— Ace Rebutting all the climate alarmists' theories and computer models, a skeptic presents his own theories and computer models.
Wait, did I say he presents theories and computer models. My mistake, I thought he was practicing the "New Science." Actually he presents the "Old Science" to make his case -- namely, actual observed data.
One of the better posts on this subject I've read, and very brief. Read the whole thing, and don't be put off by the graphs -- they're pretty simple.
And read the point about the conjectured hotspot in the troposphere, something that must exist if global warming alarmism is correct.
It doesn't exist. At all.
But so what, they say, rubbishing steps four and five of the scientific process (check theory against observed evidence, refine theory to better fit observed evidence).
So What?
Nyah nyah, we still control the major journals.
thanks to @comradearthur.

Obviously you have an emotional connection (and I applaud that!), but in this case I don't think that anything will come of it. As far down the road to serfdom that the American people have gone, I just don't see us accepting any repercussions for these troops.
Let's face it, they were obeying orders. The men who gave the orders are too high on the ladder to be punished. This is Kabuki theater for Obama and the other cocksuckers in DC.

"“The sense is that the body has sort of lost its way, and ‘Do I want to spend six more years if I don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel?’” Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) said ....
Graham, who knows a thing or two about shifting between partisan and peacemaker, said the departures of Snowe and other veteran lawmakers is less about ideology than it is about dysfunction.
“It’s an institutional problem,” he said. “It’s just our inability to move forward on the big issues of our time.”"
Yeah, Lindsay, I would tell your constituents to go to hell and then retire. That'll show'em. You've got other offers, lots of them. You don't need this.
Others retirees mentioned in the article are Lieberman (thrown out by his own party) Ben Nelson (D, whore) and Kent Conrad, who is retiring for who knows what reason.

Through my careful scientific observations, I have discovered that the burning of a koran yields roughly 523 milliwatt hours of energy. Considering there to be 1,570,000,000 muslims in the world I am estimating there to be at least one koran per muslim, though probably more, resulting in an energy source of about 821,110 kilowatt hours, or enough to power every vending machine in Tokyo for about 6 days!

My suggestion?
1. Pull out every American Soldier, immediately, today. Get them out of harms way. Immediately, no delay
2. Park a few satellites in Geo-synch orbit to observe what happens post-pull out.
3. Identify every taliban leader, and where they end up once they know it's safe to return. Give these fucking idiots who want to live in the bronze age time to get cozy and safe. See which members of the current regime get cozy with the Taliban - my bet, your looking at pretty much all of them.
4. Once they think there cozy and safe, we attack. No warning, no 47 fucking UN resolutions, No begging for France, China or Russia to give us permission. We launch anything that can fly and we completely obliterate every single one of these taliban leaders, anyone in the current government that supports them, etc. No time for them to run across the Pakistan border and hide. No way for them to retaliate, etc. If our experts think we need a ground campaign too? Ok, fine - again, no warning, no half assed lets not upset the natives too much" horeshit. We take every Abrams we've got, get them there with no warning, roll in and blast the shit out of anyone that even looks at us crosseyed. We don't try to take or hold shit. We aren't there to make the cities safe, or rebuild crap, we are there to kill. Period. We wipe the fuckers out, then we leave. Aghanistan is now your problem. Enjoy the bronze age, kill each other with impunity, whatever. Just know if you ever attack an innocent American civilian again, we will be back - and when we do we won't be nearly as kind or generous.
Collateral damage? Sure.. there would be some. Do we apologize for it? Hell no. Sorry, civilians die in a war. Google Dresden. Hiroshima, etc.. see for yourself. Shit happens. These folks were targeting are clearly dangerous, savage, evil people - and sadly yes, a few folks that maybe were just in the wrong place at the wrong time died too - but we didn't target them purposefully. Happens. Grow up, move on.
The moral difference? Simple - when they attack us the target civilians and innocents on purpose. The don't go after military targets, because there not soldiers, they are fucking dirtbags.
When civilians die because of us, it wasn't because we wanted it to happen, hell most of the time we go way out of our way to prevent it from happening. But our new policy is a simple one, we will no longer put a single member of our armed services at risk to protect your civilians. If we can do it without risking our own, sure, we will. But our troops rate much higher than your civilians - so understand this, you are the ones putting them at risk, not us.
Again, high time this country adopted a "Fuck with the bull, get the horns" foreign policy, and again, just my 2 cents worth - but we know from history this approach works.

That's 'cuz you're not slakerish enough. Evident by your postings in the side bar. You need to slow the hell down, and expect more wages for your performance. Then you might gain a promotion to COO, or something! :-)

There's rumblings among the management of the blog here that there's going to be a staff shakeup at the end of next month.
I hope it means I get promoted to Assistant Crack Whore.

"Mr. President, Mr. Secretary General, fellow delegates, ladies and gentlemen: It is a great honor for me to be here today. My message for you today is a simple one, one that is long overdue, one that will make our world a much better place for future generations.
My message, honored delegates, is this. Get the fuck out. Allow me to reiterate, for those of you sitting in the back, so that there are no misunderstandings. Yes, I said get the fuck out. Pack your shit, and go home. As your landlord, we are informing you your lease is now at an end, you are no longer welcome, and we expect you to vacate immediately.
No longer will the United States continue to host, support, or fund this completely corrupt and totally useless organization. If you wish to continue to have a UN, feel free to host it in one of your own countries, however be advised we will not participate. I think anyone who has been here longer than a week is already well aware that it is a complete and total waste of time, energy, effort and money.
While I could spend hours, days, perhaps even weeks with a huge laundry list of reasons why the UN no longer deserves our support or participation, I think nothing sums it up more clearly than to point to April of 2011, when Syria became a member of the UN Council on Human Rights.
To claim that this body has any "moral" authority at this stage simply strains credulity. As such you may no longer count on one thin dime of support from the United States, I'll give you a few days to pack, shred any documents you think will save you from later prosecution, and then we'll be shutting out the lights and locking the doors. Please try to avoid allowing the door to hit you in the ass on the way out.
For those of you who have spent years thumbing your noise at, trying to embarrass or generally being a royal pain in the ass to the United States, feel free to drop by your governments accounting office when you do return home and tell them how much they will receiving in US Foreign Aid next year. It's an easy number to remember. It's zero. If private US companies or some of our generous civilians want to try and aid the poor of your country I wish them well, however it will no longer be the business of the United States government to fund unfriendly governments of any sort.
Please feel free to gather in Geneva, or Paris, or anywhere else you wish. Feel free to decry our actions, call us names, whatever you wish. Honestly we could give a shit less. In it's entire recorded history the UN has never performed a single useful action and almost always causes more problems than it solves. It is the policy of this government that we will no longer subsidize such abject failure and stupidity. Now, if you "honored persons" will excuse me, I have to return to the Oval Office, so that I can kill this monstrosity called Obama Care and fire a bunch of czars, hopefully in time to save my beloved country from complete bankruptcy."
Lol.. ya, not getting elected.. but, fun to think about nonetheless.. lol

"Don't worry about global warming, the heat will create more clouds which will reflect all the sunlight back into space."
Not far off.

Global Warming isn't happening
Ok it is happening but it's natural
Ok it is man made but it's not too bad
Coming up next: Ok it is bad news but it's all the environmentalists fault
Ain't evolution grand?
