Happy Friday.

This was fairly interesting. I wonder how much it cost.

Everybody have a safe weekend.

1 Good Morning Morons.  Today is FRIDAY, March 30th, 2012.  On this day in 1981 Ronald Reagan was shot by John Hinckley.  He also shot and wounded two others.  He was tried in Washington and was confined at a hospital there.  He has been getting a lot of "release time" in the past few years and has gradually been moved to the point where he will be released permanently.  The SOB should have been found guilty period.  Although he didn't kill anyone he did cause permanent paralysis of Brady which gave us the Brady Bill.   And yes, the gun control nuts went wild.

3 On a related note the AR Supreme Court has overturned an AR law forbidding sex between teachers and students.   The problem with the AR law was that it was too broad and included any student regardless of age.  The court ruled they couldn't ban consensual sex above the age of 18.

Only two of the items to be killed are specific to oil companies. ALL the rest are normal deductions that all businesses get. In short, he is singling out oil companies for tax "punishment".

Luckily the bill was defeated and the defeat was "bipartisan". And also be sure to read section 6.3

7 Even more evidence that this Trayvon-Zimmerman shooting issue is a phony "squirrel" ginned up for election year propaganda.  The unions are now joining the phony outrage and are blaming "right wing" policies.  We need to make all 50 States RTW and we need to totally eliminate the NRLB which has become a political tool for the unions instead of the neutral negotiator it is supposed to be.

9 The State finally picks up on this BS tax fraud story from the left wing commie blog that started it.  They can never resist a daily trashing of Haley. The never reference the blog that started this BS rumor because that would hamper their credibility (which they have none of).  Then they go into a bunch of BS speculation.

Too bad that bull shit ruling by the Supreme Court in NYT vs Sullivan made it virtually impossible to sue a newspaper. (another bad case makes bad law ruling)  Of course such rulings only encourage what happened to one of The State's founders back in 1903 when a politician thought the paper had wronged him and shot him dead on the streets of Columbia. And got away with it.

13 Byron York on the 2700 page Obamacare bill and the justices.  The fact that the bill is 2700 pp long is an indictment in itself.

Perhaps we need an amendment to limit bills to one topic only and no more than 50 pp.  Of course we need a lot more amendments and perhaps even a new Constitution that makes the old one even more ironclad with no wiggle room for courts.

14 BI looks at Best Buy and the fact that movies and game sales there have really tanked.  What is interesting is the comments.  They all blame piracy.  I have to throw the BS flag there.  The reason they are tanking in that they have priced themselves out of competition with places like WalMart and Amazon.

As a matter of fact, since their primary electronics competition here went belly-up (Circuit City) their prices on everything have gone up.

FIFY, Vic. Also, I was watching Lou Dobs last night, he did a good segment on this. But there's a chance they'll grow out of it...unlike those middle-aged women (spinsters, divorcees, empty-nesters) who buy those realistic-looking baby dolls with the "lifelike skin" and treat them like real babies.

On that happy note, TGIF!

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) — An elderly couple has reached a settlement with Spike Lee after the pair said they had to leave their Florida home after the director help spread a Twitter posting listing their address as that of the man who shot an unarmed teen.

The couple's attorney, Matt Morgan, announced the settlement Thursday. Morgan says Lee called them to apologize for retweeting their address. Specifics of the settlement weren't disclosed.

So Shit Lee is sorry for sending out the wrong address. It doesn't matter who's address he sent it shouldn't have been done in the first place even if it was Zimmerman's. He has no right to send out anyone's address. The little prick should still be sued out of existence

It must be pretty clear in the vast Hispanic community where they stand in the pecking order of the democrat party.  If there is a situation between a black and a Hispanic, the Hispanic loses.

I wonder if there has been any recent polling to see which way theyÂ’re going.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- U.S. consumers boosted their spending in February by the most in seven months. But Americans' income barely grew and the saving rate fell to its lowest point in more than two years.

The Commerce Department said Friday that consumer spending rose 0.8 percent last month. However, income grew only 0.2 percent, matching January's weak increase. And when taking inflation into account, income after taxes fell for a second straight month.

Consumers are spending more after the best three-month hiring stretch in two years. But few who already had jobs saw big pay raises.

All signs of a glorious recovery!!! The Obama economic golden age continues!!!

I know, right?  I'm surprised that at the end there weren't a bunch of burka wearing women making that irritating trilling sound while a couple of hooded jihadis shot M-16s (AK-47s) into the air.

So, the history of the moon is as follows:  Hot rock cools, hit by multiple other hot rocks (the sound of which hitting would not actually be heard, since there is nothing in space to transmit sound - I apparently now know more about space than NASA can recall), and now hangs in space, a cold, large rock (which does provide some pretty wicked surfing on Earth, occasionally.

That's a riveting story!

I wonder how much it cost.
It's pretty clear from the video that it was a random natural event with no material outlay and not an infrastructure project, kind of like the difference between a river and a canal.

It cost nothing, yet we get tides. A win /win.
