135 It's funny, my kid was born overseas (in a military hospital, so he is considered a native born citizen) to a Korean mother and an American father (me).  At no time has my son considered himself anything other than American.  He is cognizant (of course) that he is half Korean but he culturally and spiritually feels no connection to that land.  It has to do with the attitudes of those who raise you, of how they present our native culture.

I always expressed a love of country and my wife always told our son that he had the opportunity to be anything he wanted here.  That never happened in Barky's formative years, regardless of in what country he physically was located.
