— Ace An average 4.6% shift in swing state polling.
This is probably RomneyÂ’s best polling day of this election. Not only did he hold leads in the battleground state polls but Romney made relatively large gains compared to pre-DNC surveys. And the North Carolina poll where Obama led was partially conducted prior to the debate and Romney led by 6 points in the post-debate sample. Romney even led a poll in Nevada, the first heÂ’s led since the onset of the general election campaign. The national tracking polls didnÂ’t point toward any additional gains for Romney, but thatÂ’s hardly good news for the president, who largely trails in the national polls.
Three crucial states-- Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio -- were not polled in this batch.
Gallup: Biden was such a winner in the debate that Obama's lost 2 from job approval and Romney's two point lead holds, unchanged.

Nice pic.....thanks, Tami.
That's a good look for Romney....with his sleeves rolled up, no jacket.
I'm still hoping that he'll do that at the townhall debate on Tuesday.
He could show up in full suitage...then, take his jacket off and roll up his sleeves.
That would make Barky shit himself.

Heh, Hildebeast is trying to salvage her chance to run for President in 2016 by tossing Rice under the bus. Since Hillary herself repeatedly told the lie that the Benghazi attack was due to a video, she's screwed.
The State Department's self-serving claims that they didn't link the attack to the video is immediately discredited when the f*ckin' Secretary of State was pimping the video as the cause of the attack.

They were being shot at in the car.
Here's a briefing from the state dept. on what happened that night:
Here it’s a little harder to understand because I don’t have a diagram that you can show – that I can show you. But in a nutshell, they take fire almost as soon as they emerge from the compound. They go a couple of – they go in one direction toward the annex. They don’t like what they’re seeing ahead of them. There are crowds. There are groups of men. They turn around and go the other direction. They don’t like what they’re seeing in that direction either. They make another u-turn. They’re going at a steady pace. There is traffic in the roads around there. This is in Benghazi, after all. Now, they’re going at a steady pace and they’re trying not to attract too much attention, so they’re going maybe 15 miles an hour down the street.
They come up to a knot of men in an adjacent compound, and one of the men signals them to turn into that compound. They agents at that point smell a rat, and they step on it. They have taken some fire already. At this point, they take very heavy fire as they go by this group of men. They take direct fire from AK-47s from about two feet away. The men also throw hand grenades or gelignite bombs under – at the vehicle and under it. At this point, the armored vehicle is extremely heavily impacted, but it’s still holding. There are two flat tires, but they’re still rolling. And they continue far down the block toward the crowds and far down several blocks to the crowd – to another crowd where this road t-bones into a main road. There is a crowd there. They pass through the crowd and on – turn right onto this main road. This main road is completely choked with traffic, enormous traffic jam typical for, I think, that time of night in that part of town. There are shops along the road there and so on.

PPP polled Virginia in September and had a partisan split of D+3 and found Obama 51% to Romney 46%.
They polled again in October and had a partisan split of D+6 and had Obama 50% to Romney 47%. They pulled from indpendents where Romney led to add to democrats to give Obama a boost.
They had to INCREASE the partisan sampling to show an Obama lead. If they used the same partisan sampling they did in September, they would have a slight Romney lead.
IN ADDITION, Virginia in 2009 exit polling had it back at a partisan split of R+4. No way it is going to D+6 or above this year AT ALL unless something major happens to fuck Romney's momentum up.
Any PPP poll that shows Ohio tied is a poll that has Romney ahead at this point.

And now Rham Emanuel is in power in Chicago.
Emanuel may have worked for Barky...but he worked for the Clintons first.
I would love for some 'new light' to be shed on some old mysteries.

-- And the untimely death of a certain young choir-leader at Barky's church.

There's a hell of big difference between hearing that on election night -- ostensibly reporting a done deal, it's physically impossible for additional votes to matter -- and hearing poll numbers. The few who may persuade themselves that they can be lazy and not vote will be easily overcompensated for by the hordes that have just now roused from hopelessness and are having their appetites whetted for the kill.

Seriously though. You want to be ahead in polling. That is why they have been putting their thumbs on the scales to try and create an inevitability to the polling. They WANT conservatives to stay home (the indpendent leaning conservatives anyways). They know the diehards will show up regardless, but if Romney's going to lose, why would people hitch their wagon to his?
You want to look like your winning, since people like to be on the bandwagon.

@fivethirtyeight Obama finally broke Romney's 8-day winning streak in our forecast. 62.9% to win EC (vs 61.1% Fri) http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/

Nate Silver is a hack and a retard who was only right in 2008 because he was fed internal polling.

It's the worst example of presidental malfeasance since JFK got

I've been screaming at the top of my lungs about this...On that night Obama was drunk off his ass after a party and was sent to bed. Hillary was sloshed too.
Theses people drink to excess practically every night.

How many there, maybe a few thousand? What's the big deal? Obama is drawing 30,000 in WI.
Posted by: wolf at October 13, 2012 02:40 PM (c3oPV)
Yeah?
30,000 you say?
How many of them are holding Pitchforks or Torches in one hand and Bibles in the other?
You might want to call headquarters and tell them the Death Star Bus should not slow down.

If yoy wanted to visit the most liberal spot between the East and West coast, you probably couldn't do much better than Univ of WI. He's "singing to the choir" there - it means nothing at all.
One chorttles at the logistics of how many people they may have had to bus in (and at what expense!) to create the illusion they were looking for, considering he had trouble getting a big crowd at the DNC.

Yup, the only reason that Monica lived long enough to become a joke was the fact that Linda Tripp talked her into saving the blue dress with the DNA in a safe place. Otherwise she would've been murdered like the other intern, you know, the one who was killed outside a Georgetown bookstore. Her murder remains unsolved to this day--because the cops were told to stop looking for an answer.

This might fly in this really blue state in the NE but the Republican Rep has been there forever, I'm a DINO. I'm not going to vote for any Dem , I think it's insulting to speak of people in Mississippi as if they're lesser beings because a lot\ hink marriage should be between a man and a women, believe in the right to bear arms and don't like Obamacare. The Democrat has never been in Congress before so since he has no record to run on I guess he has to be a moron. Completely turned me off and I would have made me cringe even if I had still been voting Dem.

Hillbuzz brought it up a few days ago. Says he regularly meets with a group of older blacks who give him a lot of "local" news. Can't remember now whether he had a second source for it too.
