The Real 1%
— DrewM

The best speech given yesterday wasnÂ’t by Ann Romney, Chris Christie or even Arthur Davis. With all due respect to them (I mean that sincerely, not snarkily), the best speech given yesterday wasnÂ’t even delivered in Tampa. It was delivered to the American Legion here in Indianapolis by Lt. General John Kelly (USMC).

“The Real 1%” wasn’t the title of Genera Kelly’s address but it could have been. In a speech that was alternatively motivating and moving (it wasn’t allergies, I was tearing up), the General covered a wide variety of topics. From the continuing War on Terror (it’s in Africa, Asia, and elsewhere, not just Afghanistan) to the nature of the enemy we fight (“I don’t know why they hate us and I don’t care”) to the dark side of the focus on “diversity” the General covered a wide range of topics.

The most moving part of the GeneralÂ’s talk was when he addressed the disparity in the burdens born by the 1% who volunteer to serve (and their families) and the vast majority who have no direct contact with anyone in the military. An even smaller subset have paid the most frightful price imaginable.

One of the reasons I jumped at the chance to come to LegionÂ’s convention is in my early time here at the HQ a lot of what we were doing focused on Iraq and Afghanistan. My first post as an Open Blogger was about Scott Beauchamp and it was something I felt very strongly about, as did most of the readers here. Since Vietnam the leftwing in this country has sought to downplay the heroism and virtue of the military. More dangerously, they sought to portray veterans as dangerous and damaged people who were victims. Only the faults of the few were to be discussed, never the virtue of the many. Well, the playing field has changed with the advent of alternative and online media. Now we have a platform to push back against the liberal narrative and to highlight the courage, sacrifice and valor of those who willingly serve our nation.

As General Kelly explains, itÂ’s important to those who serve that we who benefit from their protection realize the source of our security.

He never addressed it directly but General Kelly lost a son in Afghanistan during that terrible season for the Marines of 3/5.

ThereÂ’s so much more to this speech, I really encourage you to set aside the time to watch it all.

IÂ’ll leave you with one last excerpt. General Kelly has some very strong views on who we are as Americans and how we should view ourselves.

Lt. General Kelly will soon be promoted to full General and head up the US Southern Command.

BTW- Mitt Romney will be addressing the Legion's convention today at around 3pm eastern. I'll be in the hall for that so follow me on Twitter for bad photos and poorly spelled live updates.

(*Full disclosure: The American Legion invited me out to the convention and covered my travel and lodging expenses. No one from the Legion has seen or asked to see this post and they have no input whatsoever on its content.)

Bout a year or so ago, I was pumping gas and the guy next to me was an older black gentleman wearing a Vietnam Veteran hat. I asked if he served and he said yes. I shook his hand and thanked him. He was blown away. His brother was there with him and they both were in Vietnam. Talked to them both for a few minutes. They were absolutely stunned that I was appreciative and that I spoke up about it. Pissed me off. You see a soldier, a vet, etc, you shake their damn hand, look them in the eye and say thank you. It's the very least you can do.

I can't view the video at work but I do have some thoughts on the 'dark side of Diversity'. First of all, diversity is a GIVEN - in this country more than anywhere else on earth. Just go to any mall or Costco or Wal-Mart and look at the sea of faces -  from all corners of the world  -  and  all Americans. Then try doing the same anywhere else - China, Germany, India, Arabia, Japan...anywhere in the world. And then come back and lecture me...NO... SCOLD  me, about Diversity. I am sick and tired of preachy, leftist nuttards acting as if we were some Aryan stronghold with nothing but white people allowed.

Then look at the word itself - DIVERSITY - the very root of which is "different  from  one another"; "composed of distinct or unlike elements or qualities". The very word focuses on highlighting our differences and fixating on them rather than what we should be highlighting - which is that which UNIFIES us. And while this is the real truth behind the United States, it is even truer in the military - where the only color that matters is green, and every soldier is your brother. And what really frosted me was when GEN Casey, in the aftermath of the FT Hood massacre - couldn't find anything more soldierly to say than 'it would be a tragedy if diversity was a casualty of this event' - or words to that effect. WHO IN THE FUCK GAVE THIS MAN A COMMISSION? And if his virtues - whatever they may have been to get him to his rank and position - are anything more than a shadow, he would have had the honor to resign, rather than to make a pussified, weasely, ass-sucking statement like that. He should be ashamed of himself. Moral courage my ass. This country's soldiers deserve better. A lot better. LTG Kelly sounds like what they deserve.

33 I can't watch the Wounded Warrior commercials that air on Fox News all the time. I have to change the channel because they make me so angry. They are just so undignified and perpetuate the narrative of military members as victims. They smack of the old Sally Struthers commercials for Christian Childrens Fund that showed poor black children living in squalor with flies all over them. My sister worked for a competing organization at the time called Foster Parents Plan and I asked her one day why they didn't make the same kinds of commercials. She got very upset and said they were the worst kind of exploitation. She said that not only were they insulting to very people who needed help, they were ineffective in getting people to contribute because they presented a hopeless narrative instead of the hopeful one FPP believed in.  But I also can't stand the WW commercials because of what I learned back during the Swift Boat Vets controversy in 2004. I read their site and links to sites like Wintersoldier and discovered that the whole narrative of the deranged Vietnam Veteran suffering from PTSD was a myth. Even the stories of returning soldiers being spit on and called baby killers were myths. There's no way to prove it never happened, but every high profile example could never be proved by people who tried to investigate these stories.  I don't know.  I'm sure Wounded Warriors does great work, I just wish they had more dignified commercials.

We could not afford to send anyone from my post this year and your reporting from the scene is a way for us to feel like we were there.
This is a very difficult time for our men and women in Afghanistan. They are under attack from both the enemy and our government. I urge all Americans to join one of the many groups to be found with a simple search of the net who send support and encouragement thru care packages and letters. If you do not feel that you can commit to signing up to send a package a month, would you please open your heart and your wallet to a group that will send a package in your name.
Thanks again.

Hell, he doesn't even know what a freakin mission is. My mom and I were talking about this a few days ago. Either decide what the mission is and do it or bring them home. That goes for whoever is in the White House. Develop a mission, do everything possible to succeed in that mission and then come home. I know, I know, no plan survives first contact and mission plans and objectives change but at least have some overall goal that's concrete and work towards that.

42 BCochran1981: I have an ACU gym bag. It isn't a fashion statement - when I was at Benning, the only bags allowed into the gym were black (no logos) or ACU. So I bought one, and didn't get another on leaving active duty. Most of the time I pay no attention to the ineffective camouflage color scheme. Not long ago I was coming back to my office after a workout, and one of our Facilities guys asked me about the bag. I told him I'd been on active duty recently, and he asked if I'd deployed. Yes, I said. Iraq or Afghanistan? Afghanistan. He offered me his hand and thanked me. And you, sir? I asked. Were you in the military? Yes, he said. Army, '68 to '72. And did you - Yes, he said. Two tours. I didn't quite know what to say. I offered my hand and thanked him in turn. I added that I feel a bit guilty - because I've been thanked more than I've earned, and Vietnam vets, much less. He sort of waved it away. He said when people ask about what sort of hell he'd been through, he always remembers the Vietnamese civilians he encountered. He very briefly described some of what he saw them endure, mostly at the hands of the VC or NVA, and said they had it a lot tougher than he did. And, Soona: Thank you.

I do not like to dwell on it, but, my 1st Infantry Combat Infantry Viet Nam Veteran husband died a long, slow agonizing death from Agent Orange poisoning.  It took over ten years.  There are many VN veterans who are despartely ill with it.  My husband was spit upon in the Oakland airport when he returned and was called a baby killer to his face by some young women carrying peace signs.  He also had PTSD, I saw how he changed when he was having a flashback.  One time one of his draft deferred co-workers asked him how many women, children, and babies he killed in VN.

51 Drew, thanks for posting this. General Kelly obviously gets it and he is a great man. It disgusts me how the pentagon has been overrun with ivy league educated sissy boys. Can you imagine if we had today's leadership in ww2? Hell, we lost 10,000 men just on d-day. The current pantywaists brass wouldn't have had the balls to do what Eisenhour or Patton did. I am so sick of the goddam ROE that we saddle our fine young men and women with. The job of the military is to beat the enemy so badly he gives up the will to fight. But we can't do that, that would be "mean." Well fuck them, they started it, our country has been under attack from radical Islam since they captured our embassy in Tehran. Men like General Kelly get it. And honestly, I think Mitt gets it too. He knows he isn't a military man so he will empower the true warriors to get the job done. I say as this as a former 11B infantryman.

This is all true, but you ignore the rather obvious fact that the reason they are able to do these things is because the war was lost and everything they did was thus retroactively deemed futile. If the Vietnam war ended victoriously, none of it would have been taken seriously. Just like nobody cares about the nasty shit that went down in World War II or Korea because they were total/partial victories. I don't see how I'm supposed to take seriously anyone who says they support the military, but not the mission they are actually risking their lives for. This would involve at bare minimum not repeating the Vietnam experience where the war could have ended well, but did not thanks to backstabbers back home. Now, I don't think anyone here is actually a leftist-style backstabber, but you certainly help them along when you blandly demand surrender because of this or that setback.

Oh, really.   When I seperated from the service the first time when I got back from Vietnam, the NCO's at Ft.  Ord told us that in order to leave the post we had to be in full military uniform, but  strongly suggested that  we keep a change of civilian clothes at the top of our duffel bag so that we could immediately change once we got to the SF airport.

He said we'd be asking for trouble there if we stayed in uniform.  And after we got there, we realized he was telling the truth.  There were people there just waiting for the next batch of soldiers from Ord to arrive.

82 I hope it is not too OT to say that this jolts me into an awareness of how effectively the media has taken the sacrifices of this real 1% off the table, for the purpose of protecting their favorite President. This ability to completely desensitize our society to issues of war and peace that were so recently central to our national conversation, and to do so out of political expediency, is a truly frightening example of the power of the unelected media in service of elected leaders they approve of. Is this my country anymore? I don't think so - I think it belongs to the media.

Same here, for every generation back to WWI including Korea and Vietnam.

It wasn't until learning more about Vietnam that I realized the horrible disrespectful treatment that some in this country paid to our veterans that I was compelled to offer such simple gestures as thanking a complete stranger for his/her service.  I am proud to be able to help right some of the wrongs that some of the selfish, enlightened MFing baby boom generation have wrought upon these great individuals.

85 Yes, every man in my family served.  My Dad and Uncle (Dad's baby sister's husband), Marines in WWII and Korea respectively.  My Dad was a welder and had an automatic deferment, he went to enlist and they turned him down several times.  He finally told them that he had quit his welding job and would not take another one, so they let him enlist.  The Marines taught him how to weld the rubberized fuel tanks on their airplanes.  My Dad's brother was in the Navy.  My Mother's only brother was a Captain in the Army.  The only one who did not serve was my Grandpa, he tried to enlist, but, he was too old.  He was also a welder.  He did some welding on the Manhattan Project.  He was a scrappy guy, he was doing some welding in a shipyard during the war and a gang of 4Fs told him he was working too hard and making them look bad, so he had to slow down.  He looked them up and down and told them, "I have two sons on ships in this war and I am not slowing down for anyone.  None of you are big enough and tough enough to slow me down, now get out of my way and get back to work."  He never told the story, it was his wife's brother who saw it happen who like to tell it.

It didn't happen but it was still a good speech. Ann Romney's was also. I feel like the pandering to women was shameful but my wife liked it so I guess that stuff works. Rush is lauding the nonprimetime speakers. The we have to not drive off the mush heads argument makes sense but the Dems never worry about that they can say whatever the hell they want. It seems like a crisis of confidence.

RE: Rush's take on the RNC.   I think the reason he's disappointed in Christie's speech is precisely BECAUSE it's Christie.  In the party Christie is a rock star precisely because he's blunt and harsh and isn't afraid to call an idiot an idiot.  He's unique in the RNC on that count; Allen West is the only other "firebrand" of that sort who comes to mind.  So Rush would doubtless view a less-than-firebrandish speech by Christie as a missed opportunity; nobody else currently on the ticket to speak is going to have that same expectation.

But I also think, if you look at the themes of each day of the convention, it makes sense.

TUESDAY:  We Built It

WEDNESDAY: We Can Change It

THURSDAY: We Believe In America

On the "We Built It" day, you don't want to go talking about the idiot who's currently destroying everything that's been built.     It's implied in the name anyway; "We Built It, Mr. President.  The government didn't build it for us."

But we'll see.   It's the GOP, so milquetoast is always at the top of the menu.

Angus, if you were on a boomer, you served. My older brother was on the USS Pulaski for years.

I have some stories, but they are mostly tame by comparison to some of the exciting hunting the ruskies, lying low and listening to enemy radio traffic, retrieving underwater cable recrorders, and inserting SEALS off of a hostile beach types.

The most noteworthy involved a real switchboard fire while underway.  You train, and train, and train some more about what to do in the event of various casualties; the general alarm sounds, you go to your station, suit up, etc. I did not find out about it until the following morning at chow.  I slept right through the general alarm, and the guy that ultimately put it out ran back to the engineroom in his running shorts with no fire or breathing protection.  Just a CO2 fire extinguisher.  All that training, and instinct kicks in and you do what you have to do. Apparently my instinct was more beauty sleep.

I wouldn't say they're tailoring it to SATISIFY the narrative, since the media narrative is "Republicans Are Evil Racists Who Hate Women And Kill People."   Rather, the RNC is trying to actively REFUTE that narrative; something that is completely futile.   The media doesnt' care what the RNC does; it will squash everything into its narrative, even if what's said and done is in complete contradiction to what the narrative would dictate.     The RNC attendees could sit in a big circle, holding hands and singing "Kumbaya," and the media would call it a "cult-like atmosphere of evangelical dog whistles."

That's why I'd have preferred the RNC went balls-to-the-wall and called it the "Anti-Obama, Pro-America, Red Meat and Potatoes with Salt and a Big Gulp    Convention of     Greatness."

About the only time I've been rendered speechless on a job interview was in the summer of 2006.  I was about 3 months out of the Marines and interviewing for a sales job with the Manheim auto auction in Pensacola.  I had done two interviews with the sales manager and another manager, and apparently done well because they brought me in for an interview with the general manager of the place.

He asks me a bit about my background, I answer, and I notice he's not really looking at me but just kind of staring out of the window behind me.  After I finish telling him about what my job was in the Marines, he asks me if I've been deployed.  I tell him I just got back from Iraq in February.  He then says something like, "How does it feel knowing you've killed people?"  I was taken aback, but I tell him that I've never actually been in combat because my job was to maintain and repair radar systems.  He keeps it up - "But the planes and helicopters that flew out of your base were killing people, and since they needed your radar to operate, you're killing people just as much as if you were pulling the trigger yourself!"  He still won't look me in the eye.

At this point, I'm speechless.  I wanted to jump across the desk and smack him in the mouth, but I want the job, so I sat there for what seemed like an hour trying to think of something to say.  I finally just said that he was free to draw whatever conclusions he wanted, and if people were dying because of my work then I must have been doing a good job.

Boom, interview over.  He mumbled "Thanks for your time" and I left.  The sales manager, who I could tell was anxious to hire me, came over and asked me how it went.  I told him that I didn't think his boss liked veterans much.  Needless to say, I didn't get the job, or even so much as a call back to let me know that I was no longer a candidate.

189 Always maintained that if you profess to support the troops, you must also support the mission. The two are intrinsic--to do otherwise is saying DIRECTLY TO THEIR FACES you consider their effort and sacrifice MEANINGLESS.

Yeah, I don't agree with this either. Do we just assume that politicians fuck everything up except military conflict? Sacrifice is never meaningless, but it is very often unnecessary. My youngest brother is finally home for good after multiple tours during which he lost a lot. His marriage. The life of his best friend. Most of the use of his left arm. 50% of his hearing. A lot. Do I support the mission? Maybe. It's hard to know because nobody seems to be able to explain what the fucking mission is. What does victory look like? What happens if we win? Does the outcome of winning differ substantially from the outcome of not winning? It's the pondering of these questions that keeps me from clinging slavishly to the idea that every military mission is worthy of the sacrifice it demands.

And just for the record - I DON'T expect anyone to make a big deal about military service.  A simple "thanks" is nice, but I never cared or thought less of anyone that didn't do that, and quite frankly I was embarrassed when anyone called me a "hero".  Hero is a word that should be reserved for those who are truly heroic in combat, not for every wrench-turner in uniform on Al-Asad.  Saying thanks is nice, saying nothing is fine, but anyone denigrating military service is just begging to be kicked in the balls.

214 We have troops in South Korea for the same reason we had them in 1950.  They are a trip wire.  A sacrificial anode to make the enemy think we will go to war if they attack and kill our troops.  The enemy now knows that is bull shit when the Donks are in power or control either house of congress.

It was the same reason we had troops in Germany.

At least now the bases in Germany serve as a good staging area for the mideast.

We should bring all of them home and put them on bases on the Southern border to serve as a trip wire there.

The Chinese still fly red flags, but they are on Maybach limos. They are going to buy a retired aircraft carrier and turn it into a disco. The Cold War is over. Been over. We have people to kill that are not in Korea. And yet we have $20k people tied down there. To be in the middle of the biggest shitfest ever if the balloon goes up. If North Korea decides to invade we can get Nikes from Indonesia cheaper anyway.

263 The idea that restrictive ROEs are preventing us from winning is total bullshit. Have we lost any battles because of ROEs? Of course not. We can defeat the enemy wherever he is whenever we want to. The real reason we aren't winning is due to the lack of troops which prevents us from providing adequate security for the country. Obama refused to give the military the bare minimum they thought necessary. The big post-9/11 mistake wasn't "restricted ROEs", it was the failure to reintroduce conscription so that we wouldn't be so overstrained in manpower. If Eisenhower was given no more than 500,000 Allied troops to defeat Germany, that war would have dragged on for 11 years too no matter how much air and artillery they were given.

I shook his hand and said "I just want to thank you for your service", then I went and got my coffee. I happened to get in line behind him and he turned and said "You know, you made my day". I nodded at him and said "And you just made mine, sir.". A service man or woman in line behind me at Chic-Fil-e is going to find that their money is no good when they gets to the register. I actually had a Vietnam Vet buy my beer one night. Party at a buddy's house bout a year ago. I stayed sober so they sent me on a beer run. I'm standing in line juggling a CRAP LOAD of beer. Guy turns around and says "Damn. I'm partying with this guy tonight. I didn't drink that much when I got back from Nam." So I start talking to him, thank him for his service. He tells me about how basically his entire family served. I thank him again. He puts his stuff on the counter and it comes up to $9 and change. He slaps a twenty down and goes "The change is for this good guy behind me." Then grabs his stuff and walks out. I was so stunned I could barely get out a thank you.

Posted by: SH at August 29, 2012 10:47 AM (2XIvU)

288 I think the answer is not that we are going to have to more with less, it will be doing less with less. That's unfortunate, but the path we have chosen as a nation. _________ The media has brought war to the living room--that's the big change. America can no longer conduct a certain type of warfare. That's become a huge handicap since Vietnam.

Even if he doesn't speak at the convention, if Clint Eastwood was just in attendance it would be great.  He's A-list Hollywood, which means the twits in the     entertainment media would be duty bound to actually mention it.  Which means the morons (not the Morons) who get their news solely from Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight would actually ahve reason to pay attention to something important for a change.

And Clint is    bulletproof so far as a    Hollywood blacklist is concerned.   The man has contributed more to Hollywood's growth as an international brand than any of the     modern "movie     stars" combined.

He is the Hollywood honey badger.

307 The idea that restrictive ROEs are preventing us from winning is total bullshit. Posted by: Reality Check at August 29, 2012 02:38 PM (hvzWz) A draft? Bitch please. The problem is not that we don't have enough troops. The problem is that we have missions that are not intended to end in victory. Hell, I don't know what the mission in Afghanistan is today. How do more troops make that better? I know what the mission was. Get AQ, push the Taliban, their hosts, out of power. That was done in three months. But as Rumsfeld said, Afghanistan was running out of targets. The Russians sent shit-tons of troops, they did not win. We listened to the military in Vietnam and they sent tons of troops, and what was the result?

318 I started listening to Rush today, but turned it off.  I just didn't agree with his take on it.  For some reason he thinks that if you aren't calling out Obama by name, then you aren't really throwing out red meat.

I think he is dead wrong.  Christie threw out a ton of red meat, but he was attacking the ideology of Obama and his supporters, not Obama himself.  Ironic since this is the thing that Rush harps on all the time, the need to preach conservative principles, not to dwell on individuals.

Ann Ronmey and Chris Christie were pitch perfect last night.  They espoused our philosophy, but packaged it in a way that fights against the shrill memes.  The entire strategy that Romney has been using this campaign is to appear as the adult in the room, and let the children on the other side throw tantrums.  We won't advance our agenda by throwing a competing tantrum.

Not only is there no way to "Win" in Afghanistan,  there is no reason to?

But   what constitutes winning in Afganistan  is not the same as it was in Germany, Japan, and even Iraq.  The  three latter were all industrious countries.  The former is a tribal wasteland.  The goal with the latter was to turn them into productive industrious countries who did not have the power to wage war, but while also acting as a check on the Russians, Chinese, and  Iran.

For Afghanistan, we can  go in there when needed, take out certain targets, and just keep it as a tribal wasteland.

@366 - fun fact, Speedo makes regular swimwear,  not just 'nanner hammocks.

I know this because I have one.  Mrs. Reason bought it for me a couple years ago.  She was out buying bathing suits for herself and the kids, and felt that I needed a new one as well.  She called me when she got home, "Hey, just got home from Academy.  Got the kids new suits.  Got one for you too.  It's nice.  It's a Speedo."

"....uh....that's great dear.  I'm simultaneously  flattered and embarassed."

It's like a normal pair of trunks.  And if I must say, I look smashing in them.

is cunsplay some type of word play on another term?

It's a play on the    Japanese     term "cosplay," or "costume play," which is when someone dresses up like a character from a comic book or TV show, or like a more generic character (princess, knight, astronaut).      Think Comic Con.

Yes.  Like when a bunch of  anime-fans all get together at a convention and all dress up like their favorite  characters.

Male dorks in suits made out of cardboard.  And girls in incredible cheesecake.  And sometimes, less-credible cheesecake.

We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Film Actors Guild are pussies. And Kim Jong Il is an asshole. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes: assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck an asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us fuck this asshole, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit!

Oh, WTF?   According to The Hollywood Reporter (via Drudge), MICHAEL DOUGLAS is going to play Ronald Reagan an an indie film     called Reykjavik, about the meeting between Reagan and     Gorbachev in 1986.   As if it's not bad enough that MICHAEL DOUGLAS is going to play Ronnie, here's     a little background on the production company:

Participant Media, whose mandate is to create awareness of the issues that shape lives, will finance the $10 million film, which is scheduled to begin shooting in March in Germany. Participant is no stranger to hot-button political topics, having backed the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth as well as upcoming films whose subjects range from Abraham Lincoln to Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet.

Their mission statement, btw, is,    "Entertainment that inspires and compels social change. "

456 Jaynie my brother came back from two tours in Viet Nam when I was in 6th grade. I assure you the stories of vets being called baby killers and spat on and told thy were killer or crazy were true. Because I heard them. From my classmates.

457 465 >The mistake was not assuming a mic was hot.

I don't get it, not like his comment was any worse than a typical Yahoo News headline?

Sacrifical Lamb bro...to run cover for them so they can claim to be impartial while carrying Obama's water "unexpectedly"

458 If anyone finds my motivation, send it back plz. The Boss took off for the afternoon (unexpectedly!), I've already done a Sonic run to get everyone milkshakes and now I should tackle my stack of filing. *spins in chair instead* Hmmm. If I take more cold medicine maybe I'll see trails.

Isn't it a Moron rule that if you get good shit, you have to share? If it isn't, it should be.

Watching Obama now at some school in Virginia trying to speak without a teleprompter.

He's fucking it up.  Lots of stuttering and he's got the crowd confused.

463 202 I cannot stand Peggy Noonan. She's already criticized Ann's speech. Now she's offering "advice" to Paul Ryan. maybe noonan thinks she can get a job writing speeches in the Romney Whitehouse

467 General Kelly should be the next Head of the Joint Chiefs. Yeah. Jumped over every jackass currently above him, and Romney's first appointment. And another thing, that Gen Allen, the hmfic in Afghanistan, the one who said the turncoat Afghan army weeds who murdered our soldiers were 'under stress because of ramadan fasting'? What a stupid evil emeffer. He needs some hard time in Leavenworth. If a simple farmer like me can see this, why can't everybody?
