The US State Department And The Benghazi Attack
— DrewM

IÂ’m giving the podcast thing another try. The audio isnÂ’t perfect yet but itÂ’s better than last time.

I spoke with Robert Caruso (@robertcaruso), heÂ’s worked on physical, operational and crypological issues while serving in the Navy and in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. HeÂ’s also worked for the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), the office charged with preventing and uncovering waste, fraud and abuse in US reconstruction programs across Afghanistan. Robert has also consulted with the State Department on matters of diplomatic security.

The interview focuses on how an attack like this could happen and the role the culture and structure of the State Department may have played in the multiple failures leading up to the tragic death of four Americans on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi Libya.

Also note that interview was conducted on Wednesday afternoon before today's revelations.

It still doesn't matter to the Hollywood/Manhattan fellow travellers of TFG.  Remember how they blastsed Bush continually for troop deaths?  Well not so much anymore.  The deaths of 300+ Mexican citizens + our border agent Terry bothers them not.  Four dead Americans in Benghazi with this Administration lying and covering their asses - meh.

These people & media stumping for TFJ should be shunned\ and run out of town on a rail.  I will continue to be very selective of what I watch, listen to, read, etc.

19 Think about what it means if Obama wins. The message to our political culture will be hysterical hate works. 'Bama pho', Big Bird, condoms and dunce caps mean something, while Byzantine ad hoc nationalization of healthcare, dereliction of duty and dead bodies in Libya, and trillion dollar deficits out to the horizon will mean little. The country will be utterly alien after four more years of Hussein.

So who in the government did tell “anybody” not to help those in need? Someone decided not to send in military assets to help those Agency operators. Would the secretary of defense make such a decision on his own? No.

82 Officially, he was there to celebrate the opening of an English Speaking school in honor of the farmer that rescued the pilot shot down during the air support we were giving the Libyan rebels. I heard that on Laura Ingraham's radio program this morning. Posted by: jwb7605 at October 26, 2012 06:16 PM (Qxe/p) It pisses me off is that this is the first I've heard of the shoot down. How was that kept out of the news?

83 If you stay here and on Fox, you'd think it was the day before Nixon punched out.

84 Sorry....forgot the last paragraph.....

It would have been a presidential decision. There was presumably a rationale for such a decision. What was it? When and why—and based on whose counsel obtained in what meetings or conversations—did President Obama decide against sending in military assets to help the Americans in need?

No, they'll claim that the report of the multiple requests for support is a fiction of a Fox reporter.

104 I want Obama impeached. I don't care if he's in office or not when this is done...by in office, I mean the next 2 months, just to be clear.
And I want every political type of Obama's strip painted with the impeachment brush. Hillary should face charges, Joey, Leon...the works. And their enablers should have a mark put on them so we'll always know who they are and what they did.
I want this to be taken care of now so my grandkids won't have these types around when they become adults.

What's really sad about all  of this is that no one involved in this is going to see any courtrooms or  spend one day in jail.  Might as well get ready  for that fact.
