— Gabriel Malor Happy Monday.
In case you missed it over the weekend, the Friday night document drop was a notice from the Obama Administration that it is sending the Palestinian Authority $192 million in aid, contrary to a Congressional ban.
WTC 1, the Freedom Tower, which will surpass 1,250 feet today, will taunt the Empire State Building (height: 1,250 feet) by lighting a blue and white color scheme this evening. Those colors were chosen to mock the Empire State BuildingÂ’s controversial 2010 decision not to light the building in honor of the 100th anniversary of Mother TeresaÂ’s birth. Didn't see that coming.
[Update - Andy]: As luck would have it, I visited the 9/11 memorial yesterday and took this picture of One WTC:

The new WTC building set to become the tallest building in NYC today. Note that the tallest building in the US is now the Willis Tower in Chicago and Dubai has the tallest building in the world at 2700 feet.

Also, my dad is on Tricare Prime and he has the doc write scrips for OTC drugs; that way they are covered under his plan with a $5 co-pay.

Residents of a London apartment block have been told that surface-to-air missiles were likely to be installed on the building to help combat airborne terror threats to the Olympic Games. "A high-velocity missile system may be situated on the roof" and 10 soldiers stationed in the building for two months for the Games

They didn't appropriate this money per se. Hillary is taking it out of general State Department funds. Which is borderline illegal and unconstitutional. That is the question I raised back when this was first announced.
One other thing to remember about this one. Remember when the Democrats wanted to impeach Reagan for giving money to the anti-commie factions in Central America despite a congressional ban? Why are they silent now?

The answer is simple. Ignore the il-legal bullying and apply the law in the election. Make the dems challenge an election after it happened for a change. With as much support as Voter ID has in the public it would make them look unavoidably like the partisan fools they are.

The problem is the equally unconstitutional VRA which says that the AG must approve of all changes to voting laws in some States before they can be implemented. . And piss on Republicans for agreeing to extend that "temporary" law for yet another 25 years because they are afraid some racists in the CBC will call them racist.

Also, the G20 conference was abruptly moved from Chicago to Camp David. Something going on here. <<<<
If I were a cynical man, I would assume that it is because Obama doesn't want the imagery of a massive anarchotard protest at an event he's hosting.
The G8 conference last year or the year before was held at the Deerhurst Resort outside Huntsville, Ontario. No public transit goes up there to support your average Day Protest trip.
If I were cynical.

As popular as voter ID is right now it has to make you wonder what effect the Democrat, and Eric Holder's Justice Dept. opposition is going to have on voters that see this as one more straw on the camels back.
Also, I did not know the new WTC was even being built thanks in no small part due to it taking them so long to even start.

As far as the NATO summit goes, they are telling residents to evacuate for the duration. This is a sizable number of people from several blocks of high-rise condos. They say access to their buildings in and out will be limited, since they (Chicago Police and Secret Service) are going to fence in this entire area.

Section V is the part giving everyone fits. It is blatantly unconstitutional on two separate fronts. But it has been challenged many times. The first challenge was shortly after it passed and the liberal courts of the day made up some BS that said they could violate the Constitution and the actual law as long as it was for helping blacks.
The last challenge was not too long ago in a case from TX. The Roberts court has this thing about BS stare decisis and they decided it was "settled law".
What we need is a court to rule that it is no longer a tool for helping anti-discrimination, but a political tool to aid the Dems in delaying anti-fraud measures.

And? Most of the cars sold here are built here, and Americans invest fairly heavily in Toyota and Honda. I really should have added Volkswagen in there, too, in fact. All three are agitating to reduce some of the regulations on car sales- allowing things like true turbo-diesels, and lowering tariffs and such: all of which would be good for them, but also for consumers.

Too bad they do not enforce it. What it does is make it easier to sue if someone's dog bites you. You could do that before, but this makes it easier.
One most people here do not understand is how their insurance company treats dog bites. When I had my swimming pool built I went down to the insurance company to talk about fences and liability. They said it was smart to put up a fence but it would effect the cost of my insurance which would not change because of the pool.
They said the bottom line was that I was covered for one pool accident or one dog bite. After that I was solely responsible.

Allen. Toyota and Honda are foreign companies?
My Toyota truck was built in San Antonio, TX
Toyota is also a client for our machine shop.
More American than GM or Ford
Every Honda Accord sold in North America is built in Marysville, OH. BMW, Mercedes, Hyundai, and Nissan all have huge manufacturing presenc ein the U.S. And...oh yes, the management is savvy enough to keep out the UAW.
I always try to buy Ford, but I will buy any of these before I ever purchase a GM or Chrysler vehicle.

Let me get this straight: If Reagan decides (yes, covertly) to send aid to the Nicaraguan Contras (nominal Christians fighting commies) in the face of a congressional ban, that's high treason requiring endless months of breathless negative commentary from the New York Times, and endless months of outraged committee hearings on Capital Hill.
If Obama decides to overtly send aid to Hamas (nominal Muslims who murder Jews and other nominal Muslims),.that's nothing to worry about and nobody important, except for some morons on a right wing blog even notices and comments on it, before moving on to the next story: Justice for SlayVon!
Got it.

I don't think wind speed is the issue. Quickly jumping to conclusions and settling all science involved, I think mixing air layers is the issue as I posted ( http://tinyurl.com/7w3bj2s ).

The have allowed the commie anarchists to riot and destroy private and public property for years with little or no punishment.
When you allow anarchy you get more of it.

I know they are Union and have a belief that without voting Union , they would liely be treated even worse by the leadership and the public.
In some ways their is truth in that, who advocates for cops , they definately are called all the names conservatives are Plus much more) (Pretty much the union will help them if they are ever faced with courts) anything ever goes wrong in many communities is blamed on cops.
If they do their job Yay, if they do their Job but it ends up badly like a shootout, they are maligned.
i don't have an answer for this.

"She is heavy and does not need any more meat..lol."
I don't know what it is but so many vegans are big gals. I am not sure I have ever come across a skinny female vegan. Now the male are always tiny and pale. I recently met a gluten free raw food vegan who was huge. I am not even sure what the hell she ate. Salad? I don't get it. You would think with all those diet restrictions you would be skinner than Gandhi.

It is caused by the blade tips whistling through the air. We put one of those up for a test bed way back years ago. Everyone living within a 5 mile radius of it complained and we had to take it down.

We're gonna win in MA-4. We're gonna beat the Kennedy machine this November. We have the candidate and we have the plan. But I need bodies to implement the strategy, and it's early. The more informed and more motivated we are early, the better jump we're going to have on the other two candidates in the primary.

Nope, owned by Mercedes. They were tootling around European cities a decade before they showed up here. When I first visited Amsterdam in 2000 they were one of the only cars you would see parked in certain parts of the city because they were the only thing possible to park by pushing it sideways into a space otherwise only usable for placing bicycles.

They ALSO lit up in red and white lights to honor Cardinal Dolan's rise to the cardinalcy (?). Because Empire won't use ANY lighting scheme to honor "a religious occasion," they said. (Though they do go red and green for Christmas and blue and white for the start of Hanukkah.)
Coolest thing about the Freedom Tower's lights? the men have to make the change by putting colored gels over each of the building's construction lights. So it's a real grass-roots thing and very laborious.
