Supremes pass on schools censoring student internet activities when they are at home
One wonders who blocked this case because it was ripe. The lower courts appear to be all over the place on it. My feelings are that students have been bullies and assholes since the beginning of time. The schoolÂ’s responsibility and authority begin and end at the school grounds. They are not police and they are not arbiters of the internet.
Parents should be controlling this crap and if they donÂ’t then the offended party should seek redress through the courts, not through the schools. It is high damn time the damn schools got back to teaching and left all the other crap to others.

More fodder for the Holder gristmill. Unfortunately we are talking about a Democrat controlled State there for not only will fraud be rampant, but voter picture ID will never happen.

Fox News now not only carrying water for Obama, but also the Washington Post as well.
Obama on the much discredited “income inequality” kick. Indeed, the Democrats, being the good commies they are, have never got off that kick. And guess what, they are blaming……..the evil Bush tax cuts. The commies never met a tax hike they didn’t like (largely because the Republicans will never tax the Dems favorite constituents). Angle does make one comment at the end.
The study made no mention whatsoever of another fact that seems to back that up. President Bush also made several tax changes that resulted in 46 million people paying no federal income tax at all, a 55 percent increase over 1996.
How this Mr. Angle, real studies instead of ax grinding propaganda for Soros organizations say the income “inequality” meme is and always has been bullshit. There are two groups of chronic “poor”. One is the generational welfare groups who have learned that laziness and sloth is OK because the government will take care of you out of “Obama’s stash”, and the other is unwed mothers who drop out of school to start single parent families. Again, because they have learned that the government will take care of them. The rest of the functional poor move out of the ranks of the poor as they get jobs.
The best way to reduce the ranks of the poor in the U.S.? Declare LBJ’s war on poverty over, stop all welfare payments and other in-kind assistance to the “poor”.

Palin weighs in on the SC primary (but no endorsement)
“If I had to vote in South Carolina, in order to keep this thing going, I would vote for Newt and I would want this to continue – more debates, more vetting of candidates, because we know the mistake made in our country four years ago was having a candidate who was not vetted to the degree he should have been,” she told Hannity from her home in Alaska.
Hum, one wonders if this will have an impact. If she had made her “no run” call months earlier it may have. Not so much now. I realize this was covered last night but a lot of people will have missed it and as usual this will be a HOT topic.

Republican primary calendar tilts in RomneyÂ’s favor after South Carolina
What a bullshit headline and they never do get to the elephant on the couch.
The Republican primary calendar tilts in Mitt RomneyÂ’s favor once South CarolinaÂ’s contest is over, which could add to the pressure on his GOP rivals to exit the race.
Between SaturdayÂ’s vote in the Palmetto State and Super Tuesday on March 6 are elections in a number of states where the former Massachusetts governor is favored to win.
How about this idiots. The initial primary schedule has always been in his favor, just as it is always in favor of the “moderate” establishment candidate. There are only two red State primaries scheduled all the way up to Super Tuesday despite that fact that there are more red States than there are blue States. That bullshit should be reversed. We do NOT need blue States choosing out candidate for us. That is why we ALWAYS wind up with some lackluster wimpy RINO as a candidate.

Commie rat from CA says Italian cruise ship accident shows need for more regulation. How about higher taxes too scrunt? That captain appears to have broken every regulation in the book. WTF good would a few more useless regulations do? Will the regulators start riding cruise ships and doing real on-site audits and inspections? No they will not. They will sit at their desks and check lines on paper forms to make sure they have proper entries. (although IÂ’m sure their bosses will be glad to make PR cruises to look good).

Roger Stone wants to reelect Obama
He is calling for Gary Johnson to run as a big “L” Libertarian if Romney gets the nod. This is one of the things I and a lot of other people have warned about. This will split the Republican Party and likely spell the effective end of the Party. Small government conservatives are sick of the bull shit from the RINOs and the fact that their people even when elected are treated like shit by the party leaders.

PETA at work?:
Criminals cut power to pig farm in attempt to suffocate the animals
State Police at Newport and the owner of a Perry County farm are trying to figure out who and why the electricity to the barns was cut in an attempt to kill the pig.
At the Aspen Perry Pig Farm in Oliver Township, authorities say unknown people cut the power to the barns and the backup generator in what they describe as an attempt to kill the pigs by suffocation.
Proper ventilation is critical on farms. Without any power to keep fans inside the barn working, heat builds up quickly, as does methane gas, which can be fatal to animals and humans.

Solar-panel company lays off 40 employees
Willard & Kelsey Solar Group LLC laid off about 40 people indefinitely at the beginning of January until changes to its production line are completed, a company official said Monday.
Michael Cicak, the company's chief executive officer and chairman of the board, would not say when the changes would be completed or when the laid-off employees could return to work.
"We have some technical people in here improving the efficiency of the assembly line," Mr. Cicak said, adding that the Perrysburg-based facility still has about 30 employees.
He said Willard & Kelsey has a little more than 80 employees when it's fully functional.
The start-up company has been plagued by a series of production and staffing delays since it was formed in 2008. It has received millions of dollars in government loans and tax breaks and has been toured by high-profile officials such as Vice President Joe Biden, U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, and former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland.

Well, look who's best buddies with Lamar Smith (R):
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), one of the leading supporters of piracy legislation, echoed Smith, attacking the protests as “stunts” aimed at turning Web users into “corporate pawns.”
“A so-called ‘blackout’ is yet another gimmick, albeit a dangerous one, designed to punish elected and administration officials who are working diligently to protect American jobs from foreign criminals,” MPAA chairman and former Sen. Chris Dodd said in a statement. “It is our hope that the White House and the Congress will call on those who intend to stage this ‘blackout’ to stop the hyperbole and PR stunts and engage in meaningful efforts to combat piracy.”
Dodd actually managed to find an organization to join that's more repellent than the congressional Democrats.

Also:
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Wednesday dropped his support for controversial legislation aimed at stopping online piracy.
Earlier this year, Rubio had signed on as a co-sponsor of the bill, saying it was "important to protect American ingenuity, ideas and jobs from being stolen through Internet piracy."
Rubio's defection is a blow to supporters of the bill. The freshman senator is one of the most popular conservative Republican politicians in the country, and is thought to be a leading candidate for vice president on the GOP ticket.

Good Morning Morons. Its Wednesday January 18th, 2012. On this day in 1733 the first polar bear was exhibited in the U.S. in Boston.
