he said that he'd regress me back through my past lives. I was dubious, but I let him put me under. It turned out my instincts were absolutely correct. I had lived a past life in Macedonia. That palace was my home. Because, believe it or not, Lister, he told me that, in a past incarnation, I was Alexander the Great's chief eunuch.

The thing is that we (conservatives, moderates, the sane) will never satisfy the Lib LGBTQ-ers because they simply can't be satisfied. Their cause is political and eternal. Their pathetic whining and hijacking of the Civil Rights movement got gays into the military and convinced a half dozen States to allow gay marriage, but they don't dial back the hatred one bit.
