This is a textbook case. They'll be teaching this in law schools for centuries, if it's handled correctly. Careful documentation along the timeline, combined with each and every misreporting of the facts is the key. Show a concerted effort to deceive (which should be ridiculously easy, as evidenced by the firings), and show the continuing of the deception. Hell, I'd even go after local news organizations like the Orlando Slantinel. They kept running the pic of Trayvon as a 12-yr-old for weeks.

If you can't tell, this is one of the very few times I wish I was a lawyer.

If someone had advance knowledge of the threats against his faimly we should have disclosed them publicly as a negotiating tactic. I do not think anyone on our side who was involved in this was trying to win.
