The Mile High Massacre: Post-Massacre Pictures Emerge
— Ace

sowhodoyouthinkwonhoney.jpg
"So who do you think won, honey?"

Via The Washington Examiner.

At the same place, Michael Barone argues Obama's Loving Media has smothered him and left him unable to fend for himself.

Romney was looking confident, with consistent smiles; Obama was constantly looking downward, on the defensive, irritated and—astonished.

Astonished, because during most of his public career Obama has been received by his audiences with undiluted adulation. He has been totally unused to being challenged on his talking points.

At the Washington Times, it's Reagan-Carter Redux.

Party like itÂ’s 1980!

Bewildered and lost without his teleprompter, President Obama flailed all around the debate stage last night. He was stuttering, nervous and petulant. It was like he had been called in front of the principal after goofing around for four years and blowing off all his homework.

Not since Jimmy Carter faced Ronald Reagan has the U.S. presidency been so embarrassingly represented in public. Actually, thatÂ’s an insult to Jimmy Carter.

The split screen was most devastating. Mitt Romney spoke forthrightly, with carefully studied facts and details at the ready. He looked right at the president and accused him of being miles out of his depth.

Mr. Obama? His eyes were glued to his lectern, looking guilty and angry and impatient with all the vagaries of Democracy. This debate was seriously chaffing him.

People are talking about body language, which was annoying me, because I thought Romney was winning on words. As I was live-blogging, I "saw" the debate as a radio debate, only occasionally looking up from my screen.

However, I do now see the big difference in body language. From the Corner:

17 For all of you worried that Romney will not be able to keep this going, stop. Romney took this thing to a whole different level last night and Barry wasn't able to respond. Not because he didn't want to, because he can't and never could. The reason many of us have been so frustrated over e last few years with the smug dick in the WH is because most of what he said was such obvious bullshit he could only survive with a complicit msm. On the debate stage, they can't save him and Romney didn't just get lucky last night, he's just that good. Always has been. Romney has the facts on his side and mor, he really, really wants this thingbecause this is what he does, he fixes shit. and this is his Mt Everest. Stock up on popcorn. The next 2 debates will be a bunch of fun.

18 Winning a debate isn't winning an election. That will be more difficult. Especially with the edge the Democrats have in the Living-Challenged vote.

If it's here in the US, can you please probe or keep your ears open to see if they know about the Hampton video? Yesterday, I talked briefly with a construction contractor originally from Bolivia. He asked me WTF? because the video was being discussed in a highly negative (for Obama) light on Spanish-language radio here in the DC area. I think Obama screwed himself bigtime when he got haughty with Jorge Ramos.

Add another 5% democrats to the polls, and use more women and kids!

Do you think they will believe it if we say all mormons are racist members of the KKK?

Time to start the stories about rethuglican voter suppression.  Can we get someone to say a republican beat them up for their Obama T-shirt?   Preferably an elderly black lesbian with a visible handi-cap?  What do you mean, no one wears Obama T-Shirts anymore?   OK, how about the story that they were told blacks are supposed to vote on November 8th?  Can we say that deer in Austin was paid by the republicans?

Posted by: The Pope of Perspicacity at October 04, 2012 07:04 AM (38ReL) Hear, hear! Who the hell would feel bad, in any way, for this miserable piece of America-hating shit who has done so much serious (and irreparabel) damage to our nation? Barky deserves to be crushed like no one on Earth has ever been crushed. He is one of the worst psuedo-people to ever exist on this planet. He's a total prick and a serious threat to civilized people everywhere. He is a fatal disease who needs to be treated as such - and held accountable for all of his serious and myriad crimes. Barky is the lowest of the low. Scum of the Earth. A retard with an attitude who's been out for our destruction and looking to bring pain to US. He is ultimate slime.

At first I thought that picture with Michelle was photoshopped.  That is, Romney triumphant, Obama crushed and Michelle with that hate-filled "I'm gonna kill yo ass, mothafuckah" look on her face (directed at R) that I have seen so many times before.  She is indeed the archetype of what Mrs. Bear calls the "angry black female".

Only watched a little of the debate, but enough to see Romney giving Obambi such a pranging.  I could not believe the outright lies O kept spitting out.  $5 billion in subsidies to the oil companies?  On what planet?  It sure ain't the third one out from the Sun.

And what is this obsession Barry has over "corporate jets"?  He who flies everywhere in the ultimate "corporate jet"?  Most of "the rich" don't own private jets anyway.  If they have one at all, it's leased in one form or another, not bought outright.

Yes, the popcorn and ball/boobeh dipping was good last night...

I watched a few minutes of it in the first hour. Only that, as I can’t stand listening to the Zero. What got me was at one point, Obama said to Lehrer, “You may want to move on to the next point,” and went on to blather what he had to say.
